“The violence, riots and destruction that have taken place in Milwaukee is an assault on the right of all citizens to live in security and peace. The main victims of these riots are law-abiding African-American citizens living in these neighborhoods. It is their jobs, their homes, their schools and communities which will suffer as a result.

There is no compassion in tolerating lawless conduct. Crime and violence is an attack on the poor, and will never be accepted in a Trump Administration.

Just like Hillary Clinton is against the miners, she is against the police. You know it, and I know it. Her war on our police is a war on all peaceful citizens who want to be able to work and live and send their kids to school in safety.

Our job is not to make life more comfortable for the rioter, the looter, the violent disruptor. Our job is to make life more comfortable for the African-American parent who wants their kids to be able to safely walk the streets. Or the senior citizen waiting for a bus. Or the young child walking home from school.

For every one violent protestor, there are a hundred moms and dads and kids on that same city block who just want to be able to sleep safely at night. My opponent would rather protect the offender than the victim.

Hillary Clinton-backed policies are responsible for the problems in the inner cities today, and a vote for her is a vote for another generation of poverty, high crime, and lost opportunities. The Hillary Clinton agenda hurts poor people the most.

There is no compassion in allowing drug dealers, gang members, and felons to prey on innocent people. It is the first duty of government to keep the innocent safe, and when I am President I will fight for the safety of every American – and especially those Americans who have not known safety for a very, very long time.

It is time for our society to address some honest and very difficult truths.

The Democrat Party has failed and betrayed the African-American community. Democrat crime policies, education policies, and economic policies have produced only more crime, more broken homes, and more poverty.

To every voter in Milwaukee, to every voter living in every inner city, or every forgotten stretch of our society, I am running to offer you a better future. I am running to listen to your voice, to hear your cries for help. The quiet voices in our society, not the loudest demonstrators, need to have their demands heard.

We reject the bigotry of Hillary Clinton which panders to and talks down to communities of color and sees them only as votes, not as individual human beings worthy of a better future. She doesn’t care at all about the hurting people of this country, or the suffering she has caused them.

The Democrat Party has run nearly every inner city in this country for 50 years, and run them into financial ruin. They’ve ruined the schools. They’ve driven out the jobs. They’ve tolerated a level of crime no American should consider acceptable.

Violent crime has risen 17% in America’s 50 largest cities last year. Killings of police officers this year is up nearly 50 percent. Homicides are up more than 60% in Baltimore. They are up more than 50% in Washington, D.C.

This is the future offered by Hillary Clinton. More poverty, more crime, and more of the same. The future she offers is the most pessimistic thing I can possibly imagine. It is time for a different future.”

The next time you are washing your hands and complain because the water temperature isn't just how you like it, think about how things used to be. Here are some facts about the 1500s:

Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and they still smelled pretty good by June.. However, since they were starting to smell....... . Brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting Married.

Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water. The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children. Last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it. Hence the saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the Bath water!"

Houses had thatched roofs-thick straw-piled high, with no wood underneath. It was the only place for animals to get warm, so all the cats and other small animals (mice, bugs) lived in the roof. When it rained it became slippery and sometimes the animals would slip and fall off the roof.......Hence the saying "It's raining cats and dogs."

There was nothing to stop things from falling into the house. This posed a real problem in the bedroom where bugs and other droppings could mess up your nice clean bed. Hence, a bed with big posts and a sheet hung over the top afforded some protection. That's how canopy beds came into existence.

The floor was dirt. Only the wealthy had something other than dirt. Hence the saying, "Dirt poor." The wealthy had slate floors that would get slippery in the winter when wet, so they spread thresh (straw) on floor to help keep their footing. As the winter wore on, they added more thresh until, when you opened the door, it would all start slipping outside. A piece of wood was placed in the entrance-way. Hence: a thresh hold.

In those old days, they cooked in the kitchen with a big kettle that always hung over the fire.. Every day they lit the fire and added things to the pot. They ate mostly vegetables and did not get much meat. They would eat the stew for dinner, leaving leftovers in the pot to get cold overnight and then start over the next day. Sometimes stew had food in it that had been there for quite a while. Hence the rhyme: Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot nine days old. Sometimes they could obtain pork, which made them feel quite special. When visitors came over, they would hang up their bacon to show off. It was a sign of wealth that a man could, "bring home the bacon." They would cut off a little to share with guests and would all sit around and chew the fat.

