Concealed-carry holders in Missouri purposely exposed in direct violation of the law
Highway Patrol and MO Highway Dept shared, on two separate occasions, the entire confidential database (185,000 names) of all concealed-carry holders with the Federal government in direct violation of MO state law....they wanted to match up anyone who had a mental diagnosis or disability.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFhGk6p77Fc&feature=youtu.be

WARNING: FALSE FLAG OPERATION
|
WARNING! A False Flag Group Launches Today
The American Rifle and Pistol Association (ARPA) is a FRAUD!
Do you remember the phoney "American Hunters and Shooters Association" that pretended to support gun rights ... but actually advocated more gun control and endorsed (surprise, surprise) Barack Obama?
Well, now with the 2014 elections gearing up, another fake gun group has popped up claiming to support "sane" gun ownership.
They're called the American Rifle and Pistol Association and they're officially launching today, July 4. But don't be fooled by all the firearm photos on their Facebook page or all the Second Amendment talk on their colorful website.
Here are direct quotes from their statement of principles:
R+P exists to promote SANE gun ownership and SANE firearms management. SANE stands for: Safety, Advocacy, Networking, and Education.
R+P believes that it is each state's right to determine for benefit of its citizens anyprerequisites, qualifications, documentation, training, and levels of demonstrated proficiency, if any, deemed necessary for lawful use of differing types of weapon systems. The establishment of any such requirements are not the prerogative of the federal government.
R+P seeks to work with state and local governments to help establish effective training and licensing programs designed to increase public safety while protecting eligible citizens' rights to keep and bear arms.
Got that? "Sane" gun ownership. Demonstrated proficiency. Licensing programs. Protecting "eligible" citizens' rights.
Exactly where in the Second Amendment does it say any of this? Who determines what is or is not sane? Since when do we need to demonstrate anything to exercise a right? Why do we need more licensing? And who exactly are the oh-so-lucky "eligible" citizens among us who will be granted protection from this bogus group of sham artists?
No, we don't want "insane" people to have guns. And yes, we think training is great. But we don't need more restrictions. We've been fighting for years to remove restrictions that do nothing to improve public safety and are designed merely to infringe on our rights as American citizens.
Spread the word about the counterfeit American Rifle and Pistol Association. Not only are they frauds, they're purposely insulting all gun owners by launching their pretend group on Independence Day.
Those of us with Buckeye Firearms Association, and thousands of other good Americans around the country, work countless hours week after week, year after year, volunteering our time to defend and advance our rights.
We don't hide who we are or what we stand for. What you see it what you get. If you disagree with us, fine. Stand up and be heard. But don't put on a mask and lie about your true intentions. That we cannot tolerate.
Click here to comment on their Facebook page and let them know you're not fooled by their charade.

Warn fellow gun owners on forums. Give a heads up to your buddies at the range. Don't let these fakers take our hard earned money or collect our addresses to further their anti-gun agenda.

Death to NICS. Up with BIDS.
So you have no idea what these are, right?
Just what the government counts on: low info voters!
But you ARE for background checks when someone buys a gun, of course. I mean, who wouldn’t be? The majority of Americans support them and they don’t involve a national gun registry!
Or, do they?
The “Uninvited Ombudsman” has a little history lesson for all of us with (familiar to some) names that jump right out and scream: “How soon we forget!”
No worries though: It is time to scrap NICS for BIDS, and move this debate to a better place.

