America’s Biggest Banks Lost More Than 50 billion Dollars In A Single Day

Yesterday some of the biggest banks in this country – Wells Fargo, Bank of America, JP Moragn Chase, Morgan Stanley – collectively lost more than 50 billion dollars collectively yesterday alone.

But no one in media and government have barely remarked. It’s all racial equity, inclusion and climate. The emperors not so new clothes. . .

How Chuck Schumer Caused the Second Largest Bank Failure in US History

During the big New York Times interview with President Elect Donald Trump today (whom I support), political correspondent Maggie Haberman tweeted: "Paul Ryan, right now, loves me. Mitch McConnell loves me," Trump says. Then says, "I've liked Chuck Schumer for a long time."

My family had money at IndyMac, and so I have NEVER liked Chuck Schumer!
Federal officials aren’t supposed to cause bank runs. In fact, much of the New Deal bank regulatory apparatus was set up for the purpose of eliminating such panics. When FDR was hit with a massive set of bank runs shortly after taking office, he gave an address in order to calm terrified depositors, assuring them that the banks would reopen shortly, and that everything would be fine. Investigation into Obama administration and Wall Street bailout of Chicago's Shorebank

Wow...Obama and Kenya (again)!
Writer Michelle Malkin points out a very close tie between Shorebank and Obama: a video of Obama visiting Kenya in 2006 in which Shorebank is depicted as a model for a program to make small loans to poor people in Kenya. In the video, Obama makes promises of U.S. economic help to Kenya. The video does not explain why Obama and his wife chose to visit Kenya at that time over all of the other poor African countries.

Another lesson that federal guarantees aren't free...

Americans are about to re-learn that bank deposit insurance isn't free, even as Washington is doing its best to delay the coming bailout. The banking system and the federal fisc would both be better off in the long run if the political class owned up to the reality.

We're referring to the federal deposit insurance fund, which has been shrinking faster than reservoirs in the California drought.