Those with money had plates made of pewter. Food with high acid content caused some of the lead to leach onto the food, causing lead poisoning death. This happened most often with tomatoes, so for the next 400 years or so, tomatoes were considered poisonous.

Bread was divided according to status. Workers got the burnt bottom of the loaf, the family got the middle, and guests got the top, or the upper crust.

Lead cups were used to drink ale or whisky. The combination would Sometimes knock the imbibers out for a couple of days. Someone walking along the road would take them for dead and prepare them for burial.. They were laid out on the kitchen table for a couple of days and the family would gather around and eat and drink and wait and see if they would wake up. Hence the custom of holding a wake.

England is old and small and the local folks started running out of places to bury people. So they would dig up coffins and would take the bones to a bone-house, and reuse the grave. When reopening these coffins, 1 out of 25 coffins were found to have scratch marks on the inside and they realized they had been burying people alive... So they would tie a string on the wrist of the corpse, lead it through the coffin and up through the ground and tie it to a bell. Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night (the graveyard shift.) to listen for the bell; thus, someone could be, saved by the bell or was considered a dead ringer.

And that's the truth.......Now, whoever said History was boring?

It's time

The Time to Eradicate Poverty Has Arrived

Today the people of the United States of America have an opportunity to make the world a better place. Rather than wasting time compromising the political ideologies of progressives and conservatives, Americans could use that time to employ modern economic and scientific advancements to eradicate poverty. 

The USA could lead the world into a new era where prosperity is the rule rather than the exception.

For example, if  Americans had enough money on which to live a decent life and a million-dollar nest egg to retire on (then pass on to their families) we wouldn’t need government to tax Americans to fund safety nets like Social Security and Medicare.  We wouldn’t have a $138 trillion debt to contend with; America would be financially solvent and countries all over the world would emulate us.

All economies throughout history have been free enterprise, free market, capitalist economies unless temporarily sidetrack by populist ideologues practicing socialism or dictators employing tyranny. Therefore in order to make a free enterprise, free market, capitalist economy like ours into one that sponsors the prosperity of the poor and lower classes it has to create the opportunity for the poor to invest in that economy and prosper in its growth.

Man hasn’t had the tools to address poverty until recently. With the advent of the digital age, massive and flexible databases, the internet and instant communications he now has them.  He can make dramatic nation-wide moves that will eventually enable all the people to achieve the American Dream of financial independence. No political party or political think tank is even attempting to address making the poor rich. It is the time to do so; in the process most of our economic and social ills will either fade or disappear entirely. 

We can’t make the poor rich without making all citizens even richer. To do that requires a simple change in the way the government does business. Instead of imposing a 15.3% payroll tax on income we propose the government send that money undiluted directly to an independent unreachable trust for all citizens to be maintained in each taxpayer’s own “USA” – universal savings account – and immediately invested weekly on their behalf and under their direction into indexed stock funds for their working life. 

The average American makes $50,000 a year and pays either 15.3% in payroll taxes if self-employed or shares in paying that amount with his employer if he works for somebody. The yearly $7,500 ($50,000 x 15%) investment amounts to $300,000 (40 years x $7,500) over an average 40-year working life. Invested weekly in indexed funds at the average rate of return of the S&P 500 in 40-year cycles generates a $4 million nest egg which throws off a $33,333 a month retirement check without reducing the principal. Today the market cap of all stocks on American exchanges is about $50 trillion. If in 40 years just 150 million Americans had a $4 million nest egg the market cap would be $600 trillion. In other words it took 236 years to get to $50 trillion. It would, under my plan, take just 40 years to add $550 trillion to that amount at today’s prices.

Given the choice of becoming a millionaire without investing a dime out of your present paycheck or staying on welfare and dependency programs most will opt for the former. In this manner the Plan, www.theusaplan , will wean welfare recipients off welfare and reduce the need for excess government workers.

Millions of jobs will be immediately created by the infusion of almost a trillion dollars a year into the stock market where the selling shareholders will no doubt invest much of their proceeds in new exciting ventures that will require millions of new employees.

In this manner the poor will be helping create their own new jobs and working-life income and at the same time insuring themselves of an affluent retirement and the best old-age medical care on the planet. 

