Eminent scholars say it’s unlikely that Thomas Jefferson fathered Sally Hemings‘ children...

It's official: we're already in a recession!
Since 1948, every time the four-quarter change has fallen below 2 percent, the economy has entered a recession. It’s hard to argue against an indicator with such a long history of accuracy.Leading Economics Blog: US Economy Already In Recession
Obama's race wars: Third World campaign tactics come to America
By threatening race riots, Obama has intimidated the entire US Government from questioning his Constitutional eligibility for the Presidency and investigating his forged birth certificate and Selective Service registration and his stolen Social Security Number. The race riot strategy has worked so well keeping him in office, Obama intends to exploit that threat to get himself re-elected.Obama’s ineligibility: Prepare to defend America – Obama’s race war begins

Pedophilia, Sharia Law, and America
Ann Barnhardt discusses the topic of pedophilia and its relationship to Sharia Law in Islam. See my previous post on this subject: Heart of Islam: Child abuse, pederasty, rape, torture, pedophilia
It's frightening what is happening in our own country--as Ann explains below--and yet it makes a lot of sense when you realize where our president spent his formative years.

S&P Vendetta and Pedophile Normalization

I tweeted an article earlier this week on the American Psychiatric Association moving to normalize pedophilia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Guys, this isn't some fringe outfit. The APA and the DSM is THE benchmark psychiatric text used in legal proceedings and the drafting and contesting of legislation. The APA normalized homosexuality in 1973, and instantaneously our societal and civilizational collapse commenced. But, I think everyone is missing a key point and motivation in all of this pedophilia stuff. Sure, pedophiles like Obama's "Safe-Schools Czar" Kevin Jennings want to be able to rape boys with legal protection.
(Google these terms: "Kevin Jennings Fistgate" and read up on how this guy organized pedophilia seminars for elementary school students teaching them how to cruise public restrooms and engage in the horrific evil of "fisting". BigGovernment.com exposed all of this in 2009 and NOTHING was ever said anywhere in the media, including Fox News. That was all the proof I needed that Fox News was in the tank just as much as all of the other outfits. Obama literally appointed a known pedophile to be "Safe-Schools Czar" and no one said a damn word.)
What this pedophilia legalization really has to do with is SHARIA LAW. In islam, men are allowed to have sex with children and infants. It is fully legally sanctioned not only by imams issuing doctrinal fatwas, but also by the hadiths and the koran itself. Pedophilia is intrinsic to islam. There are multiple citations in the koran ratifying and glorifying sex with children of both sexes. I covered those in my koran-burning YouTube video. The reason the APA is moving to "normalize" pedophilia, or as they call it, "attraction to minors", is so that the deck will be cleared for muslims and Sharia, and there will be no way to prosecute muslims for child rape.
Hillary Clinton is pushing the U.N. law that would make "defamation of religion" a crime. Of course by "religion" they are referring to islam and islam alone - even though islam is NOT a religion. But that mis-categorization is all part of the plan. Arresting and trying muslims for child rape would be in conflict with this U.N. muslim-supremacy act, thus pedophilia must be legalized and sanctioned in the U.S. statutes and in stare decisis (legal precedent). The fact of the matter is this: if my government legally sanctions pedophilia, then that government is not only dead to me, but it is my enemy. That is the ONLY moral response to such an act of evil. Get your heads around this, people. There is no way a moral human being can rationalize or justify allegiance to a government that sanctions the rape of children and infants. Lock and load.

It wouldn’t matter if Al Capone were president of the United States, impeachment and a Senate trial is the only way to remove a sitting president from office.
Of all the things this administration has done, the best option for having Obama removed through impeachment and conviction is Operation Fast and Furious. It is a scandal that has been percolating just beneath the surface for months now and it involves the ATF allowing weapons to ‘walk’ into Mexico; it reaches to the highest levels of the Justice Department at minimum. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, ICE agent Jaime Zapata, and countless Mexican civilians are all alleged to have been murdered as a direct result of those who authorized it.Will Congressman Eliot Ness Please Stand Up?
Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa has already chaired multiple rounds of hearings; he’s way out in front of Lamar Smith in that regard. Attorney General Eric Holder, Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich, and ATF Supervisor William Newell have all given testimony that reeks of perjury. As the scandal creeps along, it gets closer to the White House and Issa says there will be even more hearings. If this administration either authorized or knew about Fast and Furious, the scandal instantly becomes Watergate with murder.
If Obama authorized the operation, he could be guilty of criminally negligent manslaughter, which occurs when the death of another human being is the result of serious negligence or recklessness. Authorizing a program that puts guns in the hands of drug cartels who kill our federal agents would necessarily qualify. If, as some have alleged, the intent of the Obama administration was to create a crisis of guns crossing the border – in order to further a gun control agenda – we’re talking constructive manslaughter, which is more severe because it involves malicious intent.
If Holder committed perjury when he told the Senate Judiciary committee on May 4th that he had only learned about Fast and Furious a few weeks earlier, did Obama know his Attorney General committed perjury and do nothing about it? Worse yet, did he instruct Holder to commit perjury? In the former case, it’s called aiding and abetting perjury. In the latter case, it’s called suborning it.
Manslaughter and perjury are both impeachable offenses and Darrell Issa’s committee is getting very close to the truth, which does involve dead Americans and blatant stonewalling.
Issa has quickly become persona non grata in the leftwing media as well, a clear indication that he has become a threat.

