Obama is not legally eligible to be president, but neither is Ted Cruz - UPDATE

Neither Obama nor Cruz qualify as members of the class of persons identified as natural-born citizens by the U.S. Supreme Court in Minor vs. Happersett and are therefore not eligible to be President of the United States.

NATURAL BORN CITIZEN = THOSE BORN IN THE COUNTRY OF PARENTS WHO ARE CITIZENS:

TOP WASHINGTON D.C. CONSTITUTIONAL LAWYER: "A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN IS ONE WHO IS BORN TO A MOTHER AND A FATHER WHO ARE UNITED STATES CITIZENS"

To add further proof to the intent of the Founding Fathers literal meaning of Vattel’s definition of a natural born citizen being born of two citizens, and in the country itself, and wanting a natural born citizen having no other claim to his loyalty except that of the United States of America, in 1795 the Congress amended the Naturalization Act of 1790.

The above argument also refutes the following article: Is Ted Cruz a Natural Born Citizen?

Why Obama is ineligible – regardless of his birthplace

Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father.  Cruz is a great man, a true conservative but he is ineligible to be President, because the law of Canada made him a citizen of Canada by BIRTH. His citizenship comes from Title 8 of the United States Code.
