Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court determines “murder, imprisonment, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, persecution against an identifiable group, enforced disappearance of persons, and other inhumane acts intentionally causing great suffering” are “crimes against humanity.”

The report said Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court determines “murder, imprisonment, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, persecution against an identifiable group, enforced disappearance of persons, and other inhumane acts intentionally causing great suffering” are “crimes against humanity.”

To start, team led by ELNET-Israeli board member Sarah Feinberg has been joined by dozens of leading French intellectuals calling for the massacre of some 1,200-1,400 Israelis to be recognized as crimes against humanity.

They are asking for groups such as the Human Rights Council, the U.N., and others, to pass resolutions regarding Hamas’ war crimes.

A report from Just the News outlined the evidence that already is being documented for what could end up being a Nuremberg trials-like prosecution of those who inflicted horrors on men, women and children.

There is as much evidence against Assad as there was against the Nazis

On arrival at Assad’s prisons Khalifa describes a “welcoming party”—a beating—that some detainees do not survive. The cells are overcrowded and squalid. Access to water and basic hygiene needs is severely restricted. Food is minimal and sometimes withheld altogether. When food is served it is dumped on the floor and prisoners whipped as they try to retrieve it; if they stumble they might be beaten to death.

When prisoners are allowed into the yard, they are assaulted and forced to assault each other, sometimes sexually. All of this is accompanied by verbal degradation at all opportunities. The humiliation and dehumanisation is total, reinforcing to prisoners how cheaply the authorities view life and how close death is at all times.

Fidel Castro helped train and fund practically every terror group on earth, from the Weathermen to Puerto Rico’s Macheteros, from Argentina’s Montoneros, to Colombia’s FARC, from the Black Panthers to the IRA and from the PLO to AL Fatah.

Fidel Castro jailed and tortured political prisoners at a higher rate than Stalin during the Great Terror. He murdered more Cubans in his first three years in power than Hitler murdered Germans during his first six. . .As seen from the quotes below, the propaganda services by much of the mainstream media for the Castro regime continues apace—despite half a century of terror-sponsorship, mass-murder, and mass-torture by the object of their adulation.

Castro's most famous victim warns YOU

Armando Valladares may not have been the first man to challenge the Cuban dictator, but he eventually became the best known:
“I spent eight years locked in a blackout cell, without sunlight or even artificial light. I never left. I was stuck in a cell, ten feet long, four feet wide, with a hole in the corner to take care of my bodily needs. No running water. Naked. Eight years,” Valladares recalled. “All of the torture, all of the violations of human rights, had one goal: break the prisoner’s resistance and make them accept political rehabilitation. That was their only objective.”
The most important advice from someone who's freedom was taken away:
...in his speech last year to the Becket Fund, he stressed that his experience had taught him the need for vigilance in defense of freedom: Just as there is a very short distance between the U.S. and Cuba, there is a very short distance between a democracy and a dictatorship where the government gets to decide what to do, how to think, and how to live. And sometimes your freedom is not taken away at gunpoint but instead it is done one piece of paper at a time, one seemingly meaningless rule at a time, one small silencing at a time. Never allow the government — or anyone else — to tell you what you can or cannot believe or what you can and cannot say or what your conscience tells you to have to do or not do.

The other side of the story - UPDATES

Just watched the PBS documentary "Hiroshima" about how horrible the U.S. is for nuking those nice Japanese in WWII.
Awwww those poor snowflakes!

No mention of the vivisection the Japanese practiced on American POWs and Chinese civilians just to do torture experiments on them. No mention how these "surgeries" were performed sans anesthesia and done in a way to keep the victim alive, conscious and feeling every tear, cut, laceration, gut, disembowelment, castration, eyeball extraction and amputation so that the victim would not die until every possible agony was prolonged to the maximum extent.

No mention of the humiliations and agonies unleashed on our soldiers unlucky enough to fall into Japanese custody in the pacific war.