Or, do they?
The “Uninvited Ombudsman” has a little history lesson for all of us with (familiar to some) names that jump right out and scream: “How soon we forget!”
How soon we forget. When the NICS computer was built and turned on by attorney general Janet Reno, in compliance with the Brady bill in 1994, she announced that the system not only would not erase records immediately after a gun-buyer background check as required by law, it could NOT erase records at all. What you need to know: REGISTRATION ALWAYS LEADS TO CONFISCATION!She said it with a straight face, to Congress. The Justice Dept. under Bill Clinton, had built a computer capable of checking out every American, from one spot in West Virginia, controlled by the FBI, a dream project the Bureau was dying for, and the quarter-billion dollar computer was incapable of deleting a record. That’s what Janet Reno wanted us to believe, it’s what she told us, and who knows — maybe it’s exactly what she built. We have no way to know. [Note: C'mon it's a computer, there's no such thing as one that can't delete a file, she lied through her teeth, had planned this all along].
Congress went wild, because the bill that authorized the monster computer (read, buildings full of equipment and staff) required that background check records be destroyed instantly after the background check was completed. Congress was well aware, and had been pressured incessantly by its constituents, not to start creating rosters of gun owners. The only way the background check got in the bill at all was with instant destruction of the record mandatory. Turns out statute didn’t matter much to the feds.
No worries though: It is time to scrap NICS for BIDS, and move this debate to a better place.
Sure, the authorities and those with a vested interest will throw up every obstacle known to man, to stop this great improvement. Sure, a gun store could skip the system and sell to crooks, just like they can under NICS, and risk their licenses and long hard prison time. Sure there will be hard cases that will require referral to agents for extra checking and extra time, just like now.Death to NICS, Up with BIDS
Death to NICS. Up with BIDS. More freedom always is a good thing. Fight the anti-rights calls for gunshow loops and holes with counter call for BIDS, money-saving efficiency, less government and freedom from Big Brother.

S. 374 represents a direct blow to Americans’ right to keep and bear arms without excessive government interference
Schumer’s Transfer Tyranny
The bill holds that any “transfer” of a firearm must be conducted via a middleman (in practice, a law-enforcement officer or the holder of a Federal Firearms License) and that a transferee is obliged to submit to a check under the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System. There are good-faith arguments in favor of and against this provision. But Chuck Schumer has narrowed the definition of “transfer” so strictly as to make his proposition absurd. If, for example, a gun owner leaves his home for more than seven days — leaving his firearms with his roommate, or gay partner, or landlord — he’ll be committing a felony that carries a five-year prison term. And while married couples are exempted from falling afoul of that provision, the family exemptions apply only to recorded “gifts” and not to “temporary transfers.” In order to avoid making felons of millions of couples, the government would, at the very least, need to spell out clearly what constitutes “gifting” a gun within a family and what constitutes a “temporary transfer,” thus regulating an area that has hitherto largely been left alone.READ MORE

First, the battle over Americans’ Second Amendment rights has barely begun. Second, gun rights enjoy a solid foundation, as long as Barack Obama is not allowed to pack the Supreme Court with far-left judges. The War Against the Second Amendment Has Only Just Begun

Did Gabby Giffords' husband commit a felony?
Gateway Pundit: Oops… Gabby Giffords’ Husband Mark Kelly Likely Committed a Felony With His AR-15 Purchase
If Mr. Kelly did not intend to keep the AR-15, but to give it to another, he is committing a felony by being a “straw purchaser” under current law, and he must have stated on the ATF Form 4473 that he was buying it for himself, so he committed perjury on the BATF form, also a felony.>

CLASS ACTION SUIT FOR VETERANS DEPRIVED OF THEIR FIREARMS
OrlyTaitzEsq.com

Posted on | February 22, 2013
A number of veterans got letters from the department of veterans affairs [U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs] advising them that the government intends to make a determination, whether they are allowed to carry guns. If the government arbitrarily decides that they are not fit, the veterans will be deprived from exercising their second amendment rights and will be punished if caught caring guns.
See actual wording below:
“A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both pursuant to the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, Pub.L.No. 103-159, as implemented at 18, United States Code 924(a)(2).”Veterans are a group that represents the biggest threat to the Inonesian/Kenyan usurper Obama, who is currently hard at work destroying the U.S. economy and the civil rights of the U.S. citizens, so the Department of Veterans Affairs is launching an assault on veterans by stripping them of their rights.
Please: write to me in this thread if you would like to be a part of this legal action, please, provide me your contact info.

