Explosive Audio Surfaces – Cruz Campaign Telling Iowa Precinct Captains Carson Had Dropped Out of Race…

Here's a comment from a woman regarding the false information the Cruz campaign made on the phone to Iowa Precinct Captains about Carson dropping out of the race:

I wonder, would we also refer to the illegal aliens crossing the border as “dirty tricks?” The illegal entry of non-nationals into the United States is a misdemeanor. Seems to me referring to Cruz’ committing election fraud, which is a FELONY, as “dirty tricks” is even worse. Are we so lawless and backwards a society that we refer to misdemeanors as “crimes,” yet felonies as “dirty tricks?”

Examples of misdemeanors: Petty theft, prostitution, public intoxication, simple assault, disorderly conduct, trespass, vandalism, reckless driving, discharging a firearm within city limits, possession of cannabis.

NOTE: Petty theft is the crime that Cruz went to the Supreme Court to force a guy into doing 16 years for, even after discovering the sentence was discovered to be an error by the State of Texas.

Let me say that I personally don't care for Rubio, who is the kind of canned over-disciplined on-message candidate that makes me despair of politics: in media interviews, his answers to almost any question are like modular furniture, with the same half-dozen stump-speech lines chopped up and re-assembled and invariably concluding with the ultimate banality of the hustings that "this election is about the future". But, if you'd never heard Rubio speak before Monday, he came over as a crisp effective candidate making the most of his time on national TV. By contrast, Cruz's unfocused ramble of a victory speech left you wondering how the hell this guy won the state.

It can't all be down to ethically dubious mailers and sabotage emails, can it?

Time magazine cautions that "criticizing Ted Cruz seldom works". But, whatever the truth behind these two incidents, they are (as Cruz's former fellow British subjects would say) not cricket. To go back to where I came in, I would like to be governed by honorable men. The Cruz campaign's behavior in Iowa does not meet that test.

At 7:53 the Carson people send out a release saying, “We’re here. We’re staying in the race. We’re going to New Hampshire and South Carolina.” And at 8:20 the national co-chairman of the Cruz campaign, Steve King, sends out a tweet saying, “It looks like Carson is getting out of the race.” 

Now they knew at this point that this was inaccurate. . .

Carson's campaign admits erring by a few months on the date in 1969.

Campaign spokesperson Doug Watts explained in a statement that though Carson's "Senior [ROTC] Commander was in touch with West Point and told Dr. Carson he could get in, Dr. Carson did not seek admission."

The officer said to him, "'We can get you into West Point, and it would be free for you,'" Carson continued. "That's an offer -- that's not a non-offer."

UPDATE: Andrew Kaczynski of BuzzFeed writes that a Yale alumnus confirms the details of an anecdote from Dr. Ben Carson’s biography which the Wall Street Journal claimed to throw into doubt.


On Saturday a reporter with the Wall Street Journal published a story that my account of being the victim of a hoax at Yale where students were led to believe the exams they had just taken were destroyed and we needed to retake the exam was false. The reporter claimed that no evidence existed to back up my story. Even went so far as to say the class didn't exist.

Well here is the student newspaper account of the incident that occurred on January 14, 1970.

Ben Carson’s Progressive Critics Are Terrified Of Answering This Question

The reason pro-gun control progressives really, really, really do not want to answer those questions is because the answers are obvious. Hitler disarmed the Jews because it made the whole process of murdering them easier on the Nazis. The Nazis didn’t want to get shot, so they disarmed anyone and everyone who might shoot at them. Like most evil tyrants, Hitler preferred to commit genocide without running the risk of being slowed down by those he intended to oppress and murder. His reason for gun confiscation was no different than the rationale used to disarm blacks in the American South.

In the hours and days following Wednesday’s debate, the whole (vaccine propaganda) world has gone into a media-frenzied overdrive trying to cover up or erase what Dr. Carson said or discredit his medical credentials and reputation. Seems a bit harsh, doesn’t it? A quick read of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) response the following day gives us a hint at how serious a snafu Dr. Carson created.

Calling Dr. Carson, calling Dr. Carson...

Unlike some people, I think the Republican Party has a lot of good candidates, although I can't stand Bush and I have eligibility issues with Senator Cruz, Senator Rubio, and Governor Jindal

Only two candidates don't speak like the average politician (varying degrees of canned, pre-programmed, polished vote-getting talking points mostly filled with little real enthusiasm) and they are Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson.

While having been enthusiastic about Trump, I find myself thinking about Dr. Ben Carson...a lot!

Come to think of it, they are actually the only non-pro politicians in the bunch and that resonates--a LOT--with many of us, especially conservatives who have been completely betrayed by the bought-and-paid-for Republican leadership (Boehner/McConnell).

And then there's Carly...gotta love her, and not just because she's a woman. Oh wait, she's also not a professional politician!

One other thing that these three have in common: they are all extremely COMPETENT!!
