George Carlin: "It's a Big Club...and you ain't in it!"

With 30-days left before the election perhaps it's worthwhile remembering what all of this opposition is about.... Something 99% of American voters do not quite understand.

And now: The healthcare plan that we should have had in the first place!

Republicans will say to Democrats, "Help us create the new insurance system or be responsible for the consequences." Some are saying the Democrats won't cooperate. Here is why they will. In 2018, there are 23 Democratic and two Independent Senators (who caucus with the Dems) that will be up for reelection––a great many in states that Donald Trump won last night! There is a clear mandate here to replace Obamacare. If these Democrats fight it and that arguably results in millions of people thrown off their coverage they will do so at their peril.

The best news here is that defunding and then replacement of Obamacare could ironically set the table for the first real bipartisan legislative effort in a very long time. The one we should have had in the first place.

Plenary Power: Should Judges Control U.S. Immigration Policy?

Federal policy on immigration has been founded on the “plenary power doctrine,” which holds that the political branches — the legislative and the executive — have sole power to regulate all aspects of immigration as a basic attribute of sovereignty. But despite the fact that the courts have affirmed the plenary power doctrine countless times since the 19th century, there is a movement underway to erode political-branch control over immigration in favor of a judge-administered system based on the implicit idea that foreigners have a “right” to immigrate. This Backgrounder examines the history of the doctrine, the challenges to it launched by supporters of mass immigration, and some possible responses.

DELUSION

"One of the greatest delusions in the world is the hope that the evils in this world are to be cured by legislation."

The end of the world as we know it

The Boehner GOP Exodus Pledge

TAKE THE PLEDGE

The Boehner GOP Exodus Pledge

I pledge to leave the Republican Party if Speaker John Boehner allows an Immigration Bill to pass the House before the November Elections of 2014.

I pledge to raise money and organize community forums and rallies for GOP registered voters for the purpose of changing Party afilliation.  We shall call these events “The Boehner GOP Exodus Pledge" farewell parties.

I pledge my honor and fortune to defeat John Boehner and any legislator that votes for an Immigration Bill in the House before the November 2014 Elections. (1)

My Pledge is Irrevocable, so help me God.

Stop 15 Million Undocumented Democrats from Getting the Vote

(1)  Exempt from The Pledge: Bills that obligates and funds the Federal Government to enforce current immigration laws, makes existing immigration laws more restrictive, ends automatic birth citizenship; and that funds and puts a deadline on building the border fence as approved by Congress in 2006 are exempted from The Pledge.

TEDDY KENNEDY's LEGACY

Teddy Kennedy's 1965 immigration act so dramatically altered the kinds of immigrants America admits that, since 1969, about 85 percent of legal immigrants have come from the Third World. They bring Third World levels of poverty, fertility, illegitimacy and domestic violence with them. When they can't make it in America, they simply go on welfare and sometimes strike out at Americans.

In addition to the four dead and more than 100 badly wounded victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, let's consider a few of the many other people who would be alive, but for Kennedy's immigration law:

Obama empowered FEMA to confiscate your food

From well-known natural foods expert Gary Null:
They also have managed, through the Food Health Safety legislation that was signed into law, they have put language of a type in there that would make it impossible, based upon the enormous bureaucratic paperwork, as well as the machinery necessary to grade and sterilize or otherwise manipulate seed to their standards, it would wipe out all small, organic and sustainable agricultural activists in the United States. . .

. . .FEMA is now collecting data on every single person in the United States that grows food so they have it in their databank. . .in case of any emergency, your food would be confiscated. All food would be confiscated.

We now know that there is legislation that is passed, and signed into law by Obama, that sets up this exact system. . .

TEXAS COMMUNITY BANK, SENIORS AND FREE ENTERPRISE GROUPS FILE SUIT CHALLENGING DODD-FRANK

Hot Air:
With every fiber of my being, I detest the woefully-orchestrated, unbearably intrusive disaster of a legislative package that is the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term is to make Congress irrelevant

"Barack Obama knows after his re-election a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them."
During the first two years of the Obama administration when the Democrats overwhelming controlled both Houses of Congress and the media was in an Obama worshipping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the executive branch.

‘Indefinite Detention’ Bill Heads To Obama’s Desk As White House Drops Veto Threat

UPDATE: Obama has dropped his threat to veto the bill and is now expected to sign it into law. Remember – it was Obama’s White House that demanded the law apply to U.S. citizens in the first place.

The bill which would codify into law the indefinite detention without trial of American citizens is about to be passed and sent to Obama’s desk to be signed into law, even as some news outlets still erroneously report that the legislation does not apply to U.S. citizens. . .

With the White House having largely resolved its concerns with the bill, which had nothing to do with the ‘indefinite detention’ provision, Obama could put pen to paper as early as tomorrow on a law that if recognized will nullify the bill of rights – ironically tomorrow is “Bill of Rights Day”.

The Apollo Alliance has now ADMITTED that they wrote the Stimulus Bill AND the Cap and Trade Bill. It will only be a matter of time before America learns THEY wrote the Healthcare Bill too!

The APOLLO ALLIANCE consists of a coalition of UNIONS, like SEIU, Social Justice groups the likes of ACORN and at the helm is Van Jones a Communist that is Obama’s “Green Czar” and head of the Green Initiative. So the triad of these groups are writing our Legislation. America, have you had enough yet?

One thing any American attending any townhall meeting this Congressional recess break should ask your Congressman/woman: WHO WROTE THE HEALTHCARE BILL? WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES?
Apollo Alliance Writing Legislation? Stimulus Bill, Cap and Trade Bill, Healthcare Bill? America Needs To Know!

The Dodd-Frank Act is a roadblock to our nation’s recovery

When you add the mountain of new rules required by Dodd-Frank to those of Obamacare, plus the threat of higher taxes caused by Washington’s spending spree, you get an astounding level of apprehension and plunging confidence for employers and their customers. You get uneasiness among banks that flows down to businesses and consumers in the form of tight credit.

The disastrous consequences for our economy are very real. . .

While Dodd-Frank does all this to harm our economy, it unfortunately fails to even address the biggest cause of the financial crisis: the government-sponsored enterprises, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that fueled the riot of imprudent lending that knocked our economy down to its knees.
