Dem Candidates Sanders, Castro to Speak at Radical Islamist Convention

Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Julian Castro have agreed to speak at the convention of a radical Islamist group with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and hostility towards progressive Muslims and values.

Sanders and Castro will participate in a “presidential forum” held by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) during its convention in Houston August 31, 2019.

ISNA says it is inviting other Democratic presidential candidates and President Donald Trump to address its audience.

The U.S. Justice Department lists ISNA as an “entity” of the Muslim Brotherhood, a radical and often violent arm of the Islamist global political project. The Brotherhood’s goal is a worldwide caliphate with all of humanity living under sharia law.

Here's a comment from a woman regarding the false information the Cruz campaign made on the phone to Iowa Precinct Captains about Carson dropping out of the race:

I wonder, would we also refer to the illegal aliens crossing the border as “dirty tricks?” The illegal entry of non-nationals into the United States is a misdemeanor. Seems to me referring to Cruz’ committing election fraud, which is a FELONY, as “dirty tricks” is even worse. Are we so lawless and backwards a society that we refer to misdemeanors as “crimes,” yet felonies as “dirty tricks?”

Examples of misdemeanors: Petty theft, prostitution, public intoxication, simple assault, disorderly conduct, trespass, vandalism, reckless driving, discharging a firearm within city limits, possession of cannabis.

NOTE: Petty theft is the crime that Cruz went to the Supreme Court to force a guy into doing 16 years for, even after discovering the sentence was discovered to be an error by the State of Texas.

Let me say that I personally don't care for Rubio, who is the kind of canned over-disciplined on-message candidate that makes me despair of politics: in media interviews, his answers to almost any question are like modular furniture, with the same half-dozen stump-speech lines chopped up and re-assembled and invariably concluding with the ultimate banality of the hustings that "this election is about the future". But, if you'd never heard Rubio speak before Monday, he came over as a crisp effective candidate making the most of his time on national TV. By contrast, Cruz's unfocused ramble of a victory speech left you wondering how the hell this guy won the state.

It can't all be down to ethically dubious mailers and sabotage emails, can it?

Time magazine cautions that "criticizing Ted Cruz seldom works". But, whatever the truth behind these two incidents, they are (as Cruz's former fellow British subjects would say) not cricket. To go back to where I came in, I would like to be governed by honorable men. The Cruz campaign's behavior in Iowa does not meet that test.

Why I'm Supporting Rick Perry - By Jamie Johnson

Following the disastrous presidency of an inexperienced first-term senator with great speaking ability, America needs three things in the next president of the United States: (1) a strong chief executive, (2) a strong commander-in-chief, and (3) a strong moral leader.

By a strong chief executive, I mean someone who has actually run a government; someone who has created a civic climate for job growth, business growth, and personal income growth; someone who has tackled the problems of over-taxation, over-regulation, and over-litigation; someone who has forged a legacy of prosperity and opportunity that is a model for good government.

By a strong commander-in-chief, I mean someone who has actually worn the uniform of our country; someone who knows what it means to command a military force; someone who our allies will trust and our enemies will fear; someone who will put freedom on the offensive.

By a strong moral leader, I mean someone who will defend life, marriage, and religious liberty; someone who will champion every freedom in the Bill of Rights; someone who will lead with humility, integrity, and honor; someone who will never forget where he came from, nor the Bible’s command to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before God.

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry is all three of these things. In fact, of all the good people (and there are several) who are considering a run for the presidency, he is the only one who qualifies as being all three.