No one mentioned how the nuclear detonation led to the end of the Japanese imperial dynasty which, had it survived, would likely resemble the repression of the regime of modern North Korea but because of its destruction, the Japanese people from the end of WWII to today into the foreseeable future essentially lived and continue to live in freedom and liberty.

Instead of hating us for the bomb, the Japanese should thank us. It saved their nation from total annihilation that a full scale invasion and American victory would have resulted in. It also saved them from the totalitarianism their own government imposed on them and would have continued imposing if God forbid they were victorious against us.

All I can say to the people of Japan is "you're welcome."

Sometimes life makes us make tough choices and given the alternatives, the Japanese got off on the cheap.

PBS sucks for telling so much less than the whole story. Shame on them for telling almost none of it. I'm sure the victims of the bomb had a time that really sucked but the fault lies entirely on the side of the Japanese government. Not America for doing all it could do to defeat what was up to that time, one of the two most barbaric regimes in human history.
UPDATE:

This was a comment on Ari David's Facebook post:
Most people have never heard of the Japanese unit 731, and their horrendous undertakings ....

UPDATE #2:

In December of 1937, the Japanese Imperial Army marched into China's capital city of Nanking and proceeded to murder 300,000 out of 600,000 civilians and soldiers in the city. The six weeks of carnage would become known as the Rape of Nanking and represented the single worst atrocity during the World War II era in either the European or Pacific theaters of war.

5-year-old Christian boy cut in half by ISIS

“I’m almost in tears because I’ve just had somebody in my room whose little child was cut in half,” he said. “I baptized his child in my church in Baghdad. This little boy, they named him after me – he was called Andrew.” One of a now endless parade of barbarian acts, inhumanity and unspeakable horror committed in the name of Allah.
The Catholic.org report said the images and videos are made and distributed “to intimidate others.” One showed blood gushing from a woman whose throat was slit. Another was of a “distraught father in Syria” holding the body of his decapitated daughter, who was executed because she was of a Christian family.

Christians Are Being Burned Alive, Beheaded, Crucified, Tortured To Death And Imprisoned In Metal Shipping Containers

The “coming persecution of Christians” has already begun. It is already here. So why is the mainstream media in the United States almost totally silent about this phenomenon?

Guess who was just pardoned by the new president of Egypt?

Sultan Knish
As they ran past a Japanese tourist, she said, one of the men fired into the woman’s face from a range of about 15 inches.

“They made us get down on our knees,” Ms Dousse said. “And then they started shooting. A man who was very heavy fell on me and the lady behind me also covered me … They shot me in the arm and leg, and then they started again shooting those who were still alive in the head.

The gunmen “took all the young women, the girls, and disappeared with them. I don’t know where they went with the women, but they hurt them. We could hear screams of pain,” Dousse said.

“It went on for a long time, an hour or an hour and a half. The terrorists came back again and again; they danced and sang,” she said.

Among the horrors, the marauders cut off the ears and noses of several of their victims. A note praising Islam was found inside one disemboweled body.

The foreign dead included 31 Swiss, 10 Japanese, five Germans, four Britons one a child a Bulgarian, a Colombian and a French citizen. The Japanese victims were four newlywed couples and an elderly couple on their second honeymoon.
The man who ordered that atrocity, Mustafa Hamza was just pardoned by Mohammed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt.

Islam promotes the hatred and torture of dogs

How can a dog tell the difference between a Muslim and a non-Muslim even when there are no racial or ethnic differences? There may be no physical differences, but there are moral ones. It may be the casual cruelty that Islam inculcates in its followers that is as visible in the body language and attitude to a sensitive animal-- as a gun is to an airport metal detector.

BLIND POST: China’s Barbaric Cruelty to Animals

This troubling and shocking article has been written as an exclusive for VFR. It could be subtitled: A Dog’s View of Multicultural Relativism.
China’s Cruelty by Spencer Warren.