Sad, but true
Two candidates for the job are mentioned over and over again – two wonderful, charismatic public servants whose only problem is they are not constitutionally eligible to be president. Are both parties scrapping Constitution?
They are Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.
Don't get me wrong. I like both of these guys. If I were eligible to vote in Florida or Louisiana, I would vote to re-elect them. I would support either one for almost any job in America. But there is one job for which they are, by chance of birth, 100 percent, totally and inarguably ineligible to hold office – and that is the presidency of the United States.
Why?
Because both are sons of parents who were not U.S. citizens when they were born.
The Obama administration is setting the stage for the dismantling of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline
According to Hastings, the Obama administration has shown a greater interest in appealing to “far-left environmentalists” than in preserving a pipeline that carries approximately 10 percent of the nation’s daily oil output and is responsible for one-third of Alaska’s economic output.Northern red tape: Congressman warns Alaska pipeline could be dismantled within 10 years

Obama Justice Department secretly agrees to end investigation into international Islamic financial network with ties to Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi Prince
Thank God Republicans have a majority in the House!
The secrecy of the deal has prompted interest in Congress. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), chairman of the House appropriations subcommittee that oversees the Justice Department budget and author of legislation that created the National Commission on Terrorism in the 1990s, told Main Justice he planned to ask the department next week to release the documents. . .Remember Obama bowing to the Saudi King?
While the department is staying mum on the settlement, the company at issue is linked to the royal family in Saudi Arabia, a powerful U.S. ally. It is a subsidiary of Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust, known as DMI Trust, which was founded by Saudi prince Mohammed Al-Faisal Al-Saud.Everything is screwed up in the Obama administration.
The settlement was negotiated by the Justice Department’s Tax Division, which has been without a confirmed director since the start of the Barack Obama administration.Read the whole thing

FBI: foreign agents have penetrated White House and Homeland Security
Former FBI special agent John Guandolo says Obama's ties to agents for the Muslim Brotherhood are even more extensive.Underpublicized threat deep in White House
"The level of penetration in the last three administrations is deep," he said. "For this president, it even goes back to his campaign with Muslim Brotherhood folks working with him then."
Equally alarming, the Brotherhood also has placed several operatives and sympathizers within key positions in Homeland Security and the U.S. military, notes Guandolo, a former Marine Corps officer.

To be called a Jew, all you have to do is plop out of a Jewish womb. Because these Jews – I’ll call them here “The Plopping Jews” – do not believe anything particularly Jewish. News about Obama lawsuits
Major article about my case in “News with views”
While the power brokers who made sure a community organizer with no experience, dubious education credentials and a hidden past pulled off the election of Obama, the headaches continue to build. Not only is Obama being pilloried by independents, conservatives and increasingly, columnists and talking heads on the left, there is a major problem date looming: September 14, 2011. Attorney Orly Taitz, known as the 'queen of birthers', has been trying to get the Hawaii Department of Health to comply with a court ordered subpeona to examine Obama's birth original certificate since he released it to the world back on April 27, 2011. Hawaii's DOH has refused citing privacy issues, so there will be a court hearing in front of Magistrate Judge Richard L. Puglisi, for an order to show cause.RICK PERRY RUN CAREFULLY ORCHESTRATED BY GLOBAL ELITES?
In a separate action, Taitz has also filed a Writ of Mandamus to force production of the original 1961 birth certificate of Barack Obama. That action is before Circuit Court Judge Rhonda Nishimura in Hawaii. One federal judge, one state judge. It will be interesting to see the decisions of those two judges since Obama himself released a copy of his 'real' birth certificate to the world, how is it the Hawaii Department of Health refuses to allow anyone to view a document the world world has already seen?
To say those two court proceedings are problematic for Obama's handlers is a major understatement. For those who saw the movie, Braveheart, there is a scene where King Edward I, known as 'Longshanks' is faced with the problem of William Wallace. Slumping down against a wall, Longshanks muses, "What to do, what to do?

