Longtime Democratic Representative's wife assaults Los Angeles County Republican's son at local debate
UPDATE: Republican opponent Merlin Froyd (R) prevailed upon Jane Barnett's son not to file any charges against his attacker (Howard Berman's wife) and he agreed.
Tonight, Wednesday October 20th, at a Sherman Oaks, CA debate between longtime 28th District Dem Rep Howard Berman and opponents Merlin Froyd (R) and Libertarian Carlos Rodriguez, Jane Barnett’s son (she’s Chairman of The Republican Party of Los Angeles County) was assaulted by Howard Berman’s wife and later questioned by police (she was crying). Barnett said they were going to press charges and several witness were interviewed by not only police but a local reporter who took their phone numbers and said that he would not have time to include the whole assault story in his column about the debate until he researched it further. There apparently exists a video of this event that Barnett's son was filming during the assault.

Linda, you have scooped them all!
Apparently, the media are reluctant to report anything derogatory about left-leaning candidates. So, they simply gloss over situations.
