By now Ben is discovering that everything around El Nuevo Rodeo, the Mexican Cantina and Dance Club where George and Derek worked, is sketchy. Likely Ben and Daryl Parks (Parks & Crump Esq.) have realized it’s better to focus their financial strategy toward reparations from the city of Minneapolis because this incident hits on something even Crump doesn’t want to touch.https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/05/31/sunday-talks-crump-on-floyd-we-dont-understand/#more-193146

Musings of a freedom-loving friend
Musings of a freedom-loving friend:
I first
became aware...really aware... in the late eighties, early nineties with the China
over seas shipping company… Cosco [2019: A Hong Kong-based company has been forced to
sell its American container port after the US government raised security
concerns about its parent being a Chinese state-owned shipping giant] ... and the
takeover of LB harbor area naval recreation center and the large Naval hospital
near 605 and Spring... or Del Amo, forget... destroyed the modernized
hospital and put up a huge shopping center... all China stuff... and
that Secretary of State for California named March Fong Eu, 100%,
so disarming and cute... and turning over the Panama Canal,
basically all of Panama, to the Chinese and pulling the American Southern
Command back to Florida... not to mention the elimination of the Monroe
Doctrine and Feinstein's husbands deals with China in huge California
land deals... think Salton Sea and mineral mining in that
area. On and on it goes... I've seen this since I first became
aware.... really aware... of the nature of things, certainly put Viet Nam and
China during WW II in perspective. That so called cold war is quickly
becoming hot... the radicals during our young years always said their intention
was to bring the war home (Ayers, et al) ... and they did.... martial law in
the United States of America over a virus... whatever it is... with a smaller
footprint then the yearly flu... it is happening.
I see all
of this as a continuation of what happened in the early 1900s, income tax,
federal reserve, WW I and II, Korea, Vietnam, all of them managed for geo-power political
arrangements by the same centralized power that has existed for hundreds of
years if not thousands... the same one's that call the United States and its
Constitutional Republic an 'experiment'. I mean... look at the internal
operatives against it since and including Wilson... Franklin Roosevelt versus
MacArthur, JFK versus Johnson, Reagan with Bush, Clinton who Bush said is his
brother by another mother... the whole Obama/Hillary/Michele thing... then, out
of nowhere, Trump... and they can't believe it... internal power struggle, war
within the government, those loyal to the United States and those who have put
themselves above it in the pay of global (read foreign) enemies whose desire is
our elimination, death.
This
'spirit' has existed since the Revolution... working to make us a colony under
what is now a supra-state world empire. This is looking exactly like Book
of Revelation prophecy... not that it is, but it looks like it... and it's all
being enabled, made possible by technology, technology applied to all
areas of life with moment to moment feedback.

now, Contact Tracing.

Masks Don't Work: A review of science relevant to COVID-19 social policy
The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.https://www.researchgate.net/publication/340570735_Masks_Don't_Work_A_review_of_science_relevant_to_COVID-19_social_policy

Keeping Things in Perspective
Maybe we don't have it that bad?
It’s a mess out there now. Hard to discern between what’s a real threat and what is just simple panic and hysteria.
For a small amount of perspective at this moment,
imagine you were born in 1900.
On your 14th birthday, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday. 22 million people perish in that war.
Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and
runs until your 20th birthday. 50 million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.
On your 29th birthday, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, the World GDP drops 27%.
That runs until you are 33. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy.
When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet. And don’t try to catch your breath.
On your 41st birthday, the United States is fully pulled into WWII.
Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war.
Smallpox was epidemic until you were in your 40’s, as it killed 300 million people during your lifetime.
At 50, the Korean War starts. 5 million perish. From your birth, until you were 55, you dealt with the fear of polio epidemics each summer. You experience friends and family
contracting polio and being paralyzed and/or dying.
At 55 the Vietnam War begins and doesn’t end for 20 years. 4 million people perish in that conflict.
During the Cold War, you lived each day with the fear of nuclear annihilation. On your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, almost ended. When you turn 75, the Vietnam War finally ends.
Think of everyone on the planet born in 1900. How did they endure all of that? When you were a kid in 1985 and didn’t think your 85 year old grandparent understood how hard school was. And how mean that kid in your class was. Yet they survived through everything listed above.
Perspective is an amazing art. Refined and enlightening as time goes on. Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Your parents and/or grandparents were called to endure all of the above.

