HE IS RISEN

Below are excerpts from the Gospels of Matthew and John. The reason I love these two accounts is that they are both made by eyewitnesses, and like all eyewitness accounts of the same event they differ.

I especially like John's account, how he inserts himself into the story using the third person. Is it just me, or is there a bit of false humility in that? It's just so ... human. It makes it more believable to me.
