You haven't been to America in many years.

Believe me it has changed.

Every day I see drug addicts and homeless people walking up and down the boulevard.  I have tried to offer them food.  They don't want the food, they want money.  I've actually been spit upon for offering food.  The 7/11 is daily flanked with people who are looking for money.  Again, if you offer them food they turn it down.

The immigrants piss on the street where I live and set off massive commercial fireworks on any given holiday which land in people's yards scaring our animals.  If asked to please move their car from your driveway you get flipped off. If you call the police for unlawful fireworks, you get no assistance.  If you don't have a "No Trespassing" sign on your gate, squatters can walk on your property and pitch a tent.  You have to treat them like a paying tenant.

A friend of mind has a home that she rents.  Her tenants left about 6 months ago and before you know it a squatter moved in.  My friend is not allowed to turn the lights off and the squatter has all the rights of a paying tenant.  She has a lawyer and they have not made any progress.  In fact the city has given the squatter a lawyer for nothing.

I have a guest house that I leased to a woman who was homeless for 12 years.  She dug herself out and started her own feeding program for the homeless at a church. I was so impressed with her that I rented my very lovely guest house to her for 300.00 less a month than I would have rented to someone else.  She has been with me for two years.

I went to Utah for five months leaving her there.  I would have trusted her with my life.  I got back and found that she had had some guest there for a couple of weeks.  This was not our agreement.  I don't mind an occasional "sleep over", but I'm paying all the utilities and I do not want strange people walking on my property.

She got into my face and threatened and told me the "she could have anybody there for 15 days at a time if she wanted".  She then proceeded to scream  "was my house permitted."  She told me I was rude etc, etc, etc.  I didn't say anything.  I now have a lawyer and we are trying to get her out.

She wants $10,000.00.  And, she can get it.  This would also be true even if she was doing something illegal on my property.  She is 60 years old.  If she was 62 I would have to give her 12,000.00,  It goes on and on.  If I had done something inappropriate to her, I could understand her attitude.  But, here is a woman I willingly helped and she pulled "the system" out on me and has not yet called my lawyer back and responded to his offer.  This is what happens when there are no boundaries in the system.

I've also been made to feel guilty for having Social Security (which I paid into), Retirement (which I paid into) Annuity (which I paid for) and owning a home.  I am now living in a trailer in a trailer park because the woman on my property has more rights than I do.  This is what is happening in America.

Also, I am trying to sell my house this year because if I wait until 2013, Obama Care kicks in and my Capital gains from my home (which is not that much) will be taxed 3.8% (for Obama Care) on top of state tax and closing cost.  This is only one story.  IT'S A BRAVE NEW WORLD!

I love America.  I wish I had a wonderful solution that would balance all the hatred.  I wish you could too.  I'm so glad that you don't have to be here to witness America.....it's so sad.

This was originally penned and posted on November 6, AD 2011. This is interesting because this was the Sunday after MF Global happened. It was still thought at this time that Corzine had stolen *only* a few hundred million dollars - not $1.6 billion, nor had it yet occurred to anyone that NO ONE would be held accountable for any of this. PFG Best hadn't yet happened. The Sentinel Ruling hadn't happened. The ObamaCare abortion and contraception mandates had not yet happened. And this was 10 days before I shut down Barnhardt Capital Management.

My decision has been confirmed as correct so many times over that there is no longer any question associated with it.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, is the hour in which the full and hideous scope of the horror that dares call itself “modern, Western Christianity” is revealed. After announcing my Federal tax strike, I have been overrun with sickening, nauseating email after email telling me that for me to enjoin a tax strike is “immoral”, “unchristian”, “contrary to scripture”, “pointless”, “a waste” and all the rest. To everyone who has sent such an email, and you know who you are, there are not words to express the depth of my disgust. I am ashamed – yes ASHAMED – of every single one of you. I had one guy email me and tell me that Jesus will not hold any of us responsible for any of the abortions in this country because we JUST HAVE to pay taxes and we have absolutely no choice in the matter. Bullshit. First, what the hell do you think is happening right now? Boys and girls, you are going to be held to account for sitting by and subsidizing the holocaust of the preborn. This country is being brought down as punishment for the genocide that every one of us is partially responsible for.

