Kamala Harris goes there: The angry black presidential candidate

Excerpt: Back in the 1960s, two leaders in the black civil rights movement emerged: Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. They were polar opposites.

Malcolm X, who was a Muslim, called for the complete separation of blacks and whites, declared that blacks should create their own separate country within America, and rejected nonviolence, saying blacks should seize power “by any means necessary.” King, on the other hand, was a Christian who became the leader of a nonviolent movement, preferring civil disobedience over violence. . .

President Obama, like King, sought to elevate the discourse, selling his “hope and change” campaign slogan. He didn’t dwell on racial divisions — at least not during his first campaign — and he was, at least according to his then opponent and soon-to-be running mate Joe Biden, “the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean.”

One thing Mr. Obama knew wouldn’t sell was anger, which CNN pointed out in a 2010 article headlined, “Why Obama doesn’t dare become the ‘angry black man. . .’”

Skip ahead again to 2019.

Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California, running for the 2020 Democratic nomination for president, is angry — and she wants everyone to know it.

Anger is, as you also know, the new way of politics. Everyone is angry — outraged — all the time. . .

“The violence, riots and destruction that have taken place in Milwaukee is an assault on the right of all citizens to live in security and peace. The main victims of these riots are law-abiding African-American citizens living in these neighborhoods. It is their jobs, their homes, their schools and communities which will suffer as a result.

There is no compassion in tolerating lawless conduct. Crime and violence is an attack on the poor, and will never be accepted in a Trump Administration.

Just like Hillary Clinton is against the miners, she is against the police. You know it, and I know it. Her war on our police is a war on all peaceful citizens who want to be able to work and live and send their kids to school in safety.

Our job is not to make life more comfortable for the rioter, the looter, the violent disruptor. Our job is to make life more comfortable for the African-American parent who wants their kids to be able to safely walk the streets. Or the senior citizen waiting for a bus. Or the young child walking home from school.

For every one violent protestor, there are a hundred moms and dads and kids on that same city block who just want to be able to sleep safely at night. My opponent would rather protect the offender than the victim.

Hillary Clinton-backed policies are responsible for the problems in the inner cities today, and a vote for her is a vote for another generation of poverty, high crime, and lost opportunities. The Hillary Clinton agenda hurts poor people the most.

There is no compassion in allowing drug dealers, gang members, and felons to prey on innocent people. It is the first duty of government to keep the innocent safe, and when I am President I will fight for the safety of every American – and especially those Americans who have not known safety for a very, very long time.

It is time for our society to address some honest and very difficult truths.

The Democrat Party has failed and betrayed the African-American community. Democrat crime policies, education policies, and economic policies have produced only more crime, more broken homes, and more poverty.

To every voter in Milwaukee, to every voter living in every inner city, or every forgotten stretch of our society, I am running to offer you a better future. I am running to listen to your voice, to hear your cries for help. The quiet voices in our society, not the loudest demonstrators, need to have their demands heard.

We reject the bigotry of Hillary Clinton which panders to and talks down to communities of color and sees them only as votes, not as individual human beings worthy of a better future. She doesn’t care at all about the hurting people of this country, or the suffering she has caused them.

The Democrat Party has run nearly every inner city in this country for 50 years, and run them into financial ruin. They’ve ruined the schools. They’ve driven out the jobs. They’ve tolerated a level of crime no American should consider acceptable.

Violent crime has risen 17% in America’s 50 largest cities last year. Killings of police officers this year is up nearly 50 percent. Homicides are up more than 60% in Baltimore. They are up more than 50% in Washington, D.C.

This is the future offered by Hillary Clinton. More poverty, more crime, and more of the same. The future she offers is the most pessimistic thing I can possibly imagine. It is time for a different future.”

The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Islamic supremacist groups have assiduously courted Black Lives Matter, and linked their propaganda efforts against “Islamophobia” to the Black Lives Matter stand against perceived racism. In Dallas last night, we see where this is tending: as Kyle Shideler notes in the March article below, “At the event, MAS leader Khalilah Sabra openly discussed the importance of Muslim support for Black Lives Matter, and urged ‘revolution.’ Comparing the situation in the United States to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Arab Spring revolutions, she asked, ‘We are the community that staged a revolution across the world; if we can do that, why can’t we have that revolution in America?’” And with the mass murder of police in Dallas last night, we’re getting there.