A rising tide lifts all boats. Unfortunately America’s boat has been in dry dock too long. Enacting my plan will be the rising tide that makes the poor rich as well as everyone else richer.  The country will then be exceptional place we claim it is.

Let’s agree poverty has no place in the 21^st Century.

Open Letter from a USDA Employee

Spot-on analysis (regarding the White House "Rural Council"). The only problem, I fear, is that it's too little too late. USDA (or as I call them, the Department of Rural Poverty), has already done a great job of infiltrating rural communities by offering great-paying jobs with health insurance. Farmer/Rancher kid goes off to college, gets a degree in Ag Econ, and comes back to his hometown and becomes the next USDA loan officer with FSA or Range Conservationist with NRCS because he hasn't figured out how to make a living in production agriculture because State U fed his mind with a bunch of pullusfimus instead of REAL knowledge and problem-solving skills. He has no misgivings about the "great good" that USDA does. After all, he's probably making more money than he would as VP of the local bank, managing the local feed store, or working for Dad. He "helps" people by giving them low-interest loans when they can't get a loan at the local bank because it won't cash flow, or signing him up for cost share "conservation" programs, subsidy payments, and the like. After all, he's a nice guy. Our kids are in 4-H together, and he's a deacon at church, too. Little do they know that as both employees and beneficiaries of such USDA goodies, they have become beholden to Secretary Vilsack (rhymes with nut...). And that's just chicken feed compared to the multi-million dollar loans for such boondoggles as multi-family rural housing, rural broadband internet, "organic" farming, Pigford recipients, FOOD STAMPS (48 million recipients and counting) etc. The infrastructure is already there. They just need more ACORN-minded Shirley Sherrods to fill those bureaucratic positions.

Yes, I am a hypocrite. I as a young man, I bought the pullusfimus, and I still work for USDA. But I made an oath to support and defend the Constitution, promote agriculture, and fight fraud, waste, and abuse within USDA. The best way I can think of to promote agriculture is to do everything in my power to discourage as many people as I can to stay out of your local USDA office. Don't apply for the loan. Don't report your acreage so that you can get your payments. When times get tough, don't get Food Stamps, get blisters and callouses. Once you start down that path, that "easy" money does something to people's brains, and they develop a sense of entitlement. And that's how they get you. Now you're dependent upon the Man, and the Man makes the rules. And when the Man changes the rules, people cheat, lie, and steal to get what they "deserve." Unfortunately, that's when I show up, only I don't have a checkbook, I have a set of handcuffs. But I would cease to exist if you would've stayed out of the USDA office. I will do my best to discourage as many people as possible to avail themselves of USDA "services", and I'm starting with the worst of the bunch. What I'm asking every agricultural producer in America to do is this: put me and every USDA employee out of business. If you don't buy our "products," we cease to have power. If you want the Federal Government out of your business, quit taking the money. If you want the Federal Government out of your community, run for city council and quit taking the federal grants with the strings attached. You want a smaller, constitutional government? Do what Nancy Reagan told us when we were kids: JUST SAY NO! I am convinced that easy and "free" money is far more dangerous drugs.

Over the last 10 years, I've arrested hundreds of people (USDA employees included) for fraud, permanently disqualified thousands from food stamps and other entitlement programs, and recovered millions of dollars (some of which went overseas to people who celebrate when planes are flown into buildings). And it all could've been prevented, if only people wouldn't have fallen for the ruse of getting something for nothing. I'm doing my best to put myself out of business by going after as many criminals as I can and discouraging the rest from "partnering" with USDA. I'm asking rural America put me out of business too. We would do well to heed the example of Abraham, who said to the king of Sodom, "I have sworn to the LORD God Most High, Possessor of Heaven and Earth, that I will not take a thread or a sandal thong or anything that is yours, for fear you would say, 'I have made Abram rich.'"

A Tutorial on Wealth Creation(Tea Party Pay Attention!)

According to a recent Rasmussen Poll 63% of the people believe the American Society is fair and decent. Let’s check and see how you feel about that after you read the following.

Super rich people hardly pay any income taxes on their billions.

Bernie Sanders, the socialist Senator from Vermont, last week was railing against the passage of the Bush Tax Cut legislation by informing us that the super rich, according to a recent study of 400 billionaires pay on average only 16% in income and payroll taxes.

