Dick Morris: The Coming Democratic Reign of Terror

By Dick Morris on January 12, 2021

Like Robespierre, Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden are taking no prisoners. A new Democratic reign of terror is upon us — endangering our free speech, free press, political playing field, and personal liberty.

Watch your back.

The Democrats are using the outrageous and unsupportable Capital riot the same way that Hitler used the Reichstag Fire of 1933 — as a pretext for an authoritarian crackdown.

The re-impeachment of President Trump and the banning of his emails, tweets, texts and Facebook posts are merely the first examples.:

But the threat of punitive actions and censorship in this new reign of terror hangs over us all.

The Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto, 1848 by Karl Heinrich Marx

So, is the U.S. a "free country" today?  Hardly!  Not compared to what it once was.  Yet, very few Americans today challenge these Marxist institutions, and there are virtually no politicians calling for their repeal or even gradual phase-out.    While the United States of America may still have more freedoms than most other countries, we have nonetheless lost many crucial liberties and have accepted the major socialist attacks on freedom and private property as normal parts of our way of life.  The nation, whose founders included such individualists as Thomas Jefferson, George Mason, James Madison, John Adams and Patrick Henry, has gradually turned away from the principles of individual rights, limited constitutional government, private property, and free markets and instead we increasingly have embraced the failed ideas and nostrums of socialism and fascism.  We should hang our heads in shame for having allowed this to happen.

But, it is not too late to reverse these pernicious burdens and instead enact pro-freedom reforms to put our nation back on track again. It can be done.

THE FREE MARKET SYSTEM AS AN ECONOMIC BIOFEEDBACK MECHANISM

THE FREE MARKET SYSTEM AS AN ECONOMIC BIOFEEDBACK MECHANISM
A Holistic Approach to Economics

Linda G. Davis
July 2, 1982
Los Angeles, California

Biofeedback is a process whereby Cause and Effect (information) is made visible to an observer by means of certain monitoring devices. It therefore becomes possible to alter the cause (i.e. the specific thoughts of the individual) in order to change the effect (i.e. the biological feedback—such as an illness—reproduced in the monitoring device). With practice, this process can become as smooth and sophisticated as our modern radar guidance systems. (Suggestion:  It is the measure of the mercy of our Creator that we’ve been allowed this distance between cause and effect—i.e. Time—and that this distance is decreasing at a pace that will allow us to re-enter Simultaneous Information Exchange*--S.I.E.—as smoothly as possible).

Since all products and services are, originally, the result of a single thought in a single human mind (collaborations always follow this), the Free Market System functions as a biofeedback mechanism. Intervention in this system will spoil the integrity of the information, and, since the quality of the information is directly related to its growth, affects the well-being of the individual. Many people die trying to preserve or to achieve this economic life-support system.

If this system is allowed to function naturally, it becomes a constant source of quality information—food for growth—because survival within this system demands (1) a constant search for better ideas (e.g. products and services) for (2) the lowest possible cost (i.e. the highest efficiency). A Natural Monopoly may occur, but only as long as (1) and (2) are serving the needs of the people. A Coercive Monopoly can exist as long as there is intervention (which we have) in the natural free market system.

The government of any group of people who enjoy and employ this system should function as a good gardener who, watchful and attendant, pulls the weeds of corruption and deception so that the people may eat and enjoy the fruits of the garden.

*Eternity:  Love looking in a mirror.

(C.S. Lewis, who held the Chair of Medieval and Renaissance English Literature at Cambridge University until shortly before his death in 1963, discussed the phenomenon of Simultaneous Cause and Effect in the chapter entitled “Good infection” from his book, “Beyond Personality: The Christian Idea of God.”)

Does this sound good to you?

"The champions of socialism call themselves progressives, but they recommend a system which is characterized by rigid observance of routine and by a resistance to every kind of improvement. They call themselves liberals, but they are intent upon abolishing liberty. They call themselves democrats, but they yearn for dictatorship. They call themselves revolutionaries, but they want to make the government omnipotent. They promise the blessings of the Garden of Eden, but they plan to transform the world into a gigantic post office. Every man but one a subordinate clerk in a bureau. What an alluring utopia!

What a noble cause to fight!"