The Nation of Islam is not an orthodox Muslim group, and subscribes to a great deal of racial mythology that is nowhere in Islamic tradition. It is, however, also true that many black Americans first enter the Nation, and then become orthodox Sunni Muslims. And given the increased racial tensions of the Obama era, many people in both the NOI and among mainstream Sunnis have a taste for the “revolution” that is brought about by means of jihad.

Hitler disarmed the Jews because it made the whole process of murdering them easier on the Nazis. The Nazis didn’t want to get shot, so they disarmed anyone and everyone who might shoot at them. Like most evil tyrants, Hitler preferred to commit genocide without running the risk of being slowed down by those he intended to oppress and murder. His reason for gun confiscation was no different than the rationale used to disarm blacks in the American South.

 “Equality” Programs Aren’t Working

                    But Our USA Plan Will

Blacks have seen their annual income drop in President Obama’s first four years by almost $7,000 a year - all workers have experienced a drop of over $4,000 a year. Although President Obama recently claimed that the main goal of his second term is equality that same goal obviously didn’t work for him in his first term. But let’s be fair; not everything is Obama’s fault.

The facts are that over the last 44 years government has spent over $16 trillion on welfare, entitlements and means-tested programs in their “War on Poverty”. Predictably a greater percentage of Americans are in poverty today than when that “war” began. Predictably because government doesn’t create wealth it consumes and depletes it.  It only redistributes what wealth is left over after it takes its cut.

So when the “progressive” New York Times contends we need to rethink antipoverty policy we know their suggestions won’t work because their philosophy begins and ends with government as the vehicle where all wrongs are righted. And again government does not create wealth it consumes and depletes it through taxation and regulation.

However, NYT op-ed writer Nicholas Kristof recently pinpointed part of the problem when he opined that welfare and entitlement programs have only “addressed symptoms of poverty, not causes.” Unfortunately in his article he advances a .01% solution to a 100% problem. That was to spend more government money on the early development of children living in low-income zip codes.

That will be microscopically helpful in 15 to 20 years. It surely doesn’t address the problem now and that problem is poverty.  No one is saying that welfare and entitlements haven’t helped those living in poverty. What we do say at the Prosperity Commission is that we have to find a way to make the poor rich or comfortably so.  Until we do the problem of poverty and the ever-increasing $138 trillion of funded and unfunded national debt won’t go away.  It will progressively become more fatal to our way of life.

Most great wealth in America is created by investment. To prove that ask yourself where pensions invest their money. Investment in the stock market is where 98% of our pension assets are employed. Therefore the trick to making the poor wealthy is by their making an investment in the stock market and letting their investment accumulate, compound and grow over their working life into a sizeable nest egg.

That presents two problems. First where are they going to get the money to invest?  And second will they be willing to let that money remain invested for their entire working life in order to achieve the eventual goal of comfortable wealth for themselves, their families and their kids..  

Those questions are answered along with a myriad of others at www.theusaplan.com .  The ultimate result of the plan is that eventually the average American citizen will end up with a $4 million nest egg (today’s rate) and a $33,333 a-month retirement check.  Its enactment will immediately result in cutting the national debt from $138 trillion to $30 trillion and the creation of millions of jobs almost overnight.

The eradication of poverty is eons easier than to flying to the moon – and we already did that.

What do black Americans have to show for their support of Obama?

Not much.

When Peggy Joseph famously intoned in the last presidential election that  “Obama’s going to pay my gas and my mortgage” little did she know her blind support of Obama’s ‘HOPE AND CHANGE” would result in a 4 year drop in the  income of the average black of $24,000.  Now you won’t hear a joke about that from Dave Letterman or John Stewart because they still believe their President is working to make the poor better off.  The facts say differently but you won’t hear that from the main stream Obamamedia either. They still foolishly hope this town crier and his redistributionist Marxist policies will make the tide rise for all.  Tell that to Peggy Joseph.

I believe when history is written it will paint Obama as a tragic figure that had good intentions but went into office with flawed ideas how on to solve the country’s problems.  Remember he is the man who rode into office saying that under Bush and the Republicans that the income of average Americans was “flat” whereas the income of rich Americans was soaring. Well folks he has managed to make that “income disparity” worse not better.

 

When all is said and done we have a shrinking rich and middle class and a bloated almost poor society - made poor by policies that favor a government and its politicians over its people. Rise Up America and throw the bums out.
