Did you know...

...that Democrats voted [5/28/10] in favor of a 1.4 percent pay raise for civilian federal employees proposed by the Obama administration?

But...
The pay and benefits for the public worker is a $1.45 compared to a dollar in the private sector. So there’s a 45% premium there… If you cut the pay and made it equal, the benefits and the pay with private sector workers, it would save about $340 billion. That’s enough to fill the budget holes in every state over the next two years, if we were just on the same playing field.

So, either the Democrats are total idiots for not knowing this OR they have a different agenda that has nothing to do with being good stewards of our nation's resources...

Remember this?

Thanks to Mark Levin for reminding all of us:
How can limited government and fiscal restraint be equated with lack of compassion for the poor? How can a tax break that puts a little more money in the weekly paychecks of working people be seen as an attack on the needy? Since when do we in America believe that our society is made up of two diametrically opposed classes--one rich, one poor--both in a permanent state of conflict and neither able to get ahead except at the expense of the other? Since when do we in America accept this alien and discredited theory of social and class warfare? Since when do we in America endorse the politics of envy and division?