Secondly, apparently you all have been brainwashed into believing that the I.R. fricking-S is the most powerful entity in the universe, and that being condemned by the IRS is the worst and most permanent fate in the universe and in the realm of humanity. In other words, YOU IDIOTS WORSHIP THE I.R.S. ABOVE GOD. YOU FEAR THE I.R.S., BUT DO NOT FEAR GOD, HIS JUDGEMENT OR HIS WRATH IN THE SLIGHTEST. And you call yourselves Christian? Really?

Now let's think logically. The words, “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's; and render unto the Lord that which is the Lord's” have as a direct corollary the asking of a question. What is that question? Come on. Think. You can do this.

The question is, what rightfully belongs to Caesar and what rightfully belongs to God? The God part is easy. EVERYTHING belongs to God. Uh-oh. Now we have a mathematical conundrum, don't we? If we believe in God, and we believe in the First Commandment, then “Caesar” is truly OWED nothing. We can CONSENT to pay taxes in a spirit of truth, justice, solidarity and freedom, but only if those four specific ends are served by our taxes.
 
Let's go through each of the four:

TRUTH:
Barack Obama is a usurper. He is constitutionally ineligible to hold the office of the presidency, and he knows this, the entire Congress knows this, the entire upper-echelon of the military knows this, the entire intelligence community knows this, and the SCOTUS knows this. Barack Obama is an enemy of the United States, who is in a state of open, declared war upon it, its constitution and its people. This is the absence of truth. We are being “led” by a human lie, backed by an entire government of oath-breaking liars. Therefore, the government is illegitimate and has forfeited its licitness.

JUSTICE:
The Rule of Law is effectively dead. From the presence of Obama himself in the White House, to the lawless Department of Justice, to Fast & Furious, to Solyndra, to the unconstitutional “czars” and “executive orders”, to the Federal Reserve, this is a society ruled by a government of men, not laws. When government is ruled by men and not laws, the determining criterion of how government relates to people becomes brute force of arms and violent coercion, and not transcendent truth. We are utterly deprived of justice by the government itself, and thus the federal government has forfeited its legitimacy. (Note: Remember that when this was originally written, the full knowledge and scope of the financial market lawlessness was not yet known. MF Global had happened only six days earlier.)

SOLIDARITY:
The government is inciting both race-centered, age- centered and class-based antagonism and violence. In declaring pre-born children non-human, a genocide has been legally sanctioned that has cost 50 million lives AND COUNTING. ObamaCare is poised to exterminate the elderly by determining that their lives are not worth living. The government is consciously and expressly trying to break down solidarity amongst citizens along race and class lines, and in that action it forfeits its legitimacy.

FREEDOM:
From ObamaCare, to the TSA, to the forced acceptance of sexual perversions, to forced “political correctness”, to the overt support of Sharia law and muslim sedition, to the destruction of the Free Exercise and Equal Protection clauses, this government is working consciously and overtly against fundamental human freedom, and has thus forfeited its legitimacy.

5. Removal of the Commerce Clause from the United States Constitution. For too long Congress has abused this clause to regulate everything under the sun. It’s time they went back to being representatives of the people and not “law”makers. Those laws are generally written for the benefit of their corporate constituents and special interests.
   
6. Corporate accountability and the elimination of all corporate lobbying. Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and other quasi government agencies will no longer be permitted to buy off politicians. However, private individuals should be allowed to give as much as they desire in keeping with principles of liberty.
   
7. An amendment for a flat tax that is non-adjustable. This will allow us to finally get rid of a bloated tax code that was written by corporate lobbyists and special interests.

Windows on the World...a poignant, small surprise

I was just going through some cookbooks to see what I wanted to have my husband take to the swapmeet. Even though it's mostly electronics (and requires, interestingly, a ham radio license in order to be a seller there), he finds that my old cookbooks are really hot sellers!

In a book published in June, 2001, I just now found a recipe from the restaurant in the World Trade Center (Windows on the World) for "Roasted Wild Turkey with Cornbread-Bacon Dressing".

