NRA Releases List of Celebrities, Organizations that Support Gun Control

By Michael Allen, Mon, January 07, 2013

The National Rifle Association (NRA) recently released a list of gun control advocates.

According to the list, these people and companies have given money and/or support to gun control measures and/or organizations such as the Brady Act and the Clinton assault weapons ban, reports the Daily Mail.

According to the NRA, celebrities who believe in some sort of gun control in America (the most violent industrialized nation) include: Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone, Dick Van Dyke, George Clooney and Lauren Bacall.

The NRA claims that these businesses support gun control in an effort to reduce deaths: National Spinal Cord Injury Association, the American Medical Association, Levi Strauss & Co., Hallmark Cards, Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, Ben & Jerry`s and the American Association of Retired Persons.

The NRA also listed the Episcopal Church-Washington Office, Kansas City Royals baseball team, Gannet Publications, the New York Times and Motorcycle Cruiser Magazine.

The big slide into tyranny has begun

Watch out.

It's very hard, if not impossible, to stop the momentum of a slide.

The NDAA Legalizes The Use Of Propaganda On The US Public
The newest version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) includes an amendment that would legalize the use of propaganda on the American public, reports Michael Hastings of BuzzFeed.

The amendment — proposed by Mac Thornberry (R-Texas) and Adam Smith (D-Wash.) and passed in the House last Friday afternoon — would effectively nullify the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, which explicitly forbids information and psychological operations aimed at influencing U.S. public opinion.

This is a questionnaire and the reason for it is clearly explained in the opening paragraph. (It turns out that the U.S. Attorney did not properly inform all the defendants in a legal action -- Grinols, Odden, Judd, Noonen and MacLaren v Electoral College, President of the Senate, Congress, Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barack (Barry) Soetoro, aka Barack Barry Soebarkah, Governor of California and Secretary of State of California -- regarding the electoral votes for Obama.)

Instructions for returning the completed questionnaire to Orly Taitz Esq. are at the end of this .pdf document.

UPDATE: Contact NC GOP 2012 Presidential Electors. Demand such lists in every state, demand to know if they agreed for Holder DOJ to represent them and oppose the TRO [temporary restraining order] seeking to enjoin certification and swearing by Obama in light of evidence of his use of forged IDS.

UPDATE #2: More evidence of obstruction of Justice, instances of Secretaries of states refusing to provide contact information for electors

UPDATE #3: Contact LA 2012 Presidential Electors. Demand such lists in every state, demand to know if they agreed for Holder DOJ to represent them and oppose the TRO [temporary restraining order] seeking to enjoin certification and swearing by Obama in light of evidence of his use of forged IDS.

Chrisitans burned alive in Nigeria

Christians are burnt alive in Nigeria: a horrific Holocaust right in front of International indifference as denounced by Father Juan Carlos Martos, on behalf of the Missionari Clarettiani, via del Sacro Cuore di Maria, Rome, Italy.

This is a brutal example of how far the struggle between Muslims and Catholics in Nigeria has reached. Muslims are determined to impose their 'religion' all over Africa as well as in other continents and countries of the world. Islam has but one goal: to rule the world at any cost!

And where are the International Human Rights' Organizations?

FROM: Juan Carlos Martos cmf Segretariato di PVMissionari ClarettianiVia Sacro Cuore à Maria-500197-Rome
By publishing this graphic document on Facebook, I have intended to make the world aware of certain terrible events totally ignored or minimized by the mainstream media; an authentic genocide so cruel and inhuman only comparable with the most hateful and vile acts in the Nazi extermination camps.

To my great surprise, Facebook has criticized me for the publication of this graphic document as a proof of the Holocaust that Christians have been suffering in Nigeria in the last ten years. According to Facebook's Security policy of the 'social' Network, this photo has been classified as 'pornographic', 'violent' or 'inappropriate' and hence I was disallowed to publish any picture for a week. And I was threatened drastic measures if I insist publishing any document that prove the terrible violations of Human Rights in Nigeria.

This attitude by the (Spanish) Facebook Management is an attack to the freedom of expression as much as a shameful insult to the 500 victims (only in this horrible episode) slaughtered by Islamic terror only for being Christian. I thought that this social network, originated in the United States, would not bend its knees in front of terror. Especially, when still healing their wounds suffered in the gruesome 9/11 attack, just as our own 3/11 at Madrid railway station, all innocent victims of the wild fury and insanity of Islamic terror.

This seems even more unacceptable in Spain, a Democratic state, where the rights of opinion, expression and religion are guaranteed by the Constitution (Art. 16 and 20), if there is an attempt to limit such rights, let alone through threats and coercion thus weakening their freedom of expression by condemning as "inappropriate" a graphic document (not a photomontage) which reflects a brutal reality in all its crudeness.

