GASP: A military support organization helps soldiers keep their pets.
A nonprofit military support organization made up of an all volunteer pet foster home network. Founded in 2005 by Carole Olmedo and Linda Spurlin-Dominik, GASP’s mission is to support military heroes — active duty service members, wounded warriors or honorably discharged veterans — and their beloved pets by ensuring that the pets are reunited with their owners after a deployment or unforeseen emergency hardship that impacts the owner’s ability to care for them.
