Samuel Miller Breckinridge Long (D) was Assistant Secretary of State under FDR and in 1916 he wrote an essay that was published in the Chicago Legal News. The essay was titled “Is Mr. Charles Evans Hughes a natural born citizen, within the meaning of the constitution?”

In the video below, Mr. Long makes sense of the term “Natural Born Citizen”

4/20/18: Fox & Friends Discusses Presidential Eligibility

by Sharon Rondeau
(Apr. 20, 2018) — During the 6 AM hour on Friday’s “Fox & Friends,” co-host Steve Doocy quickly reviewed the qualifications for the President of the United States gleaned from Article II of the U.S. Constitution.
The discussion arose after New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called himself “undocumented” in remarks made during an April 12 bill-signing in an effort to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

‘She has a design background:’ First lady Melania Trump prepares to host state dinner

A beautiful article which lets you in on some of the reasons why our First Lady is the perfect person to be in charge of something like this.
State dinners, with all their protocol and symbolism, are the highest-profile entertaining any White House can do, and for Melania Trump, a state dinner is a chance to showcase her strengths, said Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s spokeswoman.

“Remember, she has a design background,” Grisham said, referencing Trump’s career as a fashion model and as owner of her namesake jewelry line.

“She has amazing taste, which makes things very, very easy,” added social secretary Rickie Niceta.
And, as for the differences between Melania and the previous first lady:
Trump chose to hold the dinner for the French dignitaries in the State Room, the smallest of the White House venues used for such events. The guest list is a modest 130 to 150, making for a more intimate soiree than many state dinners in previous administrations. (For example, the Obamas’ last state dinner, for Italy, packed nearly 400 guests into a tent on the South Lawn.)

It’s a reflection of one of the first lady’s principles for entertaining, aides said. Trump believes “it should never be too crowded,” Niceta said. “You should be able to move; you should be able to see the White House and feel special that you’re here.”
Each to his own! Some people believe in elegance and intimacy...others just shove as many people as they can fit into a big tent.

Breaking up is hard to do...

We cannot come together, but we do not have to live like this. The history of the world is nations breaking up and redrawing their borders. If we want to avoid this political divide turning into a deadly one, we should do likewise.

Do Animals or Pets Go To Heaven?

It is pointless to ponder the question of whether your pet goes to heaven if you yourself are not there.

BREAKING: Lawmakers Make Criminal Referral on Clinton, Comey, Lynch to DOJ on Steele Dossier

Obama officials and FBI embattled agents also targeted for possible violations of federal law

The left likes to believe that it can close Pandora's Box whenever it pleases. History tells us differently.

From Steele to Mueller, the cost of overturning the 2016 election.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical left and Islamic terrorism.
In the early seventies, political operatives disguised as delivery men broke into a Washington D.C. office. These efforts to spy on the political opposition would culminate in what we know as Watergate.
In the late teens, political operatives disguised as FBI agents, NSA personnel and other employees of the Federal government eavesdropped, harassed and raided the offices of the political opposition.
The raids of Michael Cohen’s hotel room, home and office are just this week’s Watergate.

Comey has the nerve to talk about "loyalty"??
"And if there was anything the residents of Hillaryland knew, it was not to run afoul of the boss's obsessive demands for loyalty."

Albert Jay Nock: Perhaps the most brilliant American essayist of the 20th century, and certainly among its most important libertarian thinkers

DOWNLOAD Memoirs of a Superfluous Man - MISES INSTITUTE
Albert Jay Nock, perhaps the most brilliant American essayist of the 20th century, and certainly among its most important libertarian thinkers, set out to write his autobiography but he ended up doing much more. He presents here a full theory of society, state, economy, and culture, and does so almost inadvertently.

His stories, lessons, observations, and conclusions pack a very powerful punch, so much so that anyone who takes time to read carefully cannot but end up changed in intellectual outlook. One feels that one has been let in a private club of people who see more deeply than others. This is truly an American classic.

Newsmax's Top 25 Conservative Documentaries of All Time

While conservative documentaries are often panned by Hollywood critics and seldom garner film festival awards, many draw impressive crowds to theaters, rack up eye-popping box office totals, and have exerted a significant impact on American culture and politics.

For instance, film industry experts say “2016: Obama’s America,” “The Clinton Chronicles,” and “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party” helped lay the groundwork for the election of Donald Trump as president and other conservatives.

“Some of these movies have actually changed the political landscape,” says Dr. Ted Baehr, a media critic and publisher and editor-in-chief of Movieguide, a website and journal that evaluates films and television programs from a conservative Christian perspective.

New York Times best-selling author Dinesh D’Souza says his 2012 film “2016: Obama’s America” didn’t keep voters from electing Barack Obama as president, but his 2016 film “Hillary’s America” seemed to have more of an impact.

“Arguably my later film ‘Hillary’s America’ had more impact in actually shaping the narrative and the outcome of an election,” D’Souza told Newsmax. “'2016' was my first documentary. I’ve now done three of them. In fact, I have a new one (tentatively titled ‘Death of a Nation’) coming out this summer, but I think the Hillary movie may have had more electoral impact, although the Obama movie I think has had a greater impact in shaping how Obama is seen by the population at large and perhaps also by history.”

Now, to help readers choose some of the best conservative documentaries, Newsmax has compiled a list of the top 25 conservative documentaries of all time. The criteria followed were simple: The films that generated the highest box office totals and made a “significant impact.”

In selecting the films, Newsmax sought to pick the documentaries by cross-referencing data on Box Office Mojo with the Internet Movie Database as well as information provided by filmmakers and film industry experts.

The second criterion — films that made a “significant impact” — is a more subjective one based on knowledge of conservative documentaries and the film industry.

Given thousands of documentary films made over the decades, undoubtedly some fine films were left out, but this list will give Newsmax readers a discerning guide to the highest-grossing and most impactful conservative documentaries.

Without further ado, here’s how Newsmax, in collaboration with author Troy Anderson, ranked the top 25 conservative documentaries of all time:

The Complete Obama Timeline is a 30-volume set of books covering the life of Barack Obama, from his birth in 1961 to his last day in the Oval Office. The purpose of this Timeline is two-fold: to relate the story of Obama and to explain how and why he came to power. It will take the nation many years to recover from the devastating actions of Obama and his fellow radicals. It will take even longer if few understand how it all happened. This Timeline is intended to help people understand.

The Christian Origins of America’s Constitutional Republic

By the 1770s, the generation of Colonial leaders who fought the American Revolution and passed and ratified the Constitution embraced the concepts of popular sovereignty, individual free choice, and need for covenantal agreements–expressed in writing and clearly understood by all to either accept or reject–that Roger Williams and John Lilburne had first advanced more than a century before as natural continuations of their Christian faith to the civil realm.

He said what?!?