First Lady accused of spending $10m in public money on her vacations

But according to new reports, this is the least of their extravagances.
White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year.

...was blind, but now, I see.
Blind mother seeing anew thanks to Hub ‘miracle’The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised...
Luke 4:18
An ecstatic 35-year-old mother of three is back home in Zambia today and no longer blind after miraculous cutting-edge surgery in Boston restored her eyesight, allowing her to see her children for the first time in three years.Trust me on this: Obamacare will do away with the charity that allowed this miracle to happen on United States soil...
And so Muzmara, accompanied by her friend Charity, left Zambia for the United States last month.ObamaCare Would Crowd Out Voluntary Charity
They stayed in the Quincy home of an anonymous benefactor working with Hospitality Homes, a non-profit that connects cash-strapped sick people with Bostonians who have a spare bedroom or two.
“These are people who had never seen a refrigerator,” director Caryl Goodman said about Muzmara and her friend. “How are they supposed to pay for a hotel room for a month?”
The operation and aftercare cost about $50,000, most of which was paid for by a philanthropic fund.

Hey, good news: looks like Sharia Law is coming to Libya!
No wonder Obama violated our constitution to get involved...remember when he used taxpayer money to campaign for his Kenyan cousin Raila Odinga in 2006 whose election would have instituted Sharia Law?
Much of the document describes political institutions that will sound familiar to citizens of Western liberal democracies, including rule of law, freedom of speech and religious practice, and a multi-party electoral system.Libyan Draft Constitution: Sharia is ‘Principal Source of Legislation’
But despite the Lockean tenor of much of the constitution, the inescapable clause lies right in Part 1, Article 1: “Islam is the Religion of the State, and the principal source of legislation is Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia).” Under this constitution, in other words, Islam is law. That makes other phrases such as “there shall be no crime or penalty except by virtue of the law” and “Judges shall be independent, subject to no other authority but law and conscience” a bit more ominous.

Is this a great country or what?
So you're a sick senior citizen and the government says there is no nursing home available for you, what do you do?
Our plan gives anyone 65 years or older a gun and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot four Congressmen.
Of course, this means you will be sent to prison where you will get three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating, air conditioning and all the health care you need! Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? That's great. Need a new hip, knees, kidney, lungs or heart? They're all covered. And, as an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you as often as they do now.
And who will be paying for all of this? It's the same government that just told you that you they cannot afford for you to go into a home.
Plus, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income taxes anymore!

The dawn of "transhumanism"
At the center of the debate is what is known as "transhumanism," a term often used synonymously with "human enhancement."Why did Obama make this a priority as soon as he was elected?
Basically, it's a sort of regenesis, altering human bodies – genetically, mechanically or both – to make them better than they've been for thousands of years, affording them Superman-style abilities in both brains and brawn.
It's sometimes described by futurists as being "posthuman," what they believe is the next step in the evolutionary process.
"One of the first things that President Obama did at the executive level as soon as he became president," he says in "Trans-Humanism," "[is] he overturned restrictions that had been put in place by President [George W.] Bush which would have prohibited federal dollars, American taxpayer money, flowing in to pay for experiments to be done on human-animal chimeras (combinations) and other forms of science such as stem-cell sciences – which is also important to the transhumanist movement. How many of you have heard of DARPA?
"But what most of the public doesn't realize is when we're talking about stem-cell sciences, we're almost always talking about the creation of a human-animal chimera from which those stem cells are being derived. But now, tax dollars in the United States from the federal level are flowing into thousands of laboratories."
Commissions advanced research for DoD. It was founded in response to the surprise Sputnik launch in 1958 and fathered the Internet somewhere along the way.Find out how your tax dollars (thanks to Obama) are going towards creating a "super soldier" made up of human and animal DNA...one that the government says will require a "kill switch" since it will be immortal...

The Egg Farmer
Johnny was in the egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens) called 'pullets' and ten roosters to fertilize them. He kept excellent records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced.
This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now, he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells.
John's favorite rooster, Obama, was a very fine specimen, but this morning he noticed Obama's bell hadn't rung at all! When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.
To John's amazement, Obama had thought of a way to do it without work, he had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.
John was so proud of Obama, he entered him in the Chicago County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.
The result was the judges not only awarded Obama the No Bell Piece Prize but they also awarded him the Pullet Surprise as well.
Clearly, Obama was a politician. Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention?
Moral of the story?
Vote carefully next fall, the bells are not always audible.

