MYSTERY: 5 Month Gap in Clinton Emails
“Judicial Watch’s discovery of the Clinton email ‘gap’ may take a place in history next to the discovery of the Nixon tapes,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Obama administration and Hillary Clinton have taken their cover-up of the email scandal too far. I suspect that federal courts will want more information, under oath, about the issues raised in these incredible documents.”READ MORE
Judicial Watch has 20 federal lawsuits against the State Department in which the Clinton email issue is implicated. Judicial Watch seeks discovery and additional requests for court relief are planned.

New evidence: Clinton White House ignored 9/11 warnings
READ MOREExcerpt:
In early 2000, the documents informed America’s top intelligence analysts that al Qaeda had devised a sophisticated plan to hijack a commercial airliner departing Frankfurt International Airport between March and August 2000. The terrorist team was to consist of an Arab, a Pakistani and a Chechen, and their targets were U.S. Airlines, Lufthansa and Air France. The document pieces together an intricate plot directed by a 40-year-old Saudi, Sheik Dzabir, from a prominent family with ties to the House of Saud. It revealed that al Qaeda had actually penetrated the consular section of the German Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, relying on a contact referred to as “Mrs. Wagner” to provide European Union visas for use in forged Pakistani passports for the terrorists.
These revelations came from an unidentified source that provided U.S. authorities with copies of Arabic letters containing precise information about the al Qaeda plot. It was all laid out in minute detail.
So, how did the Clinton administration respond? In the incriminating words of the intelligence information report, advanced warning of the plot “was disregarded because nobody believed that Osama bin Laden or the Taliban could carry out such an operation.” Perhaps that explains why, for 13 years, the report was classified “secret” and hidden from public view until Judicial Watch forced its release in August of this year.

And you thought the government was corrupt
Well, you ain't seen nothin' yet:
The Obama administration continues giving leftist groups huge sums to conduct minority housing counseling, this month allocating $40 million with one of the single biggest chunks of cash going to the open borders giant National Council of La Raza (NCLR).READ MORE
It’s a scandal-plagued program that has received large amounts of taxpayer dollars in the last few years and there seems to be no end in sight. In fact, to justify giving leftwing groups more money to counsel poor minorities on housing issues the administration has spent $36.2 million on studies, a Judicial Watch investigation found last summer.
Incredibly, the multi-million-dollar research always concludes that housing counseling is a positive and valuable thing for low-income populations and minorities. The idea is to help minorities seeking a good home or struggling to keep one on the verge of foreclosure through community groups that benefit from public funding. Last year alone Uncle Sam gave the nonprofits $42 million to accomplish this mission.
The NCLR, whose federal funding skyrocketed since one of its top officials got a job in the Obama White House, is always among the largest recipients.

Official from Judicial Watch says U.S. government apparently doesn’t consider it a priority to keep undocumented nationals from terrorist-sponsoring nations from roaming freely throughout the country...
In what it termed a reprehensible move for an agency charged with protecting the nation, a non-partisan legal group is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security has released nearly 500 illegal aliens -- who remain fugitives -- from terrorist-sponsoring countries and others known to present a danger to the U.S.Illegal aliens from terrorist nations released in U.S. by DHS
A conservative news web site, CNS.com, had obtained government records under the Freedom of Information Act. The records show that, the Department of Homeland Security caught and released 481 illegal aliens from nations designated by the State Department as sponsors of terrorism or “countries of interest.”
According to legal eagles at Judicial Watch, these dangerous illegal aliens remain fugitives whose whereabouts are unknown, as proven by Immigration and Customs Enforcement's own database accessed by the news group. All came from four nations that sponsor terrorism -- Iran, Syria, Sudan and Cuba -- or countries determined by the U.S. government to present a threat. Those include Afghanistan, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Yemen.

Judicial Watch Uncovers New Documents Detailing Mexican Government Incursions
U.S. Border Patrol Agents Subjected to 528 Assaults from January – June 2008, Statistics Show U.S. Border Incursions on the Rise in 2008 and 2009
Contact Information: Press Office 202-646-5172, ext 305
(Washington, DC)
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that on March 22, 2010, it received records from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) concerning Mexican Government incursions and encounters along the U.S. border. The documents which are incomplete and do not contain all of the relevant data nonetheless indicate an increase in the number of incursions in 2008 and 2009. Judicial Watch’s analysis of the data shows:
•76 Mexican Government incursions from January 2008 to December 2009 (data missing from February 2009)
•50 Mexican Government incursions in 2008 alone, which is double the number of incursions from the previous year
•528 assaults against CBP agents from January – June 2008
•11 assaults against National Guard agents with CBP from January – June 2008
CBP statistics obtained previously by Judicial Watch confirmed 25 incursions in Fiscal Year 2007. Judicial Watch has documented 226 Mexican Government incursions between 1996 and 2005.
CBP also records the number of tunnels discovered along the border which are allegedly used for smuggling and human trafficking. In 2008 alone, CBP discovered 25 of these tunnels. Overall, between 1990 and March 2009, CBP discovered 103 tunnels along U.S. borders – one along the U.S border with Canada and 102 along the U.S. border with Mexico.
The documents obtained by Judicial Watch from the CBP are missing large amounts of data. Through the Freedom of Information Act Judicial Watch requested incursion and encounter reports from January 2008 to present. However, CBP provided full statistical reports for the first six months of 2008 only. The remaining reports only include the numbers of incursions. Moreover, data for February 2009 is missing entirely. Judicial Watch has filed an appeal with CBP to obtain the missing information.
“President Obama and the federal government continue to be derelict in securing the nation’s southern border. These new government documents depict a chaotic and dangerous situation for our nation’s Border Patrol agents – and for border states such as Arizona,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
Previous Mexican Government incursion documents obtained by Judicial Watch describe incidents involving shots fired on both sides of the border, unmarked helicopters invading U.S. airspace, drug smuggling, and confrontations between U.S. Border Patrol agents and members of the Mexican military.

