What is the Boston Tea Party?
What it was a long time ago:
"The Boston Tea Party was a direct action protest by the American colonists against Great Britain in which they destroyed many crates of tea on ships in Boston Harbor. The incident, which took place on Thursday, December 16, 1773, has been seen as helping to spark the American Revolution." (from Wikipedia).
What it is now:
It's a brand new political party!
It's so new, it's not even listed here yet:
Party, Party, Party!
There's so many, it's actually hard to count (I was surprised at how many). There's even a Pot Party (bet you've been to one of those--if you are of a certain age, that is).
How about that "Light Party!" (falls somewhere between the Greens and New Age feel of the now defunct Natural Law Party according to Politics1.com)...wonder what the "father of lights" would think about it?
The poor Libertarian Party though (glad I jumped ship): I wonder, since those remaining seem already pretty close to conservative Republicans, if they'll even be able to keep their ballot access after awhile?