This book is a collection of recipes from various restaurants, most of which are in the Los Angeles (or Southern California) area except for a few, like this one.

It calls for a 12-14 pound Turkey so my husband, who wants me to save this book because of it's symbolic value, asked if we (me) could make this for Thanksgiving!

I woud try and type it out for you, but it's awfully long and that would probably be a violation of the book's copywright. Oh well.

Sadly, I'll bet that this recipe died with all of the people who were victims on that horrible, fateful day: September 11, 2001.

Anyone would think we had just elected a hip, skinny and youthful replacement for God, with a plan to modernise Heaven and Hell – or that at the very least John Lennon had come back from the dead.

The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship – its nearest equivalent – is focused on a man who actually did something.

I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.

It already has all the signs of such a thing. The newspapers which recorded Obama’s victory have become valuable relics. You may buy Obama picture books and Obama calendars and if there isn’t yet a children’s picture version of his story, there soon will be.

Proper books, recording his sordid associates, his cowardly voting record, his astonishingly militant commitment to unrestricted abortion and his blundering trip to Africa, are little-read and hard to find.

If you can believe that this undistinguished and conventionally Left-wing machine politician is a sort of secular saviour, then you can believe anything. He plainly doesn’t believe it himself. His cliche-stuffed, PC clunker of an acceptance speech suffered badly from nerves. It was what you would expect from someone who knew he’d promised too much and that from now on the easy bit was over.

He needn’t worry too much. From now on, the rough boys and girls of America’s Democratic Party apparatus, many recycled from Bill Clinton’s stained and crumpled entourage, will crowd round him, to collect the rich spoils of his victory and also tell him what to do, which is what he is used to.

Just look at his sermon by the shores of Lake Michigan. He really did talk about a ‘new dawn’, and a ‘timeless creed’ (which was ‘yes, we can’). He proclaimed that ‘change has come’. He revealed that, despite having edited the Harvard Law Review, he doesn’t know what ‘enormity’ means. He reached depths of oratorical drivel never even plumbed by our own Mr Blair, burbling about putting our hands on the arc of history (or was it the ark of history?) and bending it once more toward the hope of a better day (Don’t try this at home).

I am not making this up. No wonder that awful old hack Jesse Jackson sobbed as he watched. How he must wish he, too, could get away with this sort of stuff.

And it was interesting how the President-elect failed to lift his admiring audience by repeated – but rather hesitant – invocations of the brainless slogan he was forced by his minders to adopt against his will – ‘Yes, we can’. They were supposed to thunder ‘Yes, we can!’ back at him, but they just wouldn’t join in. No wonder. Yes we can what exactly? Go home and keep a close eye on the tax rate, is my advice. He’d have been better off bursting into ‘I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony’ which contains roughly the same message and might have attracted some valuable commercial sponsorship.

Perhaps, being a Chicago crowd, they knew some of the things that 52.5 per cent of America prefers not to know. They know Obama is the obedient servant of one of the most squalid and unshakeable political machines in America. They know that one of his alarmingly close associates, a state-subsidised slum landlord called Tony Rezko, has been convicted on fraud and corruption charges.

They also know the US is just as segregated as it was before Martin Luther King – in schools, streets, neighbourhoods, holidays, even in its TV-watching habits and its choice of fast-food joint. The difference is that it is now done by unspoken agreement rather than by law.

If Mr Obama’s election had threatened any of that, his feel-good white supporters would have scuttled off and voted for John McCain, or practically anyone. But it doesn’t. Mr Obama, thanks mainly to the now-departed grandmother he alternately praised as a saint and denounced as a racial bigot, has the huge advantages of an expensive private education. He did not have to grow up in the badlands of useless schools, shattered families and gangs which are the lot of so many young black men of his generation.

If the nonsensical claims made for this election were true, then every positive discrimination programme aimed at helping black people into jobs they otherwise wouldn’t get should be abandoned forthwith. Nothing of the kind will happen. On the contrary, there will probably be more of them.

