Kevin at HillBuzz.com created the excellent Mystery of the Filthy, Filthy Carpet series--our very own canary in our very own coal mine (one of the few left after Obama's killed at least 110 of 'em).

I suggest that everyone start taking a lot of "before" pictures before any more things disappear (like the blocks of vacant stores on Ventura Blvd. near Reseda Blvd. in Tarzana, CA) so that we can all take a lot of "after" pictures (that is, if Obama or his replacements allow us to do that assuming there's anyone left who can afford the damn things by then).
