Who is responsible for letting America's first Ebola patient into the U.S.?

President Barack Obama, Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, and Secretary of State John Kerry are directly responsible for allowing Ebola into the United States, the Center for Immigration Studies Director of Policy Studies Jessica Vaughan told Breitbart News.

Vaughan points to federal law--the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)--which she notes gives the administration “broad authority” to bar non-citizens like Thomas Eric Duncan, the first Ebola patient allowed into the U.S., from entering the country. The administration took no steps pursuant to that federal law, however, to block people like him from potentially endangering Americans.

If you have a strong stomach, and a stronger bottom, you can find home visitation on pages 568-595. That's Section 2951 of H.R. 3590, the Senate [health care] bill....

The bill provides for federal funding and supervision for this vast expansion of government intrusion into family life. This is the Nanny State on steroids. Is your family being 'targeted' for such home visitations?

Let's see if you fit into one of these very broad categories:

• Families where Mom is not yet 21. (No mention here whether she is married or not.)
  
  
• Families where someone is a tobacco user. (Does this include the White House? Watch out, Sasha and Malia! Does Grandpa, whom you love and have taken in, enjoy his after-dinner pipe?)
  
  
• Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities.

As if that list were not wide-ranging enough, here's the net that can encompass tens of millions:

• Do you spank your children? You should know that HHS bureaucrats think you are an abuser.
  
  
• Do you support the Second Amendment? How would you like HHS bureaucrats asking your children if you maintain firearms in the home for family protection?
  
  
• Do you home-school your kids? Take care. Members of Congress who have tried to abolish home-schooling are big backers of this health care bill. Do you wonder why?

One thing is clear: For life and liberty, we must defeat ObamaCare.

Barack Obama, through his spokesman, claimed today that he was unaware of the tax day tea parties. Granted, the MSM has done a good job in suppressing any sort of coverage ahead of time (and the little coverage they did provide was derisive at best)… but how out of touch is the Community Organizer in Chief, really?

This much.

- He was unaware that he was attending a church (for 20 years) with a racist pastor who hates America.

- He was unaware that he was family friends with, and started his political career in the living room of, a domestic terrorist.

- He was unaware that he had invested in two speculative companies backed by some of his top donors right after taking office in 2005.

- He was unaware that his own aunt was living in the US illegally.

- He was unaware that his own brother lives on pennies a day in a hut in Kenya.

- He was unaware of the AIG bonuses that he and his administration approved and signed into a bill.

- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of Commerce was under investigation in a bribery scandal.

- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of Health and Human Services was a tax cheat.

- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of the Treasury was a tax cheat.

- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be the U.S. Trade Representative was a tax cheat.

- He was unaware that the woman he nominated to be his Chief Performance Officer was a tax cheat.

- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be #2 at the Environmental Protection Agency was under investigation for mismanaging $25 million in EPA grants.

For the love of God, there are people in comas that are more aware of world affairs than this guy!

Three Dirty Little Secrets in the Public Health-Care Plan

I just grabbed three sections to illustrate the three main "secrets"...

1)

First dirty secret of a public plan: Any plan has to involve administration costs, even if it operates on a non-profit basis. The obvious examples here are Medicare, Medicaid, and the Veterans Administration plans. Costs have skyrocketed under both government-run plans while cutting back on the benefits both afford their patients, thanks to miles of red tape handled by legions of bureaucrats. Doctors get paid less and have to spend more to invoice for their services in Medicare and Medicaid, which has more of them refusing to take new patients under either plan.

However, a government-run plan can hide those costs by simply hiding them elsewhere, in the short term. Sebelius and Obama will juggle the books to make a show of solvency while they undercut the private market insurers, who have to pay their employees to process claims, handle member services, ensure compliance with miles of existing government regulations, and in some cases offer a small margin of return to their investors, who put up the money and risk for the insurance plans in the first place.

2)

Instead of having a robust health-care system that rewards providers and insurers for their work, the public plan and its inevitable market-killing characteristics will create an artificial shortage of health-care providers. Everyone will have coverage, but it may take months or years to get treatments, if at all. That is not a worst-case, hypothetical scenario, either; single-payer systems around the world share this commonplace result.

3)

When the administration talks about cost control via public plans, they really have no idea of the real costs of health care, and the real contribution a free market makes. In this case, they're about to kill the golden goose, and they're completely unaware of it. And that's the third dirty secret of Obama's public plan.
