HOPELESSNESS is the new HOPE
And failing upward is the new change.
Or how a cult hero became the new Jim Jones on the eternal search for a "socialist paradise" in the quest for national suicide.

Help someone
Please help a fellow blogger-in-freedom who desperately needs some help:
ZILLA OF THE RESISTANCE
Just a $1 or $10 or more--anything you can spare. I remember someone who helped me out when I had to choose between fixing my car (and I live in the Los Angeles area where it's really necessary) or fixing my teeth...I was able to do both because of a friend.
We are all friends in this movement to take our country back. As Glenn Beck says: help one another.

All we are left with now is three more years of the president’s “Bush did it” mantra and a buffoonish Robert Gibbs...
Obama is not merely flipping and triangulating on issues in a desperate attempt to shadow the polls, but he is doing so on matters that he once swore were absolutely central to his entire candidacy and his signature hope-and-change agenda, critical to the future of the U.S., and proof of his opponents’ either ignorance or disingenuousness...After a single year of governance, there is now scarcely a single issue that Obama & Co. have not backtracked on, flip-flopped, redefined, or quietly dropped — mostly matters that were once demagogued to score political points. The Truth Is a Precious Commodity

Delivering hope...
So...Obama co-opted "hope" from the old man, eh?

Are You Better Off Now Than You Were *Before* Hope And Change?
This President and his agenda have failed us. He is clearly out of touch with the people he thinks he is saving from themselves. Rather than focusing on a piece of legislation very few of us want, Barack Obama should be focusing on creating jobs. He can do that in a few very simple ways, not the least of which is to get Government OUT of our way rather than right square in our faces at every turn on the road to economic recovery.Read the whole thing

"Surely I was born for more than this."
...Sound familiar? Have you ever had a gnawing hunger and restless burden of wanting to do more and be more for God? If so, you are not alone. You were created with the craving to do your part to create a better world.Excerpt from
God is the fulfiller of dreams. I believe that at conception He begins writing dreams on each of our hearts. These deep dreams perfectly wed His purposes on the planet with the passion of our souls. In your heart today are the seeds of great imaginings of a future you hope for, long for, and dream of either consciously or subconsciously. God planted them there. They are the secret of your fulfillment.

Omid and Change
To The Point News reports:
Contact the poor newspaper guys whose toes will be cut off if they don't toe the line here and tell them what you really think.
Last week (2/03), Iran launched a communications satellite named "Omid" (Hope in Farsi) into low-earth orbit. The Wall Street Journal subsequently ran an op-ed by Michael Ledeen, who explained that the mullahs will use the satellite to broadcast to the world that the Last Days are coming and the Mahdi (Shia Islam's Messiah) is soon to arrive. Here's a related Valentine's Day progaganda piece

The Hope-Change Express comes to town
From some Chicago PUMAs who know whereof they speak:
If you wonder why we crossed party lines, for the first time in our lives, to campaign for McCain/Palin, it was because we tried our level best to keep this show from going on the road.
