CANADA: Zero Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act

From Chantel Marques (a human rights activist for women and children who've been to hell and back, living under the iron fist of bloody theocratic governments heavily strangled by Sharia Law in the ME):
"Sharia Law has been rejected in parliament, consistently. Also, we have zero tolerance on honour killings and barbaric practices, as well as early and forced marriages, and polygamy."
Peter MacKay, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada
Rona Ambrose, Canada’s Health Minister
“Violence against women and girls is a heinous abuse of human rights and has no place in Canadian society. The Zero Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act sends a clear message that any form of harmful cultural practices is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. I am proud that our Government continues to take strong action to ensure the equality, safety and security of women and girls in communities all across Canada.”

Guess where all those pre-printed protest signs come from?

Ever wonder where the signs used in the protests come from?? They are obviously manufactured signs. Who pays for them??

If you were watching the news broadcast from Ferguson, Mo. before the indictment decision was announced, you undoubtedly saw many people holding up signs reflecting their sentiments. Those people did not print the signs themselves. On the bottom of the signs is the inscription recom.us. The below signs appear to be in NYC.

Now things in Ferguson and around the country make a lot more sense when you see who prints up these protest signs!

From Answers.com

Raw Steaks

This might be the image you generally see of a very content dog but unfortunately, your dog shouldn't be eating raw meat like this. It's one thing to catch a squirrel and eat it but the way that meat is processed and shipped, eating it raw is dangerous for humans and animals alike!

“We’re done.”

Frankly, this is more shocking than the famous quote spoken to Scarlett Ohara by Rhett Butler in the movie "Gone With The Wind": “Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.”

"We're done," a growing sentiment amongst the guardians of our freedom, means we are leaving behind the freedom of our Constitutional Republic and entering the free-for-all of a chaotic anarchism whose only outcome can be a totalitarian regime, most likely that of Islam, judging from our "presidents" own loyalties.
Those words were said to me by dozens of incredibly frustrated and discouraged officers in the last two weeks at a half a dozen Calibre Press seminars.

I’ve listened to police officers who were incredibly emotional. One had been shot several times while trying to protect a woman from a husband on a domestic abuse case. Another had been shot making a simple traffic stop.

Several teared up as they talked about how hard they work and what they have sacrificed personally to do their jobs and protect those in their communities. One told me how he ran into a burning house to save the occupants. Another talked of diving into a flooded street to save a person stuck in a car. These are people who loved their job—until their job became toxic in the popular discourse.

I had conversations with several officers who had experienced significant stress during the so-called “peaceful” demonstrations going on right now. They talked emotionally of being called “pig” and “murderer” and all sorts of other vile names.

I’ve seen videos where officers have the finger in their face, inches away from their eyes while the demonstrators called them “slaves” and “killers.”

And what’s becoming their emotional reaction across this country? “We’re done.”

The ACA’s overall impact on employment, however, will arguably be larger than that of any single piece of legislation since World War II.

Much of the ACA’s tax effect resembles unemployment insurance: both encourage layoffs and discourage people from returning to work.
Starting this year, the United States’ working population will face three major employment disincentives resulting from the very benefits the Affordable Care Act (ACA) provides: (1) an explicit tax on full-time work, (2) an implicit tax on full-time work for those who are ineligible for the ACA’s health insurance subsidies, and (3) an implicit tax that links the amount of available subsidies to workers’ incomes.

A new study published by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University advances the understanding of how much these ACA taxes will reduce overall employment, and why. It concludes that the reduction will be nearly double that projected by previous analyses. Labor markets ultimately will reduce weekly employment per person by about 3 percent—translating to roughly 4 million fewer full-time-equivalent workers.

Below is a brief summary of this important update. Please see “The Affordable Care Act and the New Economics of Part-Time Work” to read the entire study and to learn more about author Casey B. Mulligan, a professor of economics at the University of Chicago.