The Visitor
A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in California when suddenly a brand new BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust.
The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, RayBan sunglasses and a YSL tie leaned out the window and asked the cowboy
The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany.
Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses an MS-SQL database through an ODBC-connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response.
Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet printer, turns to the cowboy and says
Then Bud says to the young man
The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, RayBan sunglasses and a YSL tie leaned out the window and asked the cowboy
"If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?"Bud looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers
"Sure, why not?"The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.

"You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves."Bud replies
"That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves."He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.
Then Bud says to the young man
"Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?"The young man thinks about it for a second and then says,
"Okay, why not?"Bud says
"You're a Congressman for the U.S. Government."The yuppie replies
"Wow! That's correct, but how did you guess that?"The cowboy answers
"No guessing required. You showed up here even though nobody called you, you want to get paid for an answer I already knew to a question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than me you are, and you don't know a thing about how working people make a living--or about cows, for that matter...this is a herd of sheep.

Obamacare challenge: it's not just the individual mandate!
Challenging the Death PanelObamacare Is Going Down
Also working its way through the courts is another Obamacare challenge brought by the Goldwater Institute in Arizona that not only challenges the individual mandate, but also challenges the constitutionality of the Medicare Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) also adopted by Obamacare.
That board will be composed of 15 unelected bureaucrats with the power to cut payments to doctors and hospitals under Medicare to keep the program within specified spending targets. Though its backers deny it, IPAB was designed to be a federal rationing authority analogous to the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), which decides who can live or who can die under British socialized medicine. The IPAB merely needs to severely cut, or deny altogether, payments for treatments it decides are not in the public interest, regardless of what you or your doctors think.
That should be unconstitutional on many grounds. But what the Goldwater Institute has focused on is the isolation of the board from democratic, executive or judicial accountability.
The rulings of this board will automatically go into effect unless two-thirds of Congress overrides them with Medicare cuts of its own of equal magnitude. The Obamacare law provides that the decisions of the board cannot be challenged in the courts. And the board is even shielded from executive oversight.

10 Signs That Economic Riots And Civil Unrest Inside The United States Are Now More Likely Than Ever
Excerpts:
#1 Going to the state fair used to be such a fun thing for American families to do. But now no place is safe.
#2 According to a new Rasmussen survey, 48% of Americans believe that reductions in government spending are "at least somewhat likely" to result in civil unrest inside the United States.
#3 U.S. consumer confidence is now at its lowest level in 30 years.
#4 Joblessness among young Americans is at an epidemic level, and when rioting does break out it is usually young people that are leading the way.
#5 We are starting to see mindless violence in a lot of areas that used to be considered safe.
#6 "Flash mobs" have become such a problem in Philadelphia that the mayor has imposed a strict curfew on young people
#7 All over the United States we are seeing that many struggling Americans will do just about anything for money.
#8 Desperate people do desperate things.
#9 According to CNN, sales of safes and vaults are absolutely soaring right now.
#10 Over the past 100 years, the American population has moved steadily into our big cities and the surrounding suburbs.
A massive economic collapse is coming, and most Americans are going to be totally blindsided by it.