And if those who voted for Obama were all proving their anti-racist nobility, that presumably means that those many millions who didn’t vote for him were proving themselves to be hopeless bigots. This is obviously untrue.

Two visions

The battle in this country is, very simply, the battle between two visions of where we should go. One vision depends on growing the government and the other vision depends on slowing that growth down and then trying to reduce the size of government.

The part that's not simple is trying to explain this to people who really aren't interested, but who vote anyway.

I've had countless discussions with people who do not want to talk about WHY they want to re-elect Barack Obama, they just do. Some of them literally do not allow you to say anything at all if it's negative about him (two of them literally did the "la-la" routine to prevent it). This is cult behavior plain and simple. Asking one of them why they didn't like Paul Ryan produced: "Because he's an asshole." This is another version of the "la-la" routine.

There's not a lot of hope in resolving anything with serious discussions in this kind of environment and so our future now rests upon the popularity of a cult hero. If Obama wins, we lose the country as founded. If he doesn't, we have a chance in keeping what our forefathers fought and died for.

And for the support of this declaration, «with a firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence,» we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our Fortunes, & our sacred Honor.

One problem is that the bigger government types do not like our founding documents and want to somehow change them or make them irrelevant or replace them entirely.

This is completely unacceptable to me and to conservatives everywhere and this is why the Tea Party came into existence in the first place.

This is a battle unto death.

This is scary because I've felt it...I've seen it...and her advice is critical for our bodily health and our souls (comes just in time for a lot of us):

...some of us are simply nourishing our ideologies—holding them close to the heart and feeding them on our stores of distrust and bitterness—and allowing them to steal all of our instincts to charity, to squeeze out mercy. You can see it on social media, most especially on Facebook where respectable, even admirable, people are beginning to lose perspective and attack each other over news stories, and sometimes over simple questions, reasonably asked. Where angry banning won’t do, full-scale attacks are launched in the form of threads full of red-meat, wherein “friends” are invited to feed, so the hatred may grow.

And it is all done in service to a sad illusion that somehow, if we do not post every story that makes us angry or proves our point, if we do not constantly attempt to fix the erroneous thinking of others, this election will fall out of our control. [Emphasis mine.] We must be aggressive unto hysteria in our righteousness, or the other side will win.

I went to see this movie with a little trepidation, not because I’m any sort of fan of Obama, but because I have no patience whatsoever for conspiracy theories. I want to see something based on more than tinfoil hat conjecturing.

Well, this is it. Dinesh D’Souza has done a remarkable job of explaining the motivations and mentors that shape Obama’s politics and worldview. If I say Obama is not one of us, don’t get offended. I’m not talking about his ethnicity or ancestry or the time he spent living abroad, I’m talking about a view of America that the vast majority of Americans would not recognize. To Obama America is not the “shining city on the hill” of Ronald Reagan’s world, it’s a power that has become rich by taking from the poor nations of the world, and Obama sees it as his duty to balance the scales once again.

To do that he must reduce America’s influence in the world, reduce her wealth, her military power, and her ability to operate independently from other nations. He wants America to be just another nation among nations, not a superpower where people like Mitt Romney can become wealthy by using the tools of capitalism and smart business. This attitude explains an awful lot of Obama’s policies and executive decisions, such as blocking the Keystone Pipeline and banning drilling in American waters while at the same time giving millions in taxpayer funds to support oil drilling by nations like Mexico, Columbia and Brazil.

The anti-colonial worldview of Barack Obama was heavily influenced by a false impression of who his father was (given him by his mother), and mentors from anarchists to card-carrying communists to domestic terrorists to anti-Zionist professors. This attitude can be seen in everything from little things like giving back the bust of Winston Churchill to big things like supporting Argentina against the British in the Falkland Islands.

Dinesh has done a very scholarly job of putting this altogether, including interviews with key people who knew Obama’s father and family, with the whole movie guided by Obama’s own words in his book “Dreams From My Father”.

This movie is a must-see for anyone who is serious about understanding what we’re facing in this 2012 election. Millions of Americans fell for the hype and voted for Obama without knowing anything more about him than that he was black and articulate. It was a perfect storm in his favor, but we can’t afford to do that again. The America we grew up with may not exist by the time Obama leaves office if we give him another term.