Contrarily, the Administrators of Facebook Spain should welcome this public protest advocating that such a barbarian act will never be replicated and that its perpetrators will be brought to justice. This is a right and duty of every citizen: a service to society, ultimate goal, I feel, of any network that defines itself as 'social'.

Regrettably, if the murders continue, this is greatly because truth is always hidden to the sovereign people, so that they may not be aware and 'disdained' by it: complicit silence by the mainstream media leads to the indifference of the international political community facing this unspeakable Holocaust! Let alone the cowardice already rooted in the western world facing the Islamic terror. A consequence of the stupid "Alliance of civilizations": another regrettable incident of our former Prime Minister Rodriguez Zapatero.

Can you imagine the reaction of the Islamic terrorist organization in the (impossible) case of a massacre of Muslims in a mosque, by the hands of Christian terrorists? And how widely would our media cover and condemn the crime and the criminals??

Therefore, from this modest blog, I ask a favor from all people who are reading me: please distribute this photo and its comments using all the media you have. If only for commemorating these martyrs since, unfortunately, Facebook seems to be on the side of the executioners by preventing the publication of such tragic events.

This (see picture above) is the 'religion' that the West supports in the Middle East. Mubarak, who was friendly to Christians in Egypt, was told he had to leave. Obama and the rest of the Western leaders insisted on this. Ghadaffi, another Christian friendly leader, was also told to leave and when he fought the jihadists, he was brought down by NATO.

Hillary cackled with laughter when she heard of his brutal torture and death at the hands of his--and our--enemies. You see, our enemies are now our 'leaders.'

Since the Arab Spring, hailed as a glorious democratic grass roots movement, Christians in these countries are being forced to leave for fear of being murdered.

Now your Western 'leaders' are coming after Assad, the last Christian-friendly leader left in the region. And you are supposed to believe he will be replaced by people who, to quote [former] candidate Romney, 'share our values.' But Al Qaeda and other like groups are emerging as the new leaders in Syria.

How can America lift her head with pride knowing that our tax money and our military are supporting the ideology that burned the Christians whose charred remains are shown below? The nation that wept over the horrors of Hitler's gas chambers is turning a blind eye to the savage murders of people who truly share our values and our faith.

BTW, I was able to verify this story by going to the Spanish language site where the original text appears (see above this commentary). Nigerian Christians have had their churches burned by the local Muslims for many years so this is nothing new. It just happens to be perhaps the first time a photo of the charred remains has been sent to the public. But note that Facebook banned it on their social media and the world MSM [main stream media] will remain as silent as the sphinx as long as they can. Their silence is consent. They are complicit in murder.

This is the way all totalitarianism starts, with the full support of sold-out media. But this time, it is worldwide.

The conditions for Armageddon--the very one mentioned in the Bible--are coming together like never before in world history.

There is no longer a city on a hill to look to for help. Our only hope is in God, where it should have been in the first place.

Welcome to the Second Annual Zilla Awards for Awesomeness in the Dextrosphere!

2012 Zilla Award

If you click here you will see that this blog -- lgstarr -- won an award for "Best All-Around Blogging" and that has just made the day for me (especially since I've got some weird thing going on in my throat that tickles, chokes me, and won't let me talk more than 30 seconds without coughing)!

I absolutely know that what I do here is not equal to some of the other winners in this category, but it did give me the confidence to post my very first Paypal button here (which you'll see top right), and I must say that in this day and age (Age of Obama), living on a fixed income is turning into a very unpleasant journey as this country descends deeper and deeper into a financial and economic pit generated by all the angry, grasping, hating, prosperity-and-freedom killers on the Left and in the Democratic Party.

I tell you, John F. Kennedy would not recognize this party anymore!

As ZILLA OF THE RESISTANCE said:
Congratulations to all of the winners of the 2012 Zilla Awards for Awesomeness in the Dextrosphere!*
Thanks, Kiddo!

USA TODAY: Health care law may mean less hiring in 2013

Many businesses plan to bring on more part-time workers next year, trim the hours of full-time employees or curtail hiring because of the new health care law, human resource firms say.

Their actions could further dampen job growth, which already is threatened by possible federal budget cutbacks resulting from the tax increases and spending cuts known as the fiscal cliff.

"It will have a negative impact on job creation" in 2013, says Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody's Analytics. . .

The so-called employer mandate to offer health coverage doesn't take effect until Jan. 1, 2014. But to determine whether employees work enough hours on average to receive benefits, employers must track their schedules for three to 12 months prior to 2014 — meaning many are restructuring payrolls now or will do so early next year.