SAVE PASTOR SAEED FROM HIS IRANIAN CAPTORS

Pastor Saeed is an American Pastor who is serving an 8 year sentence in one of Iran's toughest prisons simply for sharing his Christian faith. Join us as we petition the international community to demand the release of this innocent man.
Saeed Abedini, a 34-year-old Pastor, father, and husband from Idaho, is currently imprisoned in Rajaei Shahr prison (formerly imprisoned in Evin prison in Tehran, Iran). On 28 July 2012, during a visit to Tehran to visit family and to finalize the board members for an orphanage he was building in Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard detained Saeed, asserting that he must face criminal charges for his Christian faith. After intense interrogations, Saeed was placed under house arrest and told to wait for a court summons. On 26 September 2012, instead of receiving a summons telling him where to appear, five members of the Revolutionary Guard raided Saeed’s parents’ home in Tehran, confiscated many of Saeed’s belongings, and took him to an unknown location. After four days the Revolutionary Guard informed the family that Saeed was in solitary confinement in the notorious Evin Prison.

Throughout Saeed’s imprisonment, he has spent several weeks in solitary confinement. During solitary confinement, Saeed was only brought out of his small cell to be subjected to abusive interrogations. Saeed has been allowed visitation by his family in Tehran, but he has been cut off from his wife and two young children in the U.S.

Saeed had been denied medical treatment for infections that resulted from beatings. While in Evin, the ward doctor and nurse refused to treat him because, as a Christian, he was considered “unclean” and an infidel.

In early 2013, it became known that Saeed was suffering from internal injuries and doctors determined that his injuries warranted immediate attention, and, in their medical opinion, he needed to be treated in a non-prison hospital. For almost a year, the Iranian regime ignored this advice. In March 2014, Saeed was permitted to enter a private hospital for treatment, but after spending almost two months in the hospital, he was returned to prison without having been given surgeries deemed necessary by hospital doctors.

A petition has been started in Saeed’s name, and it quickly received overwhelming media attention. Secretary of State John Kerry has called for his release, the White House has called for his release, and the House of Representatives held two emotional hearings that highlighted Pastor Saeed’s plight. Multiple nations have called for Saeed’s release, and ACLJ attorneys have argued his case before the United Nations. Saeed’s petition has over 610,000 signatures and a letter writing campaign to encourage Saeed has garnered over 50,000 letters. Artists such as Toby Mac, Michael W Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mercy Me, Skillet, Relient K, and Audio Adrenaline have been involved, and lent their voices to raise awareness.

There is still much to be done. Keep up with Saeed's story through the Be Heard Project. Share his story on social media using #SaveSaeed and #BeHeard.

How Social Security Makes Us Poorer

When you read that Social Security lifts 50 percent of seniors out of poverty, keep in mind that it was largely the cost of Social Security that put them there. It's the perfect example of government incompetence creating higher costs and misguided incentives—and delivering exactly the opposite of what it promised.

The contradiction stems from the cost of Social Security, which has exploded.

Radio Host: Obama Has An ‘Anti-American Foreign Policy’

Coming to talk radio entirely by accident after a long career in mainstream journalism, Chris Plante, 54, is a rising national star who excels at entertaining and informing his growing audience.
With 17 years spent at CNN, Plante is a frequent thorn-in-the-side of the mainstream media. In this exclusive 22 minute video interview, Plante says, “I think the Iranian regime wishes that they had a media as compliant as the American media is to the Obama administration. It is just a referee bought and paid for by one team, by the Democrats.”
Referring to the drone attacks that killed four American citizens on orders by our President, Plante says “he [Obama] literally, gets away with murder.” When you consider it, the precedent “is very, very bad.”
“We’re lied to by omission and co-mission all day every day by this corrupt regime, this dishonest, this bought and paid for referee,” Plante says. “When they ignore the facts in favor of the narrative, then we are done. We’re no longer the United States of America. We might as well be East Germany in the bad old days, where the news media is completely controlled by the state.”

We're never going to run out of oil

REAL CLEAR POLITICS:
With prices returning to ordinary levels and a few centuries’ worth of fossil fuels on tap, this is a good time to remind ourselves that nearly every warning the left has peddled about an impending energy crisis over the past 30 to 40 years has turned out to be wrong. And none of them are more wrong than the Malthusian idea that says we’re running out of oil.
