From a REAL preacher!

From a friend of a  Facebook friend, Patrick D. Hampton, who makes incredibly awesome points in this very conservative opinion piece.
I’ve added new friends and some are shocked about my stance against the sins of the LGBT movement. Let me warn you, I'm very judgmental.(1 Corinthians 2:15) In these last days being judgmental is the only way to make a clear distinction between good and evil. New people. Please take note of my belief and delete yourself if you are triggered.
I'm an Adamant Believer in Jesus Christ.
I believe the bible is the inspired WORD OF GOD.
I’m a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I don’t preach on FB. I preach in real life.
I'm a Conservative.
I vote for Republicans and Independents.
I will never vote for a Democrat again.

I'm not African American. I'm American.
American Republicans abolished slavery.
I'm a Patriot.
I have one wife for life that I love dearly. I have four boys by the one wife I have for life.
I love baseball.
I'm against the LGBT, gay marriage, abortion, Obamacare, big govt. and entitlement culture.
I’m against black nationalists and white nationalists. Both are full of hate.
I did not vote for Barack Obama in 2008 or 2012 or RINOs Mitt Romney or John McCain. The very first time I voted was for Bush in 2000. I supported Ted Cruz in 2016.
I now support Trump as the President of the U.S.A. #MAGA
Trump is Obama’s President. Don’t be mad.
Obama is Anti-Christ.
Hillary should have a LIE-brary.
I have mentored hundreds of youth in Chattanooga. Some kids like me, some kids hate me. I don't care, they're kids.
I'm for School Choice.
I'm Old school, no nonsense.
I hate Hip-Hop culture and music.
I hate the black culture of failure.
I love the police and military.
Hands up don’t shoot was a LIE.
I mix religion and politics because politics keeps interfering with my religion.
OJ was guilty.
Black Lives Matter is led by demonic women.
All lives matter.
My 3 fears are 1. planes, 2. clowns and a 3. A plane full of clowns.
I love the Word of God.
I believe what we call the Church is not the Church.
The true Church is unified and of one mind.
My favorite preacher is Paul Washer.
Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Freddie Gray DID NOT deserve to die. THEY ALL CHOSE TO DIE BY THEIR OWN CHOICES and ACTIONS.
This is who I am. If you don’t like, respect, or are offended by any statement I made about who I am, leave a “😡” emoji in the comment section and I’ll delete you for your own good.

13th-century scholar Thomas Aquinas warned us about Islam 750 years ago

[Thomas} Aquinas contrasts the spread of Christianity with that of Islam, arguing that much of Christianity’s early success stemmed from widespread belief in the miracles of Jesus, whereas the spread of Islam was worked through the promise of sensual pleasures and the violence of the sword.

SAVE PASTOR SAEED FROM HIS IRANIAN CAPTORS

Pastor Saeed is an American Pastor who is serving an 8 year sentence in one of Iran's toughest prisons simply for sharing his Christian faith. Join us as we petition the international community to demand the release of this innocent man.
Saeed Abedini, a 34-year-old Pastor, father, and husband from Idaho, is currently imprisoned in Rajaei Shahr prison (formerly imprisoned in Evin prison in Tehran, Iran). On 28 July 2012, during a visit to Tehran to visit family and to finalize the board members for an orphanage he was building in Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard detained Saeed, asserting that he must face criminal charges for his Christian faith. After intense interrogations, Saeed was placed under house arrest and told to wait for a court summons. On 26 September 2012, instead of receiving a summons telling him where to appear, five members of the Revolutionary Guard raided Saeed’s parents’ home in Tehran, confiscated many of Saeed’s belongings, and took him to an unknown location. After four days the Revolutionary Guard informed the family that Saeed was in solitary confinement in the notorious Evin Prison.

Throughout Saeed’s imprisonment, he has spent several weeks in solitary confinement. During solitary confinement, Saeed was only brought out of his small cell to be subjected to abusive interrogations. Saeed has been allowed visitation by his family in Tehran, but he has been cut off from his wife and two young children in the U.S.

Saeed had been denied medical treatment for infections that resulted from beatings. While in Evin, the ward doctor and nurse refused to treat him because, as a Christian, he was considered “unclean” and an infidel.

In early 2013, it became known that Saeed was suffering from internal injuries and doctors determined that his injuries warranted immediate attention, and, in their medical opinion, he needed to be treated in a non-prison hospital. For almost a year, the Iranian regime ignored this advice. In March 2014, Saeed was permitted to enter a private hospital for treatment, but after spending almost two months in the hospital, he was returned to prison without having been given surgeries deemed necessary by hospital doctors.

A petition has been started in Saeed’s name, and it quickly received overwhelming media attention. Secretary of State John Kerry has called for his release, the White House has called for his release, and the House of Representatives held two emotional hearings that highlighted Pastor Saeed’s plight. Multiple nations have called for Saeed’s release, and ACLJ attorneys have argued his case before the United Nations. Saeed’s petition has over 610,000 signatures and a letter writing campaign to encourage Saeed has garnered over 50,000 letters. Artists such as Toby Mac, Michael W Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mercy Me, Skillet, Relient K, and Audio Adrenaline have been involved, and lent their voices to raise awareness.