MEMORIAL DAY: It's their day, isn't it?
Memorial Day is their day, isn't it?
It supposed to be the day a grateful nation pauses to quietly thank the more than one million men and women who have died in military service to their country since the revolutionary war.
Or is it the day the beach resorts kick into high gear for the summer season, the day the sand is covered by fish-belly white people basting themselves in coconut oil, the day the off season rates end and the weekend you can't get in a seaside seafood restaurant with anything less than a hour wait.
Or is it one of the biggest shopping center sales day of the year, a day when hunting for a parking space is the prime sport for the holiday stay-at homers?
Or is it the weekend when more people will kill themselves on the highways than any other weekend and highway patrol troopers work overtime picking up the pieces?
I think the men and women who died for us would understand what we do with their day. I hope they would, because if they wouldn't, if they would have insisted that it be a somber, respectful day of remembrance, then we have blown it and dishonored their sacrifice.
I knew some of those who died and the guys I knew would have understood.
They liked a sunny beach and a cold beer and a hot babe in a black bikini too. They would have enjoyed packing the kids, the inflatable rafts, the coolers, and the suntan lotion in the car and heading for the lake. They would have enjoyed staying at home and cutting the grass and getting together with some friends and cooking some steaks on the grill too.
But they didn't get the chance. They blew up in the marine barracks in Beirut and died in the oily waters of the Persian Gulf. They caught theirs at the airstrip in Grenada in the little war everyone laughed at. They bought the farm in the La Drang valley and on Heartbreak Ridge, Phu Tai and at Hue. They froze at the Chosin Reservoir and were shot at the Pusan perimeter and Guadalcanal. They died in the ice and snow of the bulge and the Vosges mountains. They were at the Somme and San Juan Hill and at Gettysburg and at Cerro Gordo and at Valley Forge.
They couldn't be here with us today, but I think they would understand that we don't spend the day in tears and heart-wrenching memorials. They wouldn't want that. Grief is not why they died. They died so we could go fishing. They died so another father could toss a baseball to his son in their backyard while the charcoal is getting white. They died so another buddy could drink a beer on his day off. They died so a family could get in the minivan and go shopping and maybe get some ice cream on the way home. They died so that the same family could worship in their own way in a church of their choosing.
They won't mind that we have chosen their day to have our first big outdoor party of the year. But they wouldn't mind, either, if we took just a few minutes and thought of them.
Some will think of them formally, of course. Wreaths will be laid in small sparsely attended ceremonies in military cemeteries and at monuments at state capitals and in small town squares. Flags will fly over the graves, patriotic words will be spoken and a few people there will probably feel a little anger that no more people showed up. They'll think no one else remembers.
But we do remember. I remember Smitty and Pete, and Jerry and the guys who died. I remember the deal we made: if we buy it, we said, " Drink a Beer for Me "
I'll do it for you guys. I'll drink that beer for you today and I'll sit on that beach for you, and check out the girls for you, and just briefly, I'll think of you. I won't let the memory of your tragic death spoil the trip, but you'll be on that sunny beach with me today.
I will not mourn your deaths this Memorial Day, my Friends. Rather I'll celebrate the life you gave me.

Who Democrats Kill
Don Surber:
His name was Mike. He was 93. He was too young for World War II, but served in the post-war Philippines. Afterward, he became a college basketball star. He later worked for Mine Safety. He developed the safety helmets that are still worn by most miners. He saved lives.
Thanks to Democrat Governor Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania, Mike died last month.
A reader -- an adopted nephew of Mike -- told the sad tale of Mike's death. . .

THE RIGHT (CLIMATE) STUFF
From a group of former Astronaughts and Rocket Scientists:
We, a group of retired and highly experienced engineers and scientists from the Apollo, Skylab, Space Shuttle and International Space Station eras, have volunteered our time and effort conducting an objective, independent assessment of the AGW alarm and reality of the actual threat. We have reviewed hundreds of reports and technical papers relevant to the subject matter, and discussed key issues with experts on both sides of this controversy.
[snip]
We expect a world-wide, market-driven transition to alternate sources of energy generation will be completed by 2150, leaving less than 600 ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere, 50 percent more than current levels. Highest levels of CO2 in our atmosphere have exceeded 7000 ppm from greater volcanic activity more than 400 million years ago. Naturally occurring planetary processes reduced atmospheric CO2 levels to a low of about 180 ppm experienced at the last Ice Age glacial maximum about 21,000 years ago. This was dangerously close to the critical 150 ppm limit required for green plants to grow.
We have produced reports which, in our judgment, provide a more realistic projection of the maximum expected earth surface temperature rise over the next 150 years from rising atmospheric GHG levels. We believe that these more realistic projections do not justify the extent to which the UN and others propose to manipulate and likely devastate the various major economies of the world through mandating drastic reductions in the use of fossil fuels.
The links to the left are to our periodic reports and their summaries written as our six-year independent assessment of the AGW issue progressed.
Our experience during the early days of manned spaceflight proved the importance of this motto:
“In God we trust, all others bring data”
These were not only words that guided us during Apollo, but more importantly, words that defined how we did our work. This is what made us proud to be called “Astronauts,” and “Rocket Scientists.” Our study team will continue to adhere to these attitudes in order to achieve the goals of this study.