Major gun control legislation "guaranteed" by end of January, 2013

The Blaze: Boston Mayor Says Vice President ‘Guaranteed’ Him Obama Will Pass Major Gun Control Reform by End of January

BREAKING: Law Center Warns Congress Not To Certify 2012 Election Due To Obama Election Fraud

The newly formed North American Law Center is serving members of the US Congress with a notice, demanding that congress stop the fraudulent 2012 election and advising members of congress not to become complicit in the fraud by certifying the tainted outcome of the 2012 election.
“BE ADVISED, your Oath of office requires you to act in a manner which upholds the United States Constitution, our State Constitutions, and the Rule of Law. This shall serve as Notice to you of the massive fraud which has occurred in the 2012 election. As a public servant, your highest duty is to the people of the United States. Failing to do your duty, after having been so noticed, will be a direct violation of your Oath, with malice aforethought.”
The notice lists a number of legally actionable items concerning Federal Election and Campaign Finance laws as well as Constitutional Eligibility violations that if proven, could entirely void the 2012 election and end with the criminal prosecution of those involved in carrying out and covering up that fraud.
“Prima facie evidence exists as to violations of Federal Election Commission law regulating campaign finance concerning overseas donations from foreign entities, into international money laundering and online credit and debit card fraud, using foreign contributions from stolen card numbers to finance a presidential campaign. Hundreds of millions of dollars pouring into the Obama campaign from overseas donors and all of it in untraceable small denominations.”
The notice lists evidence of blatant voter fraud in Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio, and a statement concerning general acts of fraud evidenced in numerous states and precincts.
“Many numerous methods of massive Democrat voter fraud exist, i.e. over 2 million new “temporary citizen” illegal alien voters via Executive Order; millions of DEAD and felon voters; temporarily moving Democrat voters across state lines to vote in swing states; foreign observers used to protect the fraudulent Democrat vote; duplicate voting by dual resident college students, and thousands of Somali refugee voters with DNC “interpreters” driving them to polls in Ohio; corrupted voting machines and vote counting with rigged voting machines via SEIU machine maintenance contracts; boxes of fraudulent paper ballots in the trunk of union official’s cars; and foreign contracts for vote counting in parts of Europe.”
Process servers are delivering the notice to all members of congress this week.

2013: YEAR OF THE ABSURD

Cross-posted at MareZilla.com

I was driving to do some errands recently and heard a caller on one of my favorite talk radio stations make a statement about the absurdity of the whole country hanging on every word coming from a couple of guys in D.C. who are deciding who gets to keep what and who gets stuff taken away from them to give to someone else.

Is this America?

Apparently, it is.

While half the country (at least) hasn't a clue about who the country's leaders are or even what the major issues are (Benghazi: "Ben who?"), the rest of us have spent our new year holiday with an ear tuned in to discover what the hell our fates will be in 2013 and beyond.

This has got to stop, but I'm not sure where to start.

It began with Karl Marx, the Fabian Socialists, the Frankfurt School, Woodrow Wilson, John Dewey, the Roosevelt boys (Franklin and Teddy), and--sealed in law--the two biggies from 1913: the creature from Jekyll Island (the Fed) and the income tax law.

Some say it happened with the 17th Amendment when Senators became elected instead of appointed.

Salon weighed in on this last August: Why would anyone want to take away people’s rights to elect their senators?
Sen. Mike Lee, the Ivy League-educated Tea Party judicial mastermind from Utah, told CNN in 2010 that “the 17th Amendment was a mistake.” Texas Gov. Rick Perry also called the amendment “mistaken,” as did Rep. Paul Broun, a Republican from Georgia. Even conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said in 2010,
“I would change it back to what they wrote, in some respects. The 17th Amendment has changed things enormously … [Y]ou can trace the decline of so-called states’ rights throughout the rest of the 20th century.”
Alaska’s 2010 Republican nominee Joe Miller and perennial GOP candidate Alan Keyes have also signed on to the cause.
The enormous weight of all these years filled with missteps, both judicial and political, have made the saving of the United States as founded seem as insurmountable as Frodo's quest to destroy the ring.

I just saw on Facebook that Mark Levin is cutting his vacation short to return to the air on Thursday and Friday of this week.

He's never given up yet, and I doubt he would return just to monitor events (there are plenty of other sources for that). So I'm looking for an idea or two--because I'm out of 'em for now.

The 5 worst things that Barack Obama did in 2012 (besides winning that election)

Twenty twelve sure was Obama’s year. Not only did he make the cover of Time Magazine (an honour he shares with Deng Xiaoping and Newt Gingrich) but he also got re-elected president. It helped that he ran against a man who never really wanted to win, but that shouldn't distract from Obama’s personal victory. Despite being hampered by high unemployment and a sex-obsessed Democratic Party that oh-so wants to be invited to the Playboy Mansion, he managed to become something that in post-war history is relatively rare: a two term Democrat. Well done, sir.

While Obama sits in the White House watching video mash ups of election night to the tune of The Only Way Is Up, for the losers the end of the year is an opportunity to remember the bad times. Here are a few of the things the Prez did, or didn’t do, in 2012.