That is bunk. I say they pay at a maximum a small fraction of 1%. Generally their wealth is derived from stock ownership and their enormous wealth comes from the appreciation of that stock(s) over the years. As the appreciation in the value of stock is not taxed their wealth is accumulated FREE OF TAX. It is the ultimate tax shelter.

Warren Buffet’s wealth increased $10 billion in 2006 and he claimed in front of Congress that he paid 17% in taxes on his income that year. He testified that he should pay more in taxes because his staff paid on average 32%. He said that was unfair and that rich people should pay more in taxes.

What a whooper that was. He didn’t pay $1.7 billion in taxes he paid less than $10 million (or 10% of 1% - .oo1) in taxes because stock appreciation (his business) is not taxed. Now through some deceptive method of computation he probably said he paid 15.3% in payroll taxes on his $100,000 salary from Berkshire Hathaway and 1.7% in total in capital gains taxes to arrive at his fictitious 17%.

Of course Warren Buffet knew as did all billionaires the Bush tax cuts were of little consequence to them. They don’t pay tax on appreciation of their stock. And even in the case of dividends, they don’t have to pay them if the rate returned to Bush levels. Bernie Sanders and all the uninformed citizens and their propagandists in politics and media swallowed this tax cut propaganda.

Those who really get hurt are the millionaires who don’t use the tax-free stock ownership route and pay these absolutely confiscatory taxes on income. They are the primary job creators – small businessmen on the way up who use Subchapter S corporations and pay taxes personally to avoid corporate double taxation. Double taxation, of course, is just another fallacy. The super rich avoid all taxation on “income and wealth.” Double taxation for the super rich is a myth for public consumption.

Super rich people do not pay estate taxes

One of the stumbling blocks in the tax bill that passed was the rate of estate tax. Liberals were fiercely resisted lowering that rate to 35% for estates over $5 million. They wanted it to remain at 55% on “taxable estates” over $1 million. On the other hand conservatives grumbled that such wealth had already been taxed and to tax it again was unfair double taxation.

Well as any tax man will tell you billionaires don’t pay estate taxes. They take a deduction from the “taxable estate” for all amounts given to charity. As those charities are usually created by the billionaires themselves they can control their money from the grave.

All this publicity by Bill Gates and Warren Buffet getting billionaires to give half their estate to charity is so much baloney for public consumption. These guys are not going to pay any estate tax; they will give it all to charity.

Really intelligent super rich people’s kids don’t pay taxes on wealth

There are a number of devices available to the super rich to avoid having their kids pay estate taxes on the accumulated wealth. Here again the trick is to transfer the ownership of the assets – usually stock – to the kids early on in life and let the non-taxable appreciation accrue for the benefit of the kids. Those assets are then passed on to the kid free of tax at death of the super rich man or woman.

J. Paul Getty, the “first” billionaire, transferred 2/3rds of all he ever owned to his grandkids in trust in his 30’s. At death the remainder of his estate went to his Museum. He personally as well as his corporations paid no income taxes during his lifetime because of percentage depletion and the deductibility of intangible drilling costs; his corporations’ share of payroll taxes were paid for by passing those costs on to the consumer and he paid no death taxes nor did his kids or grandkids. As I said, the super wealthy pay no taxes.

The wealthy make the free market grow and the country prosper. Poor people are in line to do that too.

Now you may believe as many working men and liberals do that it is very unfair that the super rich pay little or no taxes. You may believe that the rich store that wealth in a way that it never comes back to benefit the economy. You would be wrong. Wealth is always at work benefitting the economy. If it is invested in stocks – it is working. If it is in the bank the bank has to lend it therefore – it is working.

The Pitch to the Tea Party

This little tutorial on wealth creation was written to expose the poor, the middle class and even the rich to the wonders of tax-free appreciation in stock. As you know we are in a world of hurt economically. If we could get all those citizens to follow the lead of the super rich and invest in the stock market two things will happen – (1) the less than super rich will get wealthy and (2) the economy will take off and millions of jobs will be created.