The heroism of the Iranian people shrugged off by degenerate Europe

Maybe these protests will eventually subside and the people will once again be beaten down. But anyone with any sense of decency or concern to protect and defend the security of the west, should surely be holding their breath at what is clearly now happening: the possibly terminal weakening of the most lethal terrorist regime in the world which has been behind countless attacks on the west against which it declared when it took power forty years ago, which is hell-bent on developing nuclear weapons and which threatens genocide against the Jews of Israel.
So why aren’t the western media treating this as the enormous story it is? Two reasons. First, the actual threat posed by Iran has been consistently downplayed. For the west, Iran was too powerful and rich; too many people in the west were involved in making money from it, and the challenges involved in taking it on militarily were considered too extreme.
As Khairallah Khairallah writes in the Arab Weekly, from Jimmy Carter to Barack Obama successive US presidents therefore closed their eyes to Iran’s aggression and murderous attacks on western interests – and on the Jewish people.
The second reason for western indifference is the refusal to accept that US President Donald Trump can ever do a single thing that is good. And the credit for what is now happening in Iran must go the Trump administration, which tore up the 2015 nuclear deal signed under the Obama administration and reimposed sanctions which are bringing the country to its knees and helping provoke this uprising. People have been shouting that they want an end to Iranian involvement in foreign disputes and to have food on their tables instead.

The coffee is brewing, but does anyone smell it?

Do NOT miss the last paragraph:

The coffee is brewing, but does anyone smell it?
NOTEWhen writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

Tuesday, August 14, 2018
There is a socio-political revolution occurring in America. The news media is complicit in giving this revolution a platform. We see it with the revolutionaries' visceral attacks on anyone who disagrees with their positions and the media's amplification of these assaults. These revolutionaries believe that their moral opinions justify breaking the law, fomenting violence, lying and bullying. These actions are seeded in political intolerance and ideological bigotry, and they are not going to go away any time soon. These are the days of great deception and unrest in America because a major political party is become the haven of unrest and revolution. A recent Gallup poll confirms the direction of this civil unrest.

For the first time since Gallup began polling the question in 2010, the Democratic Party favors socialism over capitalism by a significant margin. Gallup reports that 57% of Democrats surveyed had a positive view of socialism, while only 47% had a positive view of capitalism. This is the first time since this question has been asked that a majority of those associated with the Democratic Party did not favor capitalism over socialism. Contrast this with those who associate with the Republican Party where only 16% have a positive view of socialism and 71% have a positive view of capitalism. Gallup statistics confirm that the Democratic Party is turned toward socialism.

Moreover, the youth of this country are steaming toward socialism irrespective of party affiliation. Gallup reports: "Americans aged 18 to 29 are as positive about socialism (51%) as they are about capitalism (45%). This represents a 12-point decline in young adults' positive views of capitalism in just the past two years and a marked shift since 2010, when 68% viewed it positively." The brand of socialism these people support is undoubtedly deeper than an economic debate over socialism vs. capitalism. This trend is particularly dangerous to religious freedom and freedom of speech. The ideological bigotry practiced by America's vocal socialists is targeted at anyone who suggests a Biblical moral code for society.

Progressivism, socialism, communism will end religious freedom in America because these forms of tyranny are based in the Communist Manifesto, which states: "Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis." Christians who believe socialism is true Christianity cite Acts 2:44, "And all that believed were together and had (shared) all things in common," as Biblical justification. Early Christians lovingly had all things in common-they were not forced to do so by a government. The very nature of communism is against God. We'd better wake up and smell the coffee, starting with ongoing conversations with our families, children and grandchildren.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Albert Jay Nock: Perhaps the most brilliant American essayist of the 20th century, and certainly among its most important libertarian thinkers

DOWNLOAD Memoirs of a Superfluous Man - MISES INSTITUTE
Albert Jay Nock, perhaps the most brilliant American essayist of the 20th century, and certainly among its most important libertarian thinkers, set out to write his autobiography but he ended up doing much more. He presents here a full theory of society, state, economy, and culture, and does so almost inadvertently.

His stories, lessons, observations, and conclusions pack a very powerful punch, so much so that anyone who takes time to read carefully cannot but end up changed in intellectual outlook. One feels that one has been let in a private club of people who see more deeply than others. This is truly an American classic.

"Thanksgiving is ours, where we give our deepest thanks to Providence for the extraordinary gift of America to mankind."