Go see it, and take an Obama voter with you.

Facts like, Obama voted in favor of congressional resolution 511 stating that his 2008 opponent, John McCain, was a natural born citizen because, unlike Obama, both of McCain’s parents were U.S. citizens serving in the military and, therefore, eligible to run for president, despite the fact that McCain was not born in the U.S.

Obama lived to Indonesia as a boy, attended school as Indonesian citizen as required by Indonesian law and so stated on his school registration form, and has never provided documentation showing that he retained his American citizenship upon return to Hawaii in 1971.

Obama traveled to Pakistan, by his own admission, using a passport which would show his citizenship status in 1980 and, yet, it has never been allowed to be seen by anyone.

Obama refuses to provide his college transcripts which contain information about whether or not he attended school as a foreign student, which would show that if he received foreign scholarships he could not have applied as a U.S. citizen.

The Democrat Party of Hawaii chairman, Brian Schatz, refused in August of 2008 to provide an “Official Certification of Nomination” containing legally required language under Hawaiian election laws stating that Obama was “constitutionally eligible” to hold the office of President.

When Peggy Joseph famously intoned in the last presidential election that  “Obama’s going to pay my gas and my mortgage” little did she know her blind support of Obama’s ‘HOPE AND CHANGE” would result in a 4 year drop in the  income of the average black of $24,000.  Now you won’t hear a joke about that from Dave Letterman or John Stewart because they still believe their President is working to make the poor better off.  The facts say differently but you won’t hear that from the main stream Obamamedia either. They still foolishly hope this town crier and his redistributionist Marxist policies will make the tide rise for all.  Tell that to Peggy Joseph.

I believe when history is written it will paint Obama as a tragic figure that had good intentions but went into office with flawed ideas how on to solve the country’s problems.  Remember he is the man who rode into office saying that under Bush and the Republicans that the income of average Americans was “flat” whereas the income of rich Americans was soaring. Well folks he has managed to make that “income disparity” worse not better.

 

When all is said and done we have a shrinking rich and middle class and a bloated almost poor society - made poor by policies that favor a government and its politicians over its people. Rise Up America and throw the bums out.

Did ABC and US News really provide support for Todd Akin?

President Obama has said that Todd Akin "somehow missed science class."

But Dr. and Attorney Orly Taitz, Esq. has issued a Press Release that challenges Obama and provides an answer to Obama in regards to some missed classes:

At a recent fundraiser Obama attacked and ridiculed Congressman Akin claiming that Akin missed his science class.

Obama continued a vicious campaign of misrepresentation and defamation of Akin’s character.

At a recent interview Akin, who is a pro life Christian, was asked about pregnancy after rape. Akin mentioned that he is not a doctor, but from what he was told by doctors, when it is indeed a case of rape (meaning as opposed to false reports of rape, when a woman has consensual sex and later claims rape) in cases where it is legitimately rape (meaning legitimate evidence of rape ) a woman rarely gets pregnant.

Akin was telling the truth, which is indeed backed by science. Statistically only in 5% of reported case of rape a woman becomes pregnant.

Akin never said that rape is legitimate, he did not state that a woman cannot get pregnant, he stated that a woman rarely becomes pregnant after rape. This can be easily explained by the fact that in case of a violent crime like rape, a woman is in stress, Her Adrenalin level, a fight or flight hormonal level is highly elevated, which makes it much more difficult for her to get pregnant and sustain pregnancy. Below are several links to main stream media, far left liberal publications, such as USNews, ABC and others, which are saying exactly what Akin is saying, “in situations of high stress, it is difficult for a woman to get pregnant”.

So, as we finished the discussion regarding Akin in favor of Akin, who actually understands science and against Obama, who is clueless regarding science, let’s go to other areas, such as criminal law and evidence. . .