In this crucial time in our history, America needs new ideas on how to reform our government. I contend that to do that we need to avoid the austerity the politicians are planning to impose to make the government more solvent and promote a new blueprint that solves poverty, income discrepancy, freedom and free market problems at the same time. It is time we focus on prosperity. Are you listening Tea Partiers?

There is a blueprint of new ideas that you might consider. Going down the path the Debt Commission and all politicians are promoting will lead to riots in the streets. Those interested in a logical redo along the lines our Founders designed see here. More importantly it outlines where the poor get the capital to invest in stocks as well as where to get the funds to pay for our existing entitlement obligations.

Rescuing Blacks from the Slavery of Dependency

On his program yesterday Fox’s Glen Beck was criticizing Democrats for the debilitating effects of big government dependency on the African American community. One of the all-black panelists put forth the idea that the disintegration of the black family may have been the root cause for the increase in dependency inasmuch as only 20% of black children were born out of wedlock in 1960 whereas today that figure has sky rocketed to 80%.

Glen noted that Bill Cosby had brought this up before but got hammered for it. He asked Brandon Brice (a community organizer and a Republican) for his comment. Brandon opined that Cosby had called for black males to be more responsible - he then made a 360 departure, changed the subject and said the following:

The more important thing when we look at things as Republicans and conservatives and when we talk of the fear of big government we have to remember that big government whether you like it or not - it’s the perceived notion that they are taking care of much of low income America right now especially at this time of depression. Maybe the solution should be a smarter and more responsible government and I believe that if that happens what you will have – you will shift to automatically smaller government because it will be based on principle. Right now much of the low income neighborhoods are dependent on this so you can’t speak against something that is supporting the lower masses whether you like it or not.

The community organizer hit it right on the head. Unfortunately it flew right over Beck’s. Brice opined that a smarter government would use principled legislation which would naturally result in a smaller government. Voila- an economic solution to poverty. That is what our Founders bequeathed to us. If the government were smaller the taxes taken from the people wouldn’t be so great and they could use that extra money to grow the economy and create and compound their own wealth.

Unfortunately instead of pursuing an economic line of reasoning Beck and the panel headed off into a rehash of the “social” effects of dependency. They eventually compared the black community to domesticated dogs who had to rely on their owners because they were never taught how to survive on their own. What a sad analogy – and from an African-American panelist yet.

The panel didn’t pursue how being smarter and more principled could possibly lead to an “economic” solution to poverty and the eradication of this endemic condition in so many parts of the black community. It was just another chance Beck missed to uncover a solution – a wall he butts into almost daily.

To change a cultural dynamic like poverty you have to have a reason for blacks to make a change. So why in the world would the black community presently vote for Republicans when Republicans have nothing to offer but the admonition to be “responsible”? Do Republicans believe they can shame blacks into voting to cut off their free food, free housing and free health care by proving that Democrats are corrupt capitalists posing as socialists? It hasn’t worked in the past and it won’t work in the future save a massive change in the Republican political arsenal. Today Republicans are not even a perceived threat to blacks as they have been accommodating blacks for years by appeasing the entitlement cabal that has run up a $118 trillion debt.

So what is a smart principled legislature? Well it is one that knows a $118 national funded and unfunded debt is unsustainable and moves to extinguish at least the $110 trillion portion that represent entitlements. It would repeal and replace entitlements (or the “free stuff”) with programs that use capitalist principles to eradicate poverty, lower taxes and increase benefits. No matter how daunting a task this appears to be on the surface, it is doable today without sacrificing the relatively paltry benefits government presently doles out in entitlements nor cost a dime more than the taxpayer presently pay. The people would continue to be paid their full entitlement benefits required by law today as they would be legislated as a “safety net” under which no future benefits would fall. .

Increasing benefits like Social Security’s monthly check from $1,000 to $33,000 seems like a pipe dream. How could a legislature do that? Actually it can be done quite simply by removing the government from the equation - by privatizing Social Security, Medicare and Disability and letting the taxpayer keep the 15.3% in payroll taxes presently confiscated from him or her and letting them use those funds in a personal investment account to grow and accumulate over the years into a nest egg. Let’s take a simple example.

The average American household presently makes over $50,000 a year. That means they pay over $7,500 a year in payroll taxes. Over a 40-year working life that $7,500 amounts to a contribution of $300,000 to the government for which the taxpayer gets no nest egg. However, if those payroll taxes were the taxpayer’s own money and invested weekly in the stock market for 40 years the average nest egg accumulated would be $4,000,000. Just the earnings off the $4 million in the 41st year would equal $33,000 a month.

