The second worst feeling in the world has to be the platform crew being desperately asked for help, given a clear target and then having to stand down and watch your fellow Americans die.There are six updates here...one commenter posted twice in a row with great points about Update #6 which is important since it seemed to confirm Leon Panetta's version of events on 9/11/12 in Benghazi, Libya where we lost our American Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other brave Americans: RIP Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty.
The worst has to be the team on the ground knowing that the President just left you to die.

Re Update 6: "Marine resources were in the middle of a rotation" Does a rotation take more than 7 hours? Wouldn't you have a policy of "make-before-break" when rotating forces?