UK Mayhem Leaves Disarmed Citizens at the Mercy of Criminals
Friday, August 12, 2011
By now you have seen the headlines and images of destruction: the rioting, looting, violent assaults, and arson. London and other UK cities look like war zones and their citizens are afraid to venture out, because the danger is very real. It's a view of the temporary breakdown of society. It is gut check time; a time when the concept of being able to defend oneself gives way to the stark reality that few viable options to do so exist.
Gun laws in the UK are among the most restrictive in the world. In March of 1996, a deranged man walked into a school in Dunblane, Scotland and killed 16 children and one teacher. In the aftermath of this tragedy, British politicians sought to reduce violent crime by enacting a ban on all handguns. Handgun owners were given a February 1998 deadline to turn in their firearms--and they did. The UK was supposed to become a much safer place--but dramatic increases in crime following the gun ban proved it didn't.
A July 3, 2009, Daily Mail article reported that "Britain's violent crime record is worse than any other country in the European Union, it has been revealed. Official crime figures show the U.K. also has a worse rate for all types of violence than the U.S. and even South Africa."
And the current bedlam has proved it further. Restrictive laws concerning long-guns, combined with the outright ban on handguns, leave the country's citizens largely defenseless (it was reported this week that sales of one type of aluminum baseball bats on Amazon UK rose 6,541 percent). In many places, it was reported that police were unable to stop the mayhem. As a result, panicked, defenseless law-abiding citizens were forced to flee their homes, while others watched as their businesses were destroyed. Compare this to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, when armed citizens were able to protect their lives, families, and property from looters and violent mobs.
An August 11 Herald Sun article reported one resident as saying, "its absolute bedlam on the street. People have been openly looting for an hour, two hours, and the police have been ineffectual. They've done nothing." Another victim, who was trapped in her hair salon in Clapham Junction while a mob smashed its way in and trashed it, said, "They were mocking us, [saying] 'look, look, they look scared'. Where is the police? I want protection. This is what they're here for . . . I'm not secure at my workplace. I'm not secure at my home place. Will they be there to protect us tonight? They weren't here to protect us last night."
The Telegraph.com.au reported on Tuesday that mobs were forcing hapless victims to strip off their clothes while being robbed, and described a shocking video that shows a bleeding, already-pummeled teenager being robbed in broad daylight by lawless thugs who pretend to help him to his feet, and then steal the contents of his backpack while he can barely remain standing, much less defend himself.
This is what a disarmed country looks like. This is how little is left when free men and women surrender their right to own a firearm.
One has to wonder how differently this all would be playing out if the law-abiding were allowed to arm themselves. How different would the reports be if violent, opportunistic, amoral thugs were confronted with armed resistance from their intended victims?
It has been said that, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." In this case, good men and women have been stripped of their ability to do something, and evil has certainly triumphed.
Ironically, the UK is an outspoken proponent of the United Nations' efforts to negotiate an Arms Trade Treaty. Presumably the UK's goal in supporting an ATT is to spread the "safety and sanctity" they imagine their country as having to the rest of the world. Perhaps the recent calamities will cause the British to rethink their position; we certainly hope so. It's time for the British government to drop its draconian gun-control laws and restore the right of self-defense to its law-abiding citizens.
It's time to face the facts. When law-abiding citizens are disarmed, is their society a safer one? Do gun bans reduce violent crime? Will the police always be there to protect you? England's current plight is just the latest example to show us, yet again, that the answer to these questions is an emphatic "No."

Why Sarah Palin Needs To Run For President In 2012
While always open to the idea of one day supporting Sarah Palin for President, since 2008, I've gone back and forth on whether or not I thought it was smart for her to run next year. The Catastrophe of Public Education
What H.G. Wells says in his famous statement above is quite true. History is a race between education and catastrophe. Unfortunately, the manner in which education is delivered in the United States, and in other countries of the Western World, through public institutitions, now is itself the catastrophe. Rather than preventing a larger historical catastrophe, public education is now promoting and contributing to just such a thing.Read more
This is not exactly news. It was already realized early in the 1980's (the federal report, "A Nation at Risk," 1983) that students were graduating from high school, and often from college, without knowing much of anything. Sometimes they were functionally illiterate, especially from inner city schools. Alarms were continually sounded through the 1990's, such as with Thomas Sowell's splendid Inside American Education, The Decline, The Deception, the Dogmas [The Free Press, 1993]. But now, after a good thirty years, and with some marginal improvements in some places, the general problem is just as bad, if not in certain respects worse. With some regularity, polls seem to show that graduates know little about history, government, literature, science, economics, geography, etc.
In the 80's, it was easily recognized that one problem with the schools was just the "dumbing down" of the curriculum. Less and less was expected of students, often deliberately, so as not to damage their self-esteem; and, indeed, international surveys showed that American students felt better about themselves, even when their performance was dismal in international comparisons. Students from say, Korea, felt worse about themselves but accomplished much more. This was a trend that should have been reversed just as easily as it was recognized. But it wasn't. In 1988, E.D. Hirsch published a book, Cultural Literacy: What Every American Needs to Know, talking about the essential general knowledge that education should be conveying; but the educational Establishment ignored this.
Nor is this just an American phenomenon. Theodore Dalrymple, a British psychiatrist practicing at a public hospital and a prison, in his marvelous Life at the Bottom: The Worldview That Makes the Underclass [Ivan R. Dee, 2003], remarks that he didn't know what disturbed him more, that the young toughs of his experience were tatooing themselves with swastikas, or that they actually didn't know, thanks to British education, who had actually used the swastika (the Nazis) and what they had done (dictatorship, war, mass murder). His regular experience with the young patients he saw was that they knew little about anything.
Why this has all happened is not all that mysterious, nor why it has proven so difficult to reverse the trend. There has just not been the political will, or perhaps even the political means, to accomplish reform -- with a smokescreen of lies and deceptions confusing the matter. Indeed, I believe that the system is simply unreformable, and the only solution is to allow students and parents to escape it.
The root of the problem can be summarized in three terms: (1) teachers' unions, (2) education schools, and (3) the federal government. Each of these has become its own rent-seeking and bureaucratic institution, following a dynamic, well described by Public Choice Economics, that serves themselves as institutions but bears little relation to what most people would think of as the purposes of education, let alone public education. The most disturbing feature of this dynamic is the extent to which ignorance promotes the control and purposes of the educational establishment better than the successful dissemination of knowledge would. . .

