No strings?

NOT.

Campus Watch, a project of the Middle East Forum, reported that in 2006, someone at The Harvard Crimson wondered if something was up: No Strings Attached? [on Alwaleed's $20 million gift to Harvard]

Today, this delicate dance is no longer necessary:

Want to Know Just How Close the Muslim Brotherhood Is to the Obama Admin?

But it does explain why Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal would first contact Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Manour who would then contact Harlem lawyer Percy Sutton to wield his influence at Harvard to get Obama in.
Harlem lawyer Percy Sutton – whose clients included Malcolm X – explained that Islamic radical Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour, “one of the world’s wealthiest men,” asked him to write a letter of recommendation to Harvard Law School for then relatively unknown Barack Obama.

In the video, Sutton says he was introduced to Obama by al-Mansour, a Saudi citizen, who “was then raising money” for Obama.

Sutton described al-Mansour as being from Texas, saying al-Mansour was the “principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men,” most likely Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.
Did radical Muslims help send Obama to Harvard?

The media's direct intervention to PREVENT a proper vetting of candidate Obama -- LA Times Withholds Video of Obama Toasting Former PLO Operative at Jew Bashing Dinner -- meant that the deal was sealed.

All these machinations mean there were some pretty high stakes involved.

Getting a friend of Islam in the White House was only the beginning.