THANKFUL FOR AMERICA

Share on FacebookTweet about this on Twitter
american-eagleAll my life, I have always thought it was the coolest thing on planet Earth to be an American.
I have been to something close to 300 countries and distinct political jurisdictions in the world, and whenever someone asks me, “Where are you from?” it is a special thrill to be able to answer, “America – I’m an American.”
Thanksgiving is the unique American holiday. We share Christmas and Easter with every other Christian nation. Most every country celebrates its Independence Day, and the birthdays of their founding heroes.
Thanksgiving is ours, where we give our deepest thanks to Providence for the extraordinary gift of America to mankind.
Other countries have their special times to celebrate their uniqueness, when their citizens take pride in their country’s achievements, and all to the good.
Thanksgiving is America’s Day, the time when all Americans – all – get to celebrate the achievements of the most successful society in history.
It is a tragedy that so many of our fellow citizens are mired in a quicksand of rage and bitterness towards their country and their President.  For them, this day is bittersweet, trying to enjoy a bountiful dinner with friends and family yet unable to feel a boundless joy in simply being an American.
The last thing you and I should feel towards them today is schadenfreude.  Maybe tomorrow, but not today.  We should wish instead for them to embrace these words from one of their own:
“In an American election, there are no losers, because whether or not our candidates are successful, the next morning we all wake up as Americans. And that is the greatest privilege and the most remarkable good fortune that can come to us on earth.”
You may be startled to know who said that:  John Kerry in his concession speech to George Bush on November 4, 2004.  That graciousness is in such stark moral contrast to the deranged viciousness over the past year.  What could have caused such derangement?
Let’s ask that very specifically:  What is it about the presidency of Donald Trump that triggers an outpouring of hatred for America among the Left unlike we have ever seen before?
Liberals, Democrats, and members of America’s Fascist Left may very well be enjoying this day – enjoying good food, good wine, good friends and family.  Let’s hope they are.  We should not begrudge them this moment of good cheer.
But what has always been difficult for them is to enjoy being American, being thankful for America, to celebrate the abundance of America, that we celebrate on Thanksgiving.
Any celebration of theirs is always a yes…but thankfulness.  “Yes, we have much to be thankful for on this day, but we must never forget what we did to the Indians and the slaves, that there is still too much poverty and racism in America, blah, blah, blah…”
The purpose of Thanksgiving is to be thankful for being American. This is the day to celebrate the goodness of our country – the moral goodness, the moral decency of American institutions, American history, and the character of the American people.  Without any buts.
It’s easy for conservatives to do this – it comes natural to us.  It’s the opposite for liberals, who relish and revel in incessant guilt-mongering – and can’t celebrate a Thanksgiving with no buts.
Nonetheless, we have never witnessed such a tsunami of hate for America, its history, its principles, its very existence by the Left as now.  What has Donald Trump done to cause this?
The simple answer:  Trump has triggered and set on fire the deepest fear in the very heart of every liberal:  the fear of envy.
See, for example, Rejecting the Evil Eye (November 2004)
“Fear of the envy of others is one of mankind’s most deeply primal and pervasive terrors. Envy-avoidance is one of the most basic and primary motivators of human behavior.
Liberalism is nothing more than a pose by those afraid of envy. Liberalism is not a political ideology or set of beliefs. It is an envy-deflection device, a psychological strategy to avoid being envied. It is the politicalization of envy-appeasement.”
Winston Churchill defined Marxism, be it Socialism or Fascism, as “the gospel of envy.”  It is the gospel that Obama, Hillary, the Lying Swine Fake News media, and all Democrats preach.  It takes extreme moral courage to reject it.  For as Churchill observed:
“Some see private enterprise as a predatory target to be shot, others as a cow to be milked, but few are those who see it as a sturdy horse pulling the wagon.”
Yet that moral courage is exactly what a majority of American voters demonstrated by electing Donald Trump.  Only American voters could be so envy-free to elect so opulent a capitalist businessman who proudly flaunts his earned wealth rather than apologizing for it.
With Donald Trump, Americans chose the embodiment of capitalist abundance over being impoverished wards of The State.  Americans chose to laugh at the Left’s deepest fear, igniting that fear as never before, a fear so deep and primal it has made them lose their minds.
On this day we should pray for them to regain their minds and their basic decency.  They are our fellow Americans, to whom we should reach out to help them overcome the terrifying fear in their souls.
For if they do, they will be liberated to feel as we do: grateful for our country, for the very existence of America, for the priceless privilege of being an American.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
