THE REAL FBI

Terry Turchie, former deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, describes Friend as “a model example of what FBI agents nationwide should be.”

“Moral courage, leadership in the face of pressure, and true to the Oath of Office FBI agents take to defend the United States Constitution and protect America and its citizens.

“I am beyond proud to offer him my support in the decisions he had to make.”

Turchie, who led the Unabomber task force, says he didn’t even use a SWAT team in 1996 to arrest Theodore Kaczynski, a violent domestic terrorist who had killed three people and injured 23 others.

“No real FBI agent would defend the position of using SWAT teams to arrest non-violent senior citizens and others with political opinions not currently tolerated by this administration, compounded by the idea that many of these cases involve misdemeanor criminal charges.

“This activity actually generates tension in communities and increases the potential for tragic results and injuries to FBI agents and citizens.”

Five former SWAT team members in Friend’s support group agree that raiding a nonviolent person on a misdemeanor offense was wrong and potentially dangerous.

Uranium One noose is tightening
By Thomas Lifson
Now that the FBI's informant on the Uranium One deal has been outed and the nondisclosure agreement formerly muzzling him abrogated, it is possible to see the outlines of the devastating case to be made against not just Hillary Clinton, but the entire Obama administration. Two intrepid reporters, John Solomon of The Hill and Sara Carter of Circa News and Sinclair Broadcasting, are gaining access to some of the reported 50,000 documents in the possession of William Campbell, the whistleblower who went to the FBI with the scary details of what appeared to him to be an illegal attempt by Russian entities to take over the world uranium market, including even the uranium resources in our ground.

How Covert Agents Infiltrate the Internet to Manipulate, Deceive, & Destroy Reputations

I’ve served my country as a US Marine and LAPD officer.  I was upset when I first heard about Edward Snowden.  But with each new revelation, it is becoming clearer how the US and British governments routinely attack US citizens who are guilty of nothing more than exposing the widespread incompetence and corruption that permeates academia, industries, and local, state, and federal governments.

In the story below, Glenn Greenwald uses classified documents to explain how the US and British governments collaborate in their ongoing attacks against US and British citizens.  Hats off to Snowden and Greenwald for reminding the world that not all conspiracies are theoretical.

Another amateur burglary?

...this is the only case with any real value, especially given all the trouble taken to access the office multiple times. The FBI has taken over the investigation, and it will be interesting to see if Congress adds this amateur burglary to its list of probes. Amateur burglaries, after all, have a significant place in American political history.

It'll be turn-key tyranny

NSA WHISTLEBLOWER:
Once he reached the conclusion that the NSA's surveillance net would soon be irrevocable, he said it was just a matter of time before he chose to act. "What they're doing" poses "an existential threat to democracy", he said.

There is a national crisis of federal employees engaged in the child porn industry and a related epidemic at the state level.

FORBES:
Money drives the crime. It is estimated that a criminal willing to molest a child in front of a live webcam can earn $1,000 a night...

With so many police, judges, clergy, state and federal employees across America involved in the child porn industry Americans should be able to turn to the IRS’s Whistleblower program.

Worries over gagging orders in the NHS were underlined by the recent disclosure that Kim Holt, a pediatrician, repeatedly raised the alarm about children's services at St Ann's Hospital in Haringey, north London, more than year before the death of Baby Peter in 2007

Millions spent on doctor 'gagging orders' by NHS, investigation finds: A combination of pay-offs and fear is preventing whistleblowers going public with criticisms over care, reports Nigel Morris...
Hospital doctors who quit their jobs are being routinely forced to sign "gagging orders" despite legislation designed to protect NHS whistleblowers, it is revealed today.

Millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are being spent on contracts that deter doctors from speaking out about incompetence and mistakes in patient care.

The challenge now for Obama is to get up off of his lazy ass and make a decision. The time for waffling is over.

Yes. Short answer. The leak to the Washington Post of the assessment by General McChrystal, the officer in charge of the war in Afghanistan, is quintessential Washington power politics and a major “go screw yourself Barack” by the person or persons who passed the paper to Bob Woodward. You do not get leaks when there is a policy consensus on an issue. There are several reasons classified or sensitive information is leaked–a policy disagreement, a desire to embarrass a principle official or a whistleblower.

Here’s how Woodward started his story:
Will Obama Surrender Afghanistan to the Mullahs?

Obama breaks own 'signing-statement' rules 2 days after issuing them

President Obama failed to consult Congress, as promised, before carving out exceptions to the omnibus spending bill he signed into law — breaking his own signing-statement rules two days after issuing them — and raised questions among lawmakers and committees who say the president's objections are unclear at best and a power grab at worst.

In at least one case, lawmakers charge, Mr. Obama used his first signing statement, on the catch-all $410 billion spending bill, to go beyond the Bush and Clinton administrations in swatting away Congress' attempt to protect whistleblowers.

"Not only is your signing statement contrary to your campaign statements, it also goes beyond the traditional broad signing statements authored by previous presidents," said Sen. Charles E. Grassley, Iowa Republican and a leader in pushing for whistleblower protections, who wrote a letter saying Mr. Obama goes after those who divulge classified information to Congress.