Operation Thunderdome: "What we are about to experience will be like the Civil War, only worse."
It’s maybe 50 or 60 pages, I’m not certain. It describes an economic collapse in the U.S., followed by an attack on the government by “a made-up patriotic group.” It combines gun owners, Constitutionalists, and even Christians into an enemy group that pulls off an attack in Washington. But don’t fall into the trap of trying to pick the time of these events. Their plans are flexible, but their objectives are carved in stone.EXCERPTS TAKEN FROM CANADA FREE PRESS:
DHS Insider: Obama’s cyber warriors & preparing for collapse
Two days after the inauguration, at exactly 7:00 a.m. on January 23, something called “the Cyber-Warriors for Obama Project” was activated. I heard about this the week after the election, but only saw a hardcopy draft in late December. From what I was told, I believe this is a project that is being paid for through funds from Obama’s political corporation, the 501(c)4 Organizing for Obama, I believe it’s called. I can’t be sure, but that’s what I was told. . .
The sudden collapse of the U.S. dollar (however it actually plays out) and everything that goes with it (such as social chaos and riots) will be one part of a plan that was set in motion a long time ago. . .
Like I said, it’s been in the works most recently since the 1990s. A collapse does not happen without a lot of pain -people losing everything in their retirement accounts, savings and so on. Don’t you think that will cause one hell of a national security problem? And who is running our national or domestic security? DHS. . .
Think about Obama’s mother working in microfinance with Timothy Geithner’s father. What are the odds? And that’s just one “coincidence.”

Gun prosecutions under Obama down over 40 percent
Despite his calls for greater gun control, including a new assault weapons ban that extends to handguns, President Obama's administration has turned away from enforcing gun laws, cutting weapons prosecutions some 40 percent since a high of about 11,000 under former President Bush.READ MORE

GOP Adopts Strongly Pro-Gun Platform
As each party does every four years as part of their national conventions, this week, the Republican Party adopted its platform detailing the general beliefs and policy positions of the party. Here is the text on the Second Amendment included in the platform.
Included in the 2012 Republican platform is a strong statement of support for the individual right to keep and bear arms, which goes beyond a generic statement of support for the Second Amendment and includes specific statements on key issues of concern to gun owners.

CONTEST: THE WELL-ARMED WOMAN
WIN a complete 3 Day Training Course at Thunder Ranch!
I'm not going to enter since I've been battling what now appears to be a yearly struggle with something that triggers my asthma every June (second year in a row). It keeps me exhausted and nothing sounds like fun right now. But, this would be a gas for someone who is up for it!
UPDATE: OK, I'm in.
Felt better, and then my husband took me to Macy's and picked out a summer hat for me. He picks almost all of my clothes because, even though I went to fashion design school in the '70's, I have no taste (and the answer, for those who are asking, is "no" :-)
Oh, well, I probably won't get picked anyway.
But, if I do, you know I'll be so 'badass' for the first few days afterwards (hubby's already jealous...)

SO, YOU WANT TO OWN A GUN?
Read PART ONE:
PJ Media actually hit me with a pretty tall order with what appeared to be a simple suggestion for an article: a step-by-step process for those who know absolutely nada about guns yet want to arm themselves.Read PART TWO
My immediate response — “Sure, I’ll get right on it” — was tempered roughly .00093 nanoseconds later by the realization of the task ahead of me.
Getting a gun — especially the first one — is a pretty big deal. . .
With our initial installment, we discussed how people come about wanting to own their own firearm, and the pivotal question for all first-time purchasers: “What do you want to be able to do with your gun?”HAT TIP: InstaPundit
The answers are as varied as the people considering gun ownership. You may want to be able to protect yourself and others in an insecure world; you may be nurturing a desire to master the skill of marksmanship. Possibly, the competitor in you desires to push yourself and to excel in one of many shooting sports. Or maybe, it’s just: “That looks fun and I want to do it.” You know what? That’s perfect. As long as you want to do it safely. Whatever your specific interest, there are several ways to ease yourself into the world of shooting if this is your first experience with firearms. . .