Judicial Watch Poll Shows Deep Divide Between Obama and Likely Voters
President Obama may have given himself "a solid B+" grade the other day for his performance during his first year in office, but neither he (nor Congress) scored anywhere near that high with the American people.
Earlier this week, Judicial Watch released the shocking results of a new nationwide survey conducted in partnership with SurveyUSA concerning the American people's attitudes on a variety of subjects, including President Obama's job performance, healthcare, political corruption, transparency, ACORN, illegal immigration, and climate change. (The poll was conducted December 11-14, 2009.)
Check out some of these highlights. (And click here for the complete results, including information by age, race, party, etc.)
•A majority of likely voters (58%) believe decisions by the Obama administration are "Bad for America." (37% say these decisions have been "Good for America.") And most Americans (56%) believe Obama's administration is too secretive.
•A majority of likely voters believe that government is too big (64%) and that bigger government leads to more corruption (62%). The vast majority of likely voters (72%) believe political corruption played a "major role" in the financial crisis. (President Obama recently suggested "fat cat bankers" were the chief cause of the crisis.)
•A majority of likely voters (56%) say the government is operating in a manner "Out Of Line" with the U.S. Constitution. In fact, a majority think shrinking the size of government by 25% would be good for America (and not many think increasing government by 25% would be good for America!)
•Sure enough, most Americans (62%) believe increasing government's role in healthcare will lead to more corruption in the healthcare system.
•A majority of likely voters (59%) disapprove of the way the Obama administration is handling illegal immigration. An even greater majority (69%) disapprove of the way Congress is handling illegal immigration.
•The vast majority (77%) of likely voters are opposed to local governments providing sanctuary to illegal aliens, and a majority (61%) want local law enforcement to be more involved in enforcing immigration laws. Also a majority (59%) oppose local governments using tax dollars to support sites for day laborers who are seeking work.
•Among likely voters, 56% have a negative view of ACORN, only 8% have a favorable opinion, giving ACORN a net favorability rating of minus 48.
•More likely voters believe global warming scientific data is "mostly falsified" (49%) than believe this data to be "mostly genuine" (41%).
On virtually every single issue polled the Obama administration appears to be completely out of step with the majority view of the American people. President Obama's advisors ought to take note when nearly 6 out 10 voters say that the administration's policies are bad for America! Frankly, these poll results suggest that President Obama and many other politicians ought to rethink their approach to government.

Judicial Watch: Clinton Ineligible for Secretary of State!
Judicial Watch Announces Hillary Clinton Constitutionally Ineligible to Serve as Secretary of State
Contact:
Press Office 202-646-5188
Washington, DC -- December 2, 2008
Ineligibility Clause of Constitution Prohibits Clinton Appointment
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is constitutionally ineligible to serve as Secretary of State in the Obama administration.
According to the Ineligibility Clause of the United States Constitution, no member of Congress can be appointed to an office that has benefited from a salary increase during the time that Senator or Representative served in Congress. A January 2008 Executive Order signed by President Bush during Hillary Clinton's current Senate term increased the salary for Secretary of State, thereby rendering Senator Clinton ineligible for the position.
Specifically, Article I, section 6 of the U.S. Constitution provides "No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time." The provision is seen by most as designed by our Founding Fathers to protect against corruption.
Former President Richard Nixon circumvented this constitutional provision after appointing former Ohio Senator William Saxbe to the position of Attorney General. The Nixon administration managed to force legislation through Congress to reduce the salary for the position of Attorney General to the level that existed prior to Senator Saxbe's appointment. This scheme, known thereafter as "The Saxbe Fix," was also used to allow Senator Lloyd Bentsen to assume the position of Treasury Secretary under President Clinton.
"The Saxbe Fix" may reduce the salary of Secretary of State to previous levels, but it does not affect what is a clear constitutional prohibition. It cannot change the fact that the salary had been increased while Senator Clinton served in Congress. (President Ronald Reagan reportedly did not appoint Senator Orrin Hatch to the Supreme Court because of this provision.) Simply put, the Constitution does not provide for a legislative remedy for the Ineligibility Clause.
"There's no getting around the Constitution's Ineligibility Clause, so Hillary Clinton is prohibited from serving in the Cabinet until at least 2013, when her current term expires," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "Barack Obama should select someone who is eligible for the position of Secretary of State and save the country from a constitutional battle over Hillary Clinton's confirmation. No public official who has taken the oath to support and defend the Constitution should support this appointment. And aside from the constitutional issue, Hillary Clinton's long track record of corruption makes her a terrible choice to serve as the nation's top diplomat."