The Council on Foreign Relations is the American branch of a society which organized in England . . . (and) . . . believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one world rule established." [WITH NO APOLOGIES by Senator Barry Goldwater, Berkley Books, New York, p 126]
The Trilateral Commission was formed in 1973 by private citizens of Japan, Europe (European Union countries), and North America (United States and Canada) to foster closer cooperation among these core democratic industrialized areas of the world with shared leadership responsibilities in the wider international system.
"The Trilateral Commission is international . . . (and) . . . is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States." [ WITH NO APOLOGIES, by Senator Barry Goldwater, Berkley Books, New York, p 293]
The Bilderberg is a quasi-secret consortium of international elite who meet annually to plan world economic and political policies. The Bilderberg has no membership per se. Those identified with “B” in this chart have attended at least one Bilderberg meeting.

F.R.E.E. (Fund to Restore an Educated Electorate), the publisher of this chart, was founded in 1980 by Johnny Stewart of Waco, Texas to educate the general public to understand their government and its money system.
F.R.E.E.’s educational materials create public awareness that both major parties are controlled at the top by an international network, principally the Bilderberg Group, The Trilateral Commission and their propaganda organ in the United States, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). F.R.E.E. informs citizens how these organizations control government policies through the placement of their members in positions of influence in government, media, financial and educational institutions and industry to bring about their objective of a global government and global debt-based monetary system

A 2012 primary challenge by Mrs Clinton is currently regarded as unlikely, but growing number of party activists and old hands are hoping that she changes her mind.Democrats doubt Barack Obama's reelection chances

Palin knocks it out of the park
Hot Air: Green Room
Few people in the public eye have said anything useful about the recent unpleasantness with the national debt and the national credit rating. The president hasn’t. The vice president hasn’t. Surprisingly few of the declared Republican candidates have. The MSM haven’t. They’re busy trying to make the expression “Tea Party downgrade” go viral. . .What is interesting is how few in our national political life have put the case together, as Palin has, without temporizing or bloviating. I haven’t heard anyone else do what she does with this post.Read more

Pastor Hagee receives a bomb threat
Glenn Beck:
One of the guest speakers at Glenn’s “Restoring Courage” event and the leader of Christians United for Israel received a note this morning telling him “There’s a bomb set to go off unless you withdraw your backing of Governor Rick Perry. So I’d stay away from all ministry offices.” Glenn was shocked, but it turns out this wasn’t the worst threat he’s had to deal with.GlennBeck.com
“There was a man who walked into my church during a Bible study. It was on a Wednesday night, and he came in. He was carrying a loaded six‑shooter, and he walked to the front of the church and he roared like a wild animal and said, ‘I’ve come to shoot you to prove that Satan has more power than Jesus Christ.’ And I held up my Bible and said that this book says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. And he became infuriated and said, ‘I’m going to kill you on the count of three. Get on your knees and beg for your life.’ I said, I will not because the Lord is my protector. And he said, ‘I’m going to shoot you on the count of three.’ He lied. He started shooting on the count of two. And he emptied the gun at me from a distance of eight to ten feet, and by the grace and mercy of God missed every shot. He ran out of the building, he was knocked down, apprehended, sent a few days later to the asylum for the criminally insane. Ninety days later a team of psychiatrists pronounced him ready to take his place in society and he went home and immediately climbed the highest tree in his backyard and hung himself,” Hagee told Glenn.
“And this, this bomb threat is coming because our church went to Houston, Texas Saturday and participated in the prayer service that Governor Perry called for us to pray for a nation in crisis, and that entire service that lasted from 10:00 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon was apolitical. It was nothing more than prayer, repentance, fasting, calling out on God to help America and to help break this drought in Texas. And here someone who’s from out of state sends this threat because I will tell you that prayer infuriates the ungodly,” Hagee added.