There is still much to be done. Keep up with Saeed's story through the Be Heard Project. Share his story on social media using #SaveSaeed and #BeHeard.

Ministers...pastors...spiritual leaders: this is for all of you

One of my favorite books describes the anguish of a man who felt and followed the call. It reminds me of something Glenn Beck said within the last several years about Christian leaders ducking the responsibility of telling the truth to their flocks.

By Taylor Caldwell

Excerpt, page 103, “Soul Seven, The Betrayer” (1960)

He waited. No one answered him. Then something rose in him like the high and thundering swell of a wave. He fought it down, but it rose high and higher, and out of its smothering he cried, “’Profession!’ I call it ‘profession’! But it is a calling—a calling!—isn’t it? That is what my father said—‘a holy calling’!”

He put the heels of his hands hard over his eyes. “Oh, my God,” he murmured. “To think that there were people long ago who thought God ‘called’ them! Now we gravely consider the impulse we have toward the ministry and wonder if we are well rounded enough, and fully psychologically educated, and adjusted, to become ministers of the Gospel! Are we good administrators? Do we like people? Do people instinctively like us? Are we excellently grounded in the social ethic? Do young people naturally gravitate toward us? Are we expert businessmen? Do women like us? Are we liberal in our ideas? Do we have good voices which inspire confidence? Can we meet men on their own ground easily and confidently, whether it is the golf course, the broker’s office, the club, the family living room, the parish hall, the community activities, the schools, the theater, the good restaurants? In short, are we ‘good fellows, sweet guys, regular people’? Are we enthusiastic about sports and take an active part in them? Are we ‘broad’? Men of ‘diversified’ interests? Conversant with television? Are we on the board of this and that? In short, are we ‘active’?”

He stood up, looking about him with a kind of wild hopelessness. “In short,” he cried, “must we be everything but ministers of the Gospel?”

The white walls were lined with his questions.

Why people hate people who call themselves Christians

If you’ve wondered what a “Christianist” is, this is a pretty fair example. It’s someone who uses Christ Jesus or the teachings of his church as an excuse to justify bigotry, to endorse a thoughtless ideology and to expose a heart full of hate.

Virgin Mary 'crosses the finish line' with Olympic gold runner

An Orthodox Christian, Defar entrusted her race to God with the sign of the cross and reached the finish line in 15:04:24, beating her fellow Ethiopian rival Tirunesh Dibaba, who was the favorite to win.

A teary-eyed Defar proudly showed the picture of the Virgin Mary with the Baby Jesus that she carried with her for the entire race.

What does YOUR church say about the passage of the health care bill?

From a friend of a friend:
How many of you went to church this morning and heard your pastor speak against the passage of the health care bill?

I DID !!!

He told the congregation that we would now have more government in our lives. That it would increase our taxes. He said with increased taxes, we would lose freedom -- freedom to spend our money the way we choose. He said now we can worship as we choose, but we can't say "In Jesus' name" in prayers at football games. He said government doesn't give us our rights, but government dictates how we live. He said now, with time, our government will give us our health care -- it will no longer be an individual responsibility. But if the government gives it, it can take it away.

He said there are 50 things that used to be against the law but which are now funded by us! And we're silent!!! he said.

He read in the Bible a story that was like our country asking China for a loan, but China has strings attached. And then we go back to China for more!

We are losing our freedoms! We are mortgaging our country to China!

He said we can be on the Left or on the Right, but to be elected, politicians must be in the middle. But politicians don't decide where the middle is -- WE do. It is our job to move the centerline. We cannot be passive, he said.

It used to be all pastors spoke about politics from their pulpits, but now they are afraid because of their tax exempt status. But they should look at the tax code -- they can legally say a lot from the pulpit.

If your pastor didn't say these things this morning, perhaps you'll ask him/her to consider doing so in the future. Have him/her check with the IRS Code.

I know a church that has a "Watchman Ministry" just for that purpose, to guide its church members to work for/against State and Federal legislation. They keep a careful eye on the IRS Code.

This pastor then had a guest speak about churches in Iran, who told of how Christians in Iran are jailed for worshiping as they choose.

Oh, you want to know who the pastor is -- the pastor who "goes outside the box" in his sermons?

He is Pastor Rob McCoy of Calvary Chapel.

Pastor Rob has also granted us the use of his sanctuary to show the documentary NOT EVIL JUST WRONG.

Obama's Christian-Muslim Double Standard: Our first Dhimmi President

“Dhimmi” is a status historically given to Christians and Jews in Muslim countries. It is a lesser legal status with lesser rights.

By Tommy DeSeno

With every speech he gives, President Obama goes further and further in diminishing Christianity in America while inflating Muslims here and around the world.

For Americans this appears to be at best an incredibly bad choice of rhetoric or at worst the manifestation of a prejudice hidden in Obama, finally making its way out.

To Muslims though, it has a much deeper meaning tied to the concept of “Dhimmi,” the subjugation of other religions to Islam. I’ll define that in more detail at the end of this column, but first let’s examine the proof that Obama is diminishing Christians while inflating Muslims.
