Comcast owns NBC/MSNBC. Disney owns ABC. CBS is owned by Viacom, with massive movie and entertainment businesses. CNN is owned by AT&T’s Warner Media a worldwide entertainment conglomerate.

The companies that own the major news networks, NBC, ABC, and CBS, all depend on China for massive revenue. Comcast Corporation is not only a participator in increasingly close cultural exchanges, but also the contributor and beneficiary of deeper economic exchanges between China and the US. Concerted Media reluctance to criticize china is apparent.

Our “free press” should not be concentrated in a few giant companies dependent on the good graces of foreign governments which hate us, and which therefor publish chinese propaganda. The protections of the First Amendment are only for a diversified, FreePress, not conspiring propaganda monopolies.

The antitrust laws used to prevent monopoly and oligopoly ownership of news media, even in a single city. The political bribers stopped that.

The justice department Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission should sue to force Disney, Comcast, AT&T, Viacom et al to distribute shares of their news divisions to their shareholders (not sell the companies to the Chinese or Soros…), to remove chinese control of our fake news oligopoly.

36. You said nothing when Obama dismissed charges filed by Bush Administration against New Black Panther Party members who were videotaped intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling station during the 2008 election.

37. You said nothing when Obama released Guantanamo detainees were released and went back to kill Americans.

38. You said nothing when Obama unilaterally changed Congressional law by Executive Order.

39. You said nothing when Obama fired an inspector general after investigating an $850,000 AmeriCorps grant received by a nonprofit run by former NBA star and Obama supporter Kevin Johnson.

Last year [September 10-11, 2006], ABC and Disney appeared to cave to political pressure from Bill Clinton, Sandy Berger, and Democrat leaders in the Senate. As a result, a key scene that was critical of the Clinton administration's mishandling of Osama bin Laden never made it to broadcast television. To this day, Disney refuses to release the movie on DVD.

And, as far as Sandy Berger goes, I consider this to be as great an unsolved mystery as the the Kennedy assassination!!

Did ABC and US News really provide support for Todd Akin?

President Obama has said that Todd Akin "somehow missed science class."

But Dr. and Attorney Orly Taitz, Esq. has issued a Press Release that challenges Obama and provides an answer to Obama in regards to some missed classes:

At a recent fundraiser Obama attacked and ridiculed Congressman Akin claiming that Akin missed his science class.

Obama continued a vicious campaign of misrepresentation and defamation of Akin’s character.

At a recent interview Akin, who is a pro life Christian, was asked about pregnancy after rape. Akin mentioned that he is not a doctor, but from what he was told by doctors, when it is indeed a case of rape (meaning as opposed to false reports of rape, when a woman has consensual sex and later claims rape) in cases where it is legitimately rape (meaning legitimate evidence of rape ) a woman rarely gets pregnant.

Akin was telling the truth, which is indeed backed by science. Statistically only in 5% of reported case of rape a woman becomes pregnant.

Akin never said that rape is legitimate, he did not state that a woman cannot get pregnant, he stated that a woman rarely becomes pregnant after rape. This can be easily explained by the fact that in case of a violent crime like rape, a woman is in stress, Her Adrenalin level, a fight or flight hormonal level is highly elevated, which makes it much more difficult for her to get pregnant and sustain pregnancy. Below are several links to main stream media, far left liberal publications, such as USNews, ABC and others, which are saying exactly what Akin is saying, “in situations of high stress, it is difficult for a woman to get pregnant”.

ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was briefed on the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques” on terrorist suspect Abu Zubaydah in September 2002, according to a report prepared by the Director of National Intelligence’s office and obtained by ABC News.

The report, submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee and other Capitol Hill officials Wednesday, appears to contradict Pelosi’s statement last month that she was never told about the use of waterboarding or other special interrogation tactics. Instead, she has said, she was told only that the Bush administration had legal opinions that would have supported the use of such techniques.

Obama undermines the CIA...and our security

Calling the ACLU push to release the photographs "prurient" and "reprehensible," Dr. Mark M. Lowenthal, former Assistant Director of Central Intelligence for Analysis and Production, tells ABC News that the Obama administration should have taken the case all the way to the Supreme Court.

"They should have fought it all the way; if they lost, they lost," Lowenthal said. "There's nothing to be gained from it. There's no substantive reason why those photos have to be released."

Lowenthal said the president's moves in the last week have left many in the CIA dispirited, based on "the undercurrent I've been getting from colleagues still in the building, or colleagues who have left not that long ago."

"We ask these people to do extremely dangerous things, things they've been ordered to do by legal authorities, with the understanding that they will get top cover if something goes wrong," Lowenthal says. "They don't believe they have that cover anymore." Releasing the photographs "will make it much worse," he said.