How to avoid becoming a hostage to politicians
HAT TIP:
The Patriot Post
The Patriot Post
Greater freedom for tax payers would be seized from tax consumers, in an act of terrorism against the sacred machinery of redistribution. This mindset flows from the fundamental leftist misunderstanding of freedom. They view the essence of freedom as action. ... In reality, freedom is property. Every form of collectivism, from fascism to socialism, is an offense against property rights. The early philosophers of socialism railed bitterly against the private ownership of property. They hated the notion of a middle class with independence secured through ownership. The perilous financial situation of the United States government illustrates how closely private property rights are connected to all other forms of liberty. The less absolute your rights of ownership over your land, labor, and fortune become, the more easily the other rights can be dismissed at the convenience of the State. ... Now we are told that we have no choice but to allow the State to become larger, spending and borrowing more as it extends its control over our lives. Those who disagree are denounced as 'terrorists.' ... In a nation where the government fully respected private ownership, the notion of citizens becoming 'hostages' to federal budget cuts would be laughable, rather than insulting. Freedom is not something to be granted, rationed, allocated, or redistributed. It is not won or lost in an election. Freedom is something you own.Freedom Is Something You Own

Obama commissions Hollywood pic on OBL Raid
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 6, AD 2011 9:48 PM MST
Yep. Published this very day, written by uber-leftist Maureen Dowd of the New York Times. The Obama regime has commissioned a major motion picture about the fake Bin Laden raid. The film will be released . . . October 12, 2012.
Guys, we're into full-blown Leni Riefenstahl territory now.
Here's the link to the Dowd piece. I am linking to page 2 of 2 because that's where the stuff about the movie is, but do read the whole thing.

Update: Bin Laden Raid Story Being Debunked
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 6, AD 2011 8:04 PM MST
Via BigPeace.com, the widely read cover story published in the New Yorker on August 1 by Nicholas Schmidle supposedly detailing the entire Bin Laden raid is being exposed as a fraud. And if you read the debunking piece linked below, you will see that the author C. Christine Fair is no conservative and even calls anti-sharia legislation in the U.S. "ludicrous and shameful." If you aren't familiar with the New Yorker magazine, it is an uber-liberal mouthpiece for the Obama regime.

Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 7, AD 2011 6:57 AM MST
I received a tip from a soldier stationed with an aviation brigade out of Jalalabad overnight.
Hello? Journalists? Anyone out there?
UPDATE: The SPECOPS Chinook is a very different beast that is heavily upgraded with enhanced survivability features. It is the Boeing MH-47E/G. Boeing's Homepage for the SPECOPS chinook here. The soldier quoted above contends that the SEALS were NOT in one of these units, but rather in a standard Chinook while these SPECOPS Chinooks were available and sitting idle. Again, a JOURNALIST needs to confirm this.
UPDATE 2 (From a reader):
On U.S. Stinger Missles in Afghanistan
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 7, AD 2011 3:49 PM MST
No, the Chinook could not have been shot down with a 1980s-era Stinger supplied by the U.S. when the Soviets were in Afghanistan. It turns out that U.S. Stingers were designed to have an "expiration date" after which they became useless and inert. The seeker head of the U.S. Stinger contained a coolant that degraded over time. All U.S. Stingers in Afghanistan are long since inert. The risk today in Afghanistan are the Russian "Grail" and French "Mistral" MANPADS (Man Portable Air Defense Systems).
Following up on the RPG question, we have lost only one (that I can find) SPECOPS Chinook to RPG fire, and that incident saw the RPG shot go inside the cabin of the SPECOPS Chinook through an open hatch. It was a Golden BB shot. That tells us that the SPECOPS Chinooks are extremely resilient and have high combat survivability. The SPECOPS Chinooks are like a heavily armored Brinks truck. A standard National Guard Chinook would be analogous to a FedEx truck by comparison. You never pack 25 SEALs into one helo as a point of dispersion protocol, as stated by a reader below. I have been told that a MINIMUM of three helos would normally be used for a group of that size. And IF they were indeed in a standard National Guard Chinook and not a SPECOPS Chinook, that would be like rolling out in a FedEx truck with your extremely precious cargo.
(Every human being is infinitely precious, but we can all agree that from a battlefield standpoint, SEALs are "tactically precious.")