Even low-income taxpayers will end up with million-dollar nest eggs and tens of thousands in monthly retirement checks. As a policy matter individual and national wealth will accumulate and grow as it is willed from one generation to the next. We call the plan the Rise Up America plan (RUA) and the personal investment account a “USA” - universal savings account. It will end endemic poverty in the black community.

RUA and the USA are the type of tools it will take to motivate blacks to vote for Republicans and vote for capitalism. Today we have blacks like Oprah Winfrey mistakenly touting Denmark and its socialist government as the answer black Americans are looking for. When the richest black woman in America who has reached that pinnacle through her understanding and use of capitalism starts promoting socialism Republicans should wake up to the fact that they need to offer the black community more than an encouraging word to be more responsible. They need a pocketbook issue like RUA. It can be the one that ends black dependency on government.

Just How Poor Do the Democrat Leaders Want You To Be?

Are you feeling better off today than you were six months ago? Perhaps more importantly, do you think you will be better off six months or six years from now?

Quite frankly, I dont see how you can possibly think you will be more prosperous in the years to come because it is rather apparent that the Democrats want us all to be poorer.

Why do I say that? Let me count the ways:

1. Obama and Pelosi are trying to share your wealth. Remember when Obama told Joe the Plumber that I think when you spread the wealth around, its good for everybody." Actually, its not good for everybody indeed it is worse for almost everybody. Spreading the wealth is the reverse of capitalism - capitalism requires that capital be aggregated so that entrepreneurs can invest it and start businesses which employ people. Without that capital formation, economies languish and people wind up poorer over time, i.e. check out the history of centralized economic systems like socialism, fascism and communism. Casting history aside, Obama is promising to raise taxes on the rich to pay for government all of which will result in a lower standard of living for us all.

2. Obama & Nancy are letting gas prices rise. Remember how the Media pounded President Bush relentlessly when oil and gas prices rose? Well, Crude Oil prices have doubled this year and the Media has nearly gone silent. Obama and Pelosi have too. Why? Because they want you to live in their alternative energy world at a price. The higher costs of that energy will weaken the economy long term which, in turn, reduces your standard of living.

3. Socialized Health Care Is Coming. Obama and Nancy want the government to make many of your health decisions just as they are deciding what type of cars GM can build and you can buy. The history of government run health care is a history of rationed care. All of which means that you will not have the choices you have now, i.e. your standard of living will be lower.

4. Capping your Future Wealth. Cap & trade is coming to a recession near you. Amidst what Obama says is the worst economy since the Great Depression, Obama is increasing the costs for employers around the country in the name of environmentalism. The problem, of course, is that the higher the cost of doing business the less jobs there are for people. Fewer jobs mean a prolonged recession which means a lower standard of living.

5. The Debt of Millenium. Obama is running up our debt like no one ever imagined from 48% of the overall GDP to over 80%. Someone has to pay for that someday. The combined effect of that debt and the taxes necessary to retire that debt mean a weaker economy over time and a lower standard of living.

Of course, there are many more tricks up Obamas sleeve that will reduce our future economic prospects. Those are just a few. All of them and more will reduce our economic prospects for years on end. Of course, we could just chalk that up to bad economics but we know better. There is little doubt that Obama and the Democrat leaders believe that Americans are too greedy. They want us to cut back in the name of the environment, social justice and equality. That is their motivation. We know Milton Friedman taught us that "A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither." We can add that they will get a lower standard of living as well.

What Obama doesn't know (or doesn't want YOU to know)

'Global Poverty Act' to cost each citizen $2,500 or more

Obama's $845 billion U.N. plan forwarded to U.S. Senate floor

The U.S. Senate soon could debate whether you, your spouse and each of your children – as well as your in-laws, parents, grandparents, neighbors and everyone else in America – each will spend $2,500 or more to reduce poverty around the world.

The plan sponsored by Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, is estimated to cost the U.S. some $845 billion over the coming few years in an effort to raise the standard of living around the globe.

S.2433 already has been approved in one form by the U.S. House of Representatives and now has been placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar for pending debate.
