By the numbers, Ed Whelan at National Review notes on Wednesday afternoon that Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his Senate colleagues have just confirmed the President’s 50th addition to the federal appellate courts, Lawrence VanDyke.
Gary Martin at the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that 50 is “a record for a president this early in a term, said Carl Tobias, a University of Richmond School of Law professor and former founding faculty of UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law.”
