WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY

Just saw on Facebook: It's a Non-Profit Organization
Welcome to the National Tea Party, a new political party dedicated to the heretofore abandoned principles upon which this country was formed: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Our platform is simple:
  1. No deficit spending. If the federal government doesn’t have the money they cannot beg, borrow, and steal to get it.
  2. An international gold standard or an equivalent. Presently the Federal Reserve can tax every citizen by printing trillions of dollars that are not backed by anything tangible thereby devaluing the currency. Restricting their ability to print money will protect the value of our dollar and greatly reduce the ability of the government to tax citizens without their permission.
  3. Federal and state term limits. Why? Those who are attracted to power are attracted to politics in part because there is life tenure.
  4. True separation of powers. This means the elimination of administrative agencies that act as prosecutor, judge, and jury. Those functions were meant to be handled by the judiciary. Therefore the federal agencies must be eliminated or their judiciary powers removed, and the judiciary must be prevented from legislating from the bench by allegorical readings of state and federal laws.
  5. Removal of the Commerce Clause from the United States Constitution. For too long Congress has abused this clause to regulate everything under the sun. It’s time they went back to being representatives of the people and not “law”makers. Those laws are generally written for the benefit of their corporate constituents and special interests.
  6. Corporate accountability and the elimination of all corporate lobbying. Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and other quasi government agencies will no longer be permitted to buy off politicians. However, private individuals should be allowed to give as much as they desire in keeping with principles of liberty.
  7. An amendment for a flat tax that is non-adjustable. This will allow us to finally get rid of a bloated tax code that was written by corporate lobbyists and special interests.
If we protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness we will once again be a great nation. Please share these 7 principles with your friends and invite them to join our cause on July 4th at the gates of the White House for a National Tea Party!
