Democrats and Dictators

Here's just the tip of the iceberg as far as Democrats who love Dictators. I mean, even a pimply-faced kid in my neighborhood pizza parlor was raving about Fidel Castro (thanks to his tax-paid liberal teachers, of course)!

Jerry Brown and Fidel Castro:

Mayor Brown hurried to be in Cuba for the 47th anniversary of Castro's revolution...and read aloud a declaration offering Oakland's friendship and solidarity.

Cindy Sheehan and Hugo Chavez:

Sheehan thanked Chavez for “supporting life and peace.”

Harry Belafonte and Hugo Chavez:

Belafonte accused U.S. news media of falsely painting Chavez as a “dictator,” when in fact, he said, there is democracy and citizens are “optimistic about their future.”

Madeleine Albright and Kim Jong-il

Albright called North Korean dictator Kim Jun Il a "charming" guy and a "good dancer." Albright based these well chosen comments on the one and only time she visited the ironclad dictatorship, when she danced the night away with the dictator in a gala ball-like atmosphere.

Jimmy Carter and...who can count?

Jimmah has never met a dictator he didn't love.