Confirmed: It was A National Guard Chinook & Crew
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 7, AD 2011 6:17 PM MST
From the obituary of Sgt. Patrick Hamburger who served in the Nebraska National Guard as a Chinook Helicopter crewman and crew chief. The family was notified at 5:00pm CDT Saturday afternoon.
Link Here.
From the article:
Sgt. Hamburger had JUST ARRIVED in Afghanistan a couple of days ago. Why was a green National Guard unit flying backup for DEVGRU SPECOPs??????? Where was the 160th SOAR backup??????
My God.
UPDATE: Additional confirmation that it was a CH-47 transport helo. Copy and paste this URL: www.1011now.com/home/headlines/Lincoln_Native_Killed_in_Afghanistan_Helicopter_Crash_127089778.html
What in the HELL was a CH-47 TRANSPORT helo doing in a DEVGRU combat theater???? FILLED WITH 25 SEALS??????? If the SEALs' MH-47G SPECOPS Chinook that they rode in on was taken out in the Tangi theater, where is the fallen MH-47G helo itself? Shouldn't there also be dead crew members from the 160th SOAR, which is an Army unit? This ain't right, people. I'm telling you. This is NOT RIGHT.

Read up.
Money quotes:
The White House clearly blessed the dramatic reconstruction of the mission by Nicholas Schmidle in The New Yorker — so vividly descriptive of the SEALS' looks, quotes and thoughts that Schmidle had to clarify after the piece was published that he had not actually talked to any of them.(snip)
The White House is also counting on the Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal big-screen version of the killing of bin Laden to counter Obama's growing reputation as ineffectual. Is this why Matt Damon is currently sporting a buzzcut? Hmmmm.
The Sony film by the Oscar-winning pair who made "The Hurt Locker" will no doubt reflect the president's cool, gutsy decision against shaky odds. Just as Obamaland was hoping, the movie is scheduled to open on Oct. 12, 2012 — perfectly timed to give a home-stretch boost to a campaign that has grown tougher.
The moviemakers are getting top-level access to the most classified mission in history from an administration that has tried to throw more people in jail for leaking classified information than the Bush administration.
It was clear that the White House had outsourced the job of manning up the president's image to Hollywood when Boal got welcomed to the upper echelons of the White House and the Pentagon and showed up recently — to the surprise of some military officers — at a CIA ceremony celebrating the hero SEALs.

Tip from Afghanistan
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - August 7, AD 2011 6:57 AM MST
I received a tip from a soldier stationed with an aviation brigade out of Jalalabad overnight.
"Almost immediately, after news of the crash began to spread, we were placed in an internet and phone blackout. This means communication with family, friends and "others" back home, in real time, is prevented until further notice.I am not a journalist. I have no means of checking this. But SOMEONE needs to investigate if in fact the SEALS were on a National Guard helo, if there were SPECOPS Chinooks available and idle, and what the difference in armament is between Guard Chinooks and SPECOPS Chinooks. This potential difference in armament is HUGE and could account for the possibility of the Chinook being shot down by an RPG, if that is what happened.
However, there are also chinook pilots, crews and mechanics assigned here who were privy to the details of the crash almost immediately. One of confirmed details they have been discussing is that the chinook shot down belonged to a National Guard unit. Which is causing people to whisper in astonishment, "why were some of the most elite of America's military, in such large numbers, tooling around on a National Guard aircraft?"
Also, those around me are wondering why such a large number(extremely unconventional for Seals, Green Berets, etc) of them riding in a single aircraft instead of being spread out into numerous aircraft.
Without question, I mean no disrespect to the pilots and crew of the National Guard aircraft, but the fact is that it's very "strange" that Seals would be conducting an actual mission, with such large numbers, in such a basic aircraft. Especially, given the fact, that there were special operation chinooks easily available, and sitting idle, when this tragedy took place."

Ann,UPDATE 3 (From a reader):
You are on to something here. I was in the 160th 1982- 1985 and I can tell you that the reason the aviation wing was created was so special ops would never again have to fly missions with anyone other than their own pilots and birds.
Ann, I'm sure you're getting a lot of notes on the Chinook debacle. I'm retired USAF familiar with how the system works when it comes to the questions asked by your Jalalabad contact. First, look to the Command Authority. Dispersion protocols are almost never broken except on direct order up the chain high enough that nobody could question or refuse the order without jeopardizing their career. Second, 'who benefits'? Follow the trail of beneficiaries to the incident. Tactically, intell had to be passed to the shooters as to the timetable. I'm willing to bet that there were several RPG's (if not Stinger's - remember, we provided quite a few and never kept a record during the Soviet incursion into Afghanistan) involved. Then, once fired, the shooters had to egress unseen to fight another day. Many people I know, including some recently back from that area say this stinks to high Heaven, as you do.******************************************************