I'm sorry: I can't read it. I'm posting it as a public service, but I haven't read it. Just can't.

There have been some things I've read in the past about animals that have left me completely dysfunctional for days/weeks. I hate to even bring it up because whatever it is that I've "been through" was NOTHING compared to the real suffering of the animals.

BTW, I also feel this way about cruelty to children...and cruelty, period. But there is something about the helplessness and dependency of animals and children that makes it even worse.

Every liberal jihad apologist should be FORCED to watch this video

THE JAWA REPORT
Warning! the video is very graphic. But the Muslims seem to get off on it. Especially at the end when the "executioner" resorts to swinging his knife because he has trouble getting through the spine.

I'm not kidding please do not watch unless you are over 18. Graphic beheading, uncensored Islamic savagery.

Please keep up your prayers for Said Musa...

Even if the authorities decide to release him, he will be in a precarious situation. His conversion [to Christianity] is now national news in Afghanistan. When/if he is released, he will be exposed to a great many people outside of prison who might try to kill him for his Christian faith. So pray for Said and for a speedy reunion with his family. Pray that he would be a faithful witness for Christ no matter what happens.

When you are finished praying, it will not hurt to send up another Tweet to @BarackObama on Said’s behalf. Here are two messages that you might consider...
Update on Said Musa

From a comment:
One of our church members is a former Muslim who converted to Christianity through the witness of an underground church in a closed middle eastern country. He escaped after enduring much persecution, including multiple beatings and a year in prison. The stories that he tells of what happens to Christians in his country are horrific. He escaped only with scars and the loss of his possessions, but others continue to face death, torture, paralyzation, and much more. In addition to praying for Said Musa, please pray for these many Christians who are persecuted without media coverage.

A Hidden History of Evil

In the world’s collective consciousness, the word “Nazi” is synonymous with evil. It is widely understood that the Nazis’ ideology—nationalism, anti-Semitism, the autarkic ethnic state, the Führer principle—led directly to the furnaces of Auschwitz. It is not nearly as well understood that Communism led just as inexorably, everywhere on the globe where it was applied, to starvation, torture, and slave-labor camps. Nor is it widely acknowledged that Communism was responsible for the deaths of some 150 million human beings during the twentieth century. The world remains inexplicably indifferent and uncurious about the deadliest ideology in history.
This is very interesting to those of us who were old enough to take notice:
...the documents cast Gorbachev in a far darker light than the one in which he is generally regarded. In one document, he laughs with the Politburo about the USSR’s downing of Korean Airlines flight 007 in 1983—a crime that was not only monstrous but brought the world very near to nuclear Armageddon. These minutes from a Politburo meeting on October 4, 1989, are similarly disturbing:

Lukyanov reports that the real number of casualties on Tiananmen Square was 3,000.

Gorbachev: We must be realists. They, like us, have to defend themselves. Three thousands . . . So what?
And this is so typical, but, still heartbreaking:
And what of Zagladin’s description of his dealings with our own current vice president in 1979?
Unofficially, [Senator Joseph] Biden and [Senator Richard] Lugar said that, in the end of the day, they were not so much concerned with having a problem of this or that citizen solved as with showing to the American public that they do care for “human rights.” . . . In other words, the collocutors directly admitted that what is happening is a kind of a show, that they absolutely do not care for the fate of most so-called dissidents.
Remarkably, the world has shown little interest in the unread Soviet archives. That paragraph about Biden is a good example. Stroilov and Bukovsky coauthored a piece about it for the online magazine FrontPage on October 10, 2008; it passed without remark. Americans considered the episode so uninteresting that even Biden’s political opponents didn’t try to turn it into political capital. Imagine, if you can, what it must feel like to have spent the prime of your life in a Soviet psychiatric hospital, to know that Joe Biden is now vice president of the United States, and to know that no one gives a damn.
Why doesn’t anyone care about the unread Soviet archives?