The chief spokesman of a group of former U.S. special operations and intelligence officers attacking the Obama campaign's national security record compared the president to former Chinese communist leader Mao Zedong. Ben Smith, a former Navy SEAL and spokesman for the supposedly bipartisan Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund, made the claim on his Facebook page shortly after the president's State of the Union address in January. "This speech was given by the Heir Communist-in-Chief Hussein Mao-bama," Smith wrote on the social networking website shortly after President Obama's address.

Smith also said the president was "an impostor," a Muslim and a "Manchurian candidate" who should "go back to the country you were born in," according to the post.

When President Obama's Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA, aka "Obamacare") goes fully into effect in 2014, the American people will only then begin to see the implications of its thorough government takeover of health care, in all its glory. . .

Perhaps the most important and complex new IRS responsibility is to enforce the act's individual and employer mandates requiring individuals and employers to buy the health insurance not that they want, but that the federal government says they must have. This will effectively be a new burdensome payroll tax on the middle class and working people, and on job creators, as politics will force every politically correct benefit to be included in the required insurance, causing its cost to soar. That health insurance will likely cost $20,000 per year per family to start, rising rapidly after that. President Obama's 2008 campaign promise not to raise taxes on singles making less than $200,000 a year, and couples making less than $250,000, has been thrown aside and forgotten, with the Supreme Court ruling that the individual mandate is constitutional precisely because it is a tax.

Individuals who fail to comply and buy the health insurance chosen for them by Kathleen Sebelius will be subjected to a penalty of $695 per person per year, up to a maximum of $2,085 per family, or 2.5% of household income, whichever is greater. Pilla explains that "The gross applicable penalty is pro-rated to apply on a monthly basis 'for any month during which any failure' to have adequate coverage exists."
The PPACA precludes the IRS from using its levy power or filing tax liens to collect these penalties on individuals. But Pilla notes the IRS can offset the penalties against any federal income tax refund owed to you. The IRS can also seize any state or local tax refund you are due as well. And if you send any payment to the IRS that is not specifically designated in writing as applying to a specific IRS debt, the IRS can apply it to your health insurance penalty, and you will not be able to get it back.

The employer mandate is a new vicious tax on job creation that is already causing employers to cut back on hiring. . .

Public health care...YIKES

Another little reminder from an Australian friend's newsletter:

...years ago I refused to take out family private health insurance because [my daughter] was born with PKU so the ‘family’ insurance wouldn’t cover her.

So I opted to use the public hospital system for my hernia op only to be told the waiting list is between 2 and 4 years.

Quickly changing my mind about the public system I saw a consultant surgeon within 24 hours and I’m being carved open this coming Thursday. Then recovering in an $840 per night hospital bed. At that price I hope breakfast is included :)

This is going to be our future here in the United States [and there are a million stories out there like this one and worse] unless Mitt Romney gets elected and repeals Obamacare.

Past time to hold Obama accountable for his illegal actions

It is my understanding that the Dream Act did not pass out of either the House or Senate, so WHAT Bill/Act is Barack Obama signing? Thus regardless of what he signs, it is not law, therefore he is acting without constitutional authority.

So why is the Republican held House letting him get away with this? Why are they not filing suit in federal court to stop Obama’s illegal acts? Why are they not holding hearings and exposing that he is violating the constitution? Also where are the Republicans senators? Why are they not calling Obama to account here? Where is presumptive candidate Romney?

Finally, why has the Republican held House not held hearings on the bona fides (or lack thereof) re: Barack Obama?

(1) Birth Certificate – it turns out that Obama was the original “birther” claiming from 1991-2007 in his agents’ brochure that he was born in Kenya, the irregular fact that the birth certificate of Nordyke twins is numbered after Obama’s even though they were born after Obama and their births were registered after his (clearly an anomaly), and the almost universal claim that the long form certification of live birth Obama/White House released on 6/27/11 is a layered document and a forgery (attested to by numerous experts);

(2) Obama’s social security number issued out of Connecticut, when there is no known connection that Obama or his immediate family had with that state (and experts have claimed documents show it was illegally obtained);

(3) Obama’s selective service documents appear to be false and tampered with (attested to by several experts); and,

(4) almost all of Obama’s school records and Illinois bar records are sealed.

Again, where is the Republican House?
